Snitching is code amongst criminals, and a word which culturally lays a heavy psychological burden on the mind of individuals who are concerned about their reputation whether the accusation is true or not. It puts a person at risk and damages their credibility on various levels. However, as was stated one cannot concern himself with such labels when enjoining the good and forbidding the evil. Nevertheless we are living in times where people are struggling to understand right from wrong and the label of "snitch" strongly and negatively impacts the minds of those who come out an environment, young or old, and the culture where telling anything is just a no-no. Therefore standing for justice, or enjoining the good and forbidding the evil still bears the psychological effect of burdening one's mind as being a snitch. Especially with the you youth who are environmentally indoctrinated with the idea of telling is wrong under any circumstances. Interesting subject which should be explored further.
