can I just say how glad I am that you are making these videos?? Not only do we get to be a part of your everyday life, which is so cool, we also get to be part of the whole moving-experince. It has really taught me that even though it seems easy to move out on my own, it's alot of work and not just something you can do over night. Thank you for being so great and teaching me so much Ingrid, your are a true source of inspiration!
I use half for bubble bars..or whole if i want my bathroom to be filled with bubbles>< and i use the whole bath bombs cuz...its also fun to watch the whole thing fizz up!!:D i am a huge lush lover too~~~
I absolutely love these vlogs. They let me be nosy, and see all the mundane details that I find so fascinating. Thanks for the Tiny Tower addiction, Ingrid!
@Amycakes1 and yeah, i normally crumble the bubble bar under where the tap will run before the water is even running, but you can crumble it under the faucet as it runs. and for the bombs i wait until the bath is full before i chuck it in!
I join in with the hand numbers & the intro song every time now :D I'll miss your Vlogmas so much, Ingrid! I love Lush so much! With the bath bombs I drop the whole thing into a full bath but crumble the bubble bars under running water & get about 3-4 uses out of each one :)
with the bubble bars crumble off little chunks under the running water until you get as many bubbles as you want, some people use a whole bar some use a quarter (the same as liquid bubble bath - everyone likes a different amount). with the bath bombs you can use all or half or less if you really want. most people use half so they get two baths out of one.
I usually cut the bubble bars into smaller pieces, depending on how may bubbles i want, and then i cut the bath bombs in half at the line where the two halves meet.
When I use bubble bars I cut them in 1"x1" pieces then put them in an old nylon stocking then I tie the stocking to the faucet so the bubble bar chunk is right under the flowing water. It will create way more bubbles because if you use it directly it will leave chunks at the button that won't be able to bubble.
I'm not gonna lie, I am really enjoying going back and watching your vlogs from when you moved into your apartment....I just now have the ability to move out so it's kind of fun to watch!
for bath melts i use a tiny chunk for bath bombs i use the whole thing for bubble bars i use half, a good tip is to put the bar into a stocking, crush it up until its powder and run it directly under the tap im new to the lush soaps and im not quite sure how to use them. do you put it on a loofa? do you use it after you cleanse as a luxury item? hope that was helpful :) luv you ingrid
Ingrid, I got the cupcake mask you recommended the other day! My brother and I used it that night and were so amazed! You're right, it's amazing on breakouts and calming your skin. Thanks girl
bubble bars you should crumble under the faucet until you see the amount of bubbles/color you want. it usually takes about half of a bubble bar for a normal tub
you use 1/3 of the bubbelbar (and you have to crumble them under the running water) 1/2 of a bathbom (i recemend mixing the bubelbars and the bath melt, btw you only need 1/3 of the bathmelt) xxx
I usually cut or break off the bubble bar and use 1/4 or 1/8 at a time.. they last so much longer that way and you still get lots of bubbles. My fav mask is the Love Lettuce--it's so refreshing!
love golden wonder, Even though I like breaking them to get more uses, if I get golden wonder again I'd do it at once because it's a multi colored surprise one!
Porridge is one of my favourites from Lush. I also love Vanilla in the Mist (discontinued) soap. If you like peppermint and vanilla try the Abombinaball bath bomb. I love it because it is really cute, is very moisturizing, and leaves the water turquoise.
the bubble bars must be crumbled under running water (the more pressure the better) in roder to get bubbles and you only need usually 1/3 to 1/2 of a bubble bar
I buy lots of Lush stuff for my kids...I usually use 1/2 of the bubble bars and the bath bombs. If you try to cut the bathbombs along the seam, it usually successfully separates most of the time. If you have really dry skin the butterball bath bombs are amazing! (I bought them when my son was in swimming lessons ~ the chlorine in the pool dried his skin out like crazy). The only problem with the glitter bubble bar is cleaning it out of the tub! :)
omg i'm so happy for you! your little home is coming along so well and you seem very happy! it makes me really excited to make my own home when i'm older! merry christmas!
