The only races I have watched in the last 5 years have been at Darlington and the All-Star race at North Wilkesboro. I have not attended a race since 2015. If NASCAR ever gets smart enough to bring Rockingham or Nashville Fairgrounds back, I will attend.
Am i the only one that appreciates all of stock car racing new and old. The only thing these comment sections say is how no matter how old is "NASCAR racing better back in these days" to me its all fun
POINTS STANDINGS and WINS BEFORE the 1978 MOTOR STATE 400 (yes, that's the sponsorless name of the June Michigan races): · Cale Yarborough (2182 with 3 wins, Oldsmobile) · Benny Parsons (-37 with 3 wins, Chevrolet) · Dave Marcis (-119, Chevrolet) · Bobby Allison (-247 with 2 wins, Ford) · Darrell Waltrip (-299 with 4 wins with Chevrolet) · Lennie Pond (-304, Chevrolet) · Richard Petty (-305, Dodge) · Buddy Arrington (-408, Dodge) · Richard Childress 9th (-478, Chevrolet), Cecil Gordon 16th (-841, Chevrolet) while David Pearson was running a partial schedule (2 wins with Mercury)
15:36 'Waltrip is critical of his pit crew when they don't perform properly' Its always great to humiliate your guys in public 🙄..He was a knob even then. Man this isn't the first time hearing or seeing something about this guys mouth even back then.
Love these old races, haven't watched the new world nascar in 2 years

Bobby Allison runs up front in all these old races , he was a good driver
Good lord a young Al Michaels
I did a triple take just now. He’s been in this game for a WHILE.
The man is an icon. His voice makes the games/events seem even more important.
159 mph. Just wait until Bill elliot comes along
Richard's Dodge Magnum just didn't live up to the capabilities of his 3rd generation Charger. Both were beautiful cars though. 🇺🇲
Won't we have any more races?
