Dude your videos are incredible! As someone who grew a youtube channel, my biggest piece of advice is to stick with this kind of content, it is gold!!!
Thanks. I'll stick to this 😉
First of all, I discovered your content last night and can't get enough of it. I love how short and to the point it is and yet, it is high quality and clear.
This being said, I have a bit of (hopefully constructive) criticism that actually applies not only to your content but most content I find on youtube when it comes to Ableton tutorials. As a beginner, I don't feel I can justify spending hundreds of euros on more advanced Ableton Live versions and even less spending big money on plugins since there are some really good free quality plugins. And yet, most tutorials that benefit beginners like myself seem to focus on the full version or Ableton Live and/or expensive plugins (often Serum and similar ones). I would really love to see more content, ideally in the same short and efficient format as your content, that not only cater to beginners' skills (your content is, once again, perfect in that regard) but also use tools that a beginner is likely to be able to have access to.
Right now I feel it is like finding a tutorial about changing the oil of a car but showing it with a Ferrari. It won't help me that much change the oil in my old Renault while people who own a Ferrari probably won't care about the tutorial because they can have someone else change the oil for them.
I understand your problem but here I'm not doing tutorials for beginners, more for average and advanced producers (even if I still explain some basic stuff to be clear for a large number). I think you can find what you need on other RUclips channels more focused on beginners. And so far I don't have a Ferrari in my garage 😅
@@DaFresh I understand. I guess I'll have to keep on trying to adapt your tutorials to the software/plugins I own (I really love the format, including the fact that you start by showing the final result so I know immediately if it is something to my taste or not). And nice try about the Ferrari but if I could afford to buy you one as a thank you for your tutorials, I would also buy the full version of Ableton! :p
The job's done en 4min. Impeccable 👍
Voilà ! 😉
Thank you, king! It's giving Cyberpunk!
🙏😌
just like a month after selected cyberpunk from upperground lol
As a student of urs (eventhough i just find ya) PLEASE do not change the way you produce videos both length and the way you teach is perfect please keep it up this way and DONT change pleeeeeeaaaaaseeeeeee much love from turkey
Thanks, I won't change 😉

tutorial idea: album transitions between two tracks
I need it
Very specific idea... I suggest you to listen to your favorites albums and analyse the transitions, then try to inspire yourself from this.
I have never heard of collision until now, also great tutorial I will defiantly be using this in my tracks
I don't use it a lot to be honest, but for this kind of sounds it's perfect

cool! So easy when you do it! can we have an arpeggiator automation episode sometime?
Check this one 👉 ruclips.net/video/OS4z16IHeiw/видео.html
how can we do it without collison? i dont got it in ableton
Surely there are other ways to do it, but I use Collision it's fast and easy
Hello DaFresh, thank You so much for this vid and all the other vids, I have learned a lot and You allready taught me so much. Currently I try to create a bass sound in Abletons Wavetable for a progressive baseline as in „Show Me“ from Gaga ruclips.net/video/3cJVFdJ6uWk/видео.html
I`ve allready searched RUclips but I didn`t find a solution with only using Ableton stock plugins. Maybe You know how to do this…? You`d make me so happy if You could create a video to explain it.
Thank You very very much!!!
Daniel (Cologne, Germany)
Thanks for the kind words 🙏😌 To make a bass like this in Wavetable, just keep the default preset with a sine waveform, a little touch of Saturator, and a sidechain compression