Bubble bars can be broken up into several baths, a little goes a long way. The bombs can't be broken up unfortunately...but the melts can be. I'm so jealous of your enormous Lush collection! I don't have room for all of that...but enjoy, you will become a bathaholic!
i always try to split my bubble bars into 2 or 3 baths depending on how big of a bar it is. with the bath bombs, i use the whole thing for 1 bath. have fun! lush is the best
the lil present bath bomb thing at 9:16 is so cute! I got two of my best friends these for christmas, when you but the bomb in the bath the ball in the middle bursts and it has gold bath salts and gold sequins in it (that don't stick to you) i had to purchase one for myself after the lady told us about it!
I absolutely love you and look to you directly for makeup ideas and hair and for different products to try. And I absolutely love your phone case. Where did you get it?! I want one (:
I love your scarf and sweater... it looks so comfy. Where's your knit sweater from? Btw top knot video please. I wear my hair in a top bun quite often... I'd just like to see how you do yours =)
depending on the size of the bath bomb and bubble bar, I personally split it in half or so, unless it's the comforter bubble bar(or the one that's relatively the same size) I've gotten six baths out it!
i usually use a full bath bomb because lots of them like have stuff in the middle so if you only used half i dont think it would work as well, but idk i havent tried it before! and i usually use only a 1/4 of a bubble bar. all of lush's products are amazing!!

For bubble bars I generally cut them so that I can have 4-5 baths with them, with bath bomb I tried to cut them but it's really hard to cut!
The blueberry mask is great too!! And the cherry soap: I break it into parts before I use it :D and the rest of the bath bombs and the bubble bars : just put the hole thing in the water soooo amazing :D
i use the whole bath bomb and it depends on the size of bubble bar for me!! for the comforter i would use a quarter of it but i would use half for the bubble bars that you got!
I only split the bath melt's in half and the others I would definitely use the whole thing even though it may seem like so much. Enjoy your lush product's there so luxurious !! Happy holidays
The golden wonder bathbomb is by far my favorite holiday bath bomb. I would use the entire thing because if you break it, it might ruin it. But I generally use the entire bath bomb and small piece of a bubble bar and a small piece of a bath melt for one bath. They call it a cocktail. :)
Please do a skincare routine sometime! I want to know what moisturizers u recommend for comboily acne prone skin year round. Thanks for sharing yor lush basket and faves..I wanted to start trying out their stuff soon but never could decide what online tho.
bath bombs- whole thing bubble bars- break up I LOVE SUNNY SIDE. it actually turns your water a gold color not really sparkly since the glitter disolves which is nice since you dont leave the bath covered in glitter. :D I also love the porridge scent too. though it gets oats all over my bath :( and i feel like i use it faster than lush's other soaps :(. [love your vlogmas videos :)]
Hey Ingrid (or anyone), do you wash your hair in the bath when you a lush bath bomb? Or do you just wash it off in the faucet/before you put the bomb in? Thanks!
I use whole bath bombs. The bubble bars I just break up into chunks, and instead of crumbling like LUSH says, I hold a big chunk under running water. That prevents most of the little pieces from settling in the bottom of the tub. You should try the Oatifix face mask - it reminds me a lot of Porridge in the scent department, and is very scrubby but moisturizing at the same time.
If you only use half of the bath bombs/bubble bars do you cut them in half before you use them or just "soak" half of it in the water... i know the latter one sounds really stupid but i'm a completely noob when it comes to lush. :(
With the bath bombs, I put the whole thing in because it's hard to slice them with out everything crumbling all over the place. With the bubble bar, you can crack it and use just a part of it so that it will last you multiple baths. Make sure to crumble it under running water. That's how you get all the bubbles!
Do you use the soaps just like regular soap or is there a specific way? Im never bought anything from LUSH, and Im trying to learn more about the products:)
I just wanted to let you know that after your recommendation I went out and bought the cupcake mast and LOVED it!!!! It pretty much cleared up my face within two uses!! And I use half a bath bomb by by hammering a screw driver thingy into the center of it. I also cut the bubble bars into halves of thirds:)
I use the whole thing wether its a bath bomb or a bubble bar. I've never used a bath melt before but that cherry one looks like its meant to be cut into three pieces.
@4evranangel nvm because the present is hollow right? so in comparison with the regular size solid bombs, it should dissolve at the same rate, if not quicker.
Question: Aren't all those chunks of stuff in the soap really bad for your drain? (As in, wouldn't the drain get clogged really easily because of your soaps?)
I always do half of a bubble bar and a half of a bath bomb (large one). I love mixing the scents. My tub is huge and that is enough product for good smell and lots of bubbles.
with the bath bombs, i use the whole thing. with the bubble bars i use a quarter to a half depending on how much "bubble" i want. they kind of crumble tho so idk. oh & with the present, this may sound gross but you'll probably find it difficult to break so i would just throw it in, and then take it out and let it dry on a towel & use it again. or throw it away... but i feel like it would be nearly impossible to use it in one bath.
i always split my bubble bars into about 4 or 5 pieces depending how big the bar is. you crumble it up while the bath is running :) bath bombs they say to just put the whole thing in but i try and split it in 2.
I have only used the bubble bars and I have Jets so i only need to use a pinch to create a bunch of bubbles but if u dont have jets u could use probably half to the whole thing depending on how many bubbles u want
a LUSH store recently opened near my place, but because i have sensitive skin ( i have eczema too, but it has mostly cleared up ) i am not sure if their products will be suitable for my skin! I'm very keen on trying it though.
Ingrid, I got the cupcake mask you recommended the other day! My brother and I used it that night and were so amazed! You're right, it's amazing on breakouts and calming your skin. Thanks
I worked at Lush...use a whole bath bomb (by the time you split it, not only are you frustrated because it's hard to do, but it's just not as cool in the bath) and bubble bars you can definitely cut up. Depending on the size, use 1/2 - 1/4. Happy bathing! :)
Ingrid, where did you get all of your lip butters? I live on the east coast and I have been to multiple drug stores and I can't find them anywhere! Can anyone help me out? thankss(:
with bath bombs you throw in the whole thing, bubble bars cut into chunks depending on size, and with your cherry bath melt, i usually cut that into thirds and then use one of the thirds with a bubble bar or bath bomb! :)
On the bath bombs-you use the entire bomb. You can use the bubble bars in 3 parts as well as the bath melts. The bath melts can be mixed with the bubble bars and the bath bombs. Try to mix like scents. Enjoy your goodies.
You should crumble the bubble bar under running water! I usually use one whole bath bombs, but I don't use bubble bars much so I don't know how people use it, I think for that size of a normal bubble bar unless you have the huge pink one ( I can't remember the name!) then maybe you can use the whole bar?
I have a question , do tall the scents not combine if they are stored like that, because i bought my first go at lush and don't no wer or how to store them ,please help !!! ?!!!!
do you only use one bar at a time because if you were to use it in the shower and then put it back in the basket, wouldnt everything get melty and wet?
So every since you talk about Tiny Tower app I been loving it!!!! I install it on my iPad. You ALWAYS ran errands all day long!!! LOL! :D Doesn't the scent clash with each other since it's all out together? O_o
The Sunny Side is really fun! It's like bathing in liquid gold!. I usually use a whole bath bomb, but I break the bubble bars in half. Also, you and I seem to have the same taste in perfume. I wear the Daisy (original) in summer and spring, and Coco Mademoiselle in the fall/winter.
bubble bars i use half or smaller of the big ones. Used to cut my bath bombs in half but ive started using the whole ones now bc I have so many. keep the soap away from the shower stream bc they will dissolve faster. My fave face mask is oatifix, smells like banana bread!
I usually cut up the bubble bars and bath melts but I use the bath bombs whole... I think you could cut them up as well to get more use out of them! :)
@lms031 I dont recommend washing your hair with the bath bomb is. It makes my hair really tangled and greasy. I either wash my hair in the bath before I put the bomb in or wash in the sink after.
They are always out of cupcake when I go too.. I've tried almost all the masks and cupcake is my favorite ... Mask of magnamity is also good too (it's not a fresh mask, so it lasts for 3 months )
Bath bombs are really difficult to break and only use part, but it is possible! They're meant to be a one use item. And the bubble bars should be easy to break up. I think I use the comforter for about 4 or 5 baths? Enjoy the bath melt, love that one!
I have a friend that works at Lush, you normally use a quarter of the bath bombs. or half, depending on the amount of bubbles you like. but a quarter is more than suffice!
i use the whole bath bomb but split up your bubble bars because if u use the whole thing u will overflow ur bath with bubbles also with the bubble bars crumble them under the tap.
i miss her vlogs :(
can I just say how glad I am that you are making these videos?? Not only do we get to be a part of your everyday life, which is so cool, we also get to be part of the whole moving-experince. I don't ever want you to stop vlogging...its like having a friend there to cheer you up everyday. :)
I use half for bubble bars..or whole if i want my bathroom to be filled with bubbles>< and i use the whole bath bombs cuz...its also fun to watch the whole thing fizz up!!:D i am a huge lush lover too~~~
Also, you can mix any Lush product with any Lush product. My favourite mix is Space Girl, think pink, the comforter and happy blooming
I absolutely love these vlogs. They let me be nosy, and see all the mundane details that I find so fascinating. Thanks for the Tiny Tower addiction, Ingrid!

hahaha i don't know if you noticed this, but when you're raving about a product, you shake it a lot. it makes me smile :)
When I use bubble bars I cut them in 1"x1" pieces then put them in an old nylon stocking then I tie the stocking to the faucet so the bubble bar chunk is right under the flowing water. Watching these videos makes me feel so christmassy even though it's only october :) bring on the lush loveliness and starbucks red cups! x
You have gotten me so addicted to Tiny Tower it is ridiculous! I LOVE IT!
for bath melts i use a tiny chunk
for bath bombs i use the whole thing
for bubble bars i use half, a good tip is to put the bar into a stocking, crush it up until its powder and run it directly under the tap
im new to the lush soaps and im not quite sure how to use them.

I went to lush for the first time last week and I am completly in love with the bath bombs, mostly the abominable snowman one
i usually use the whole thing because i find it really hard to take it out after only half of it is used. it just melts away!
I buy lots of Lush stuff for my kids...I usually use 1/2 of the bubble bars and the bath bombs. If you try to cut the bathbombs along the seam, it usually successfully separates most of the time. omg i'm so happy for you! your little home is coming along so well and you seem very happy! it makes me really excited to make my own home when i'm older! merry christmas!
Try the lush sea salt its amazing it makes your skin sooooo soft I love it and it smells so refreshing !!! I also use the cupcake mask too
Bubble bars can be broken up into several baths, a little goes a long way. The bombs can't be broken up unfortunately...but the melts can be. I'm so jealous of your enormous Lush collection! I don't have room for all of that...but enjoy, you will become a bathaholic!
Your appartment looks so nice! I love how you basically give us an updated appartment tour like everyday hahah :)
i always try to split my bubble bars into 2 or 3 baths depending on how big of a bar it is. with the bath bombs, i use the whole thing for 1 bath. have fun! lush is the best

could you show us the effects in your bath before you go in? my current flat doesnt have a bath :( but when i move id like to start using lush
Do you use the soaps just like regular soap or is there a specific way? Im never bought anything from LUSH, and Im trying to learn more about the products:)
where do you shop for ur dishes/cookware/ you should do more cooking/kitchen tutorials/vlogs!!

@4evranangel nvm because the present is hollow right? so in comparison with the regular size solid bombs, it should dissolve at the same rate, if not quicker.
Won't the steam from the bathtub ruin your products? I have a similar bath set up and I dont keep my makeup in the room in case they get ruined.
make sure to crush the bubble bars up under running water when taking a bath! first time i just threw it in and it didnt do all that much!
Question: Aren't all those chunks of stuff in the soap really bad for your drain? (As in, wouldn't the drain get clogged really easily because of your soaps?)

Do a video on how to use this things! Im new to Lush and not sure if i wash my hair in the bath with the bath bombs or?
i crumble a tiny amount of the bubble bars in to the bath (like an 8th) and it creates more than enough bubbles!
a LUSH store recently opened near my place, but because i have sensitive skin ( i have eczema too, but it has mostly cleared up ) i am not sure if their products will be suitable for my skin! I'm very keen on trying it though.
Ingrid, I got the cupcake mask you recommended the other day! My brother and I used it that night and were so amazed! You're right, it's amazing on breakouts and calming your skin. Thanks

Ingrid, where did you get all of your lip butters? I live on the east coast and I have been to multiple drug stores and I can't find them anywhere! Can anyone help me out? thankss(:
With the bubble bars I only use a 1/4 to a 1/2 because you get so many bubbles from them and with the bath bombs I always use all of it xxxxx
Do you cut pieces off your soap to use? Is that how your bars stay good looking? Also, how expensive is this stuff?
My mom and I are OBSESSED with the sultana de soap too!! It's amazing!
how do you actually use the lush soaps, do you use it with a flannel or rubb the thing on your body
with bath bombs you throw in the whole thing, bubble bars cut into chunks depending on size, and with your cherry bath melt, i usually cut that into thirds and then use one of the thirds with a bubble bar or bath bomb! :)
you got me adicted to tiny tower !!! play it for 2 days now , already have 12 stories !!! love it
do you put bath bomb's in before you get in to the tub or do you put it in while you are in?
for bath bombs use the whole things but for bubble bars and melts you can divid them up to makes them last longer
I usually use one whole bath bombs, but I don't use bubble bars much so I don't know how people use it, I think for that size of a normal bubble bar unless you have the huge pink one ( I can't remember the name!) then maybe you can use the whole bar?

do you only use one bar at a time because if you were to use it in the shower and then put it back in the basket, wouldnt everything get melty and wet?
For bath ballistics, I use the whole thing, but for the bubble bars, I cut of little bits and get maybe 3 uses out of them,(:
You only have to use a quarter of the Christmas Eve bubble bar. I used a quarter of mine the other day and had TONS of bubbles :)
What do you use to cut your lush soap? I've tried before but they just crumble.
love your scarf! i've looking for a cheetah one, where did you get it?
I use the full one... because its quite hard to cut them without them falling apart
@lms031 I dont recommend washing your hair with the bath bomb is. It makes my hair really tangled and greasy. I either wash my hair in the bath before I put the bomb in or wash in the sink after.
Use the whole bath bomb! the golden wonder one that looks like a gift is amazing. it shoots out stars and different colors.
OMG WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR SWEATER? IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE OF THOSE FOR SO LONG
With bubble bars, you can use a little bit of it everytime, but bath bombs are meant to be used whole.
I have a friend that works at Lush, you normally use a quarter of the bath bombs. or half, depending on the amount of bubbles you like. but a quarter is more than suffice!
tell us what's inside the little present bath bomb when you use it? also, what is your lip combo?
i use the whole bath bomb but split up your bubble bars because if u use the whole thing u will overflow ur bath with bubbles also with the bubble bars crumble them under the tap.
