Having a cool take-apart option = engineering at it's finest :)
Yeah and it makes me feel COOL! =)
I was just thinking about this one, time flies
I really liked this video when you first did it. Plus this new video with behind the scenes stuff
I'm glad I had the experience from making leather (and web) gear for WW2 reenacting for nearly 20 years. When I came back into cons & costumes again about 10 years ago, I put it to good use making various Star Wars holsters & such... fitting, of course, when you think about how many vintage firearms & gear were used in those movies. Working for a reenacting vendor, I got to do a LOT of hand-stitching leather (UGH), but also used industrial machines and things like a clicker press to die-cut leather pieces.
Super cool! Industrial leather craft tools are crazy amazing.
@@PunishedPropsExtras They are :) We had a big Adler leather sewing machine, could stitch through 4 layers of 8/9 weight leather
Why is Bill not wearing glasses in the video?!
I used to wear my contact lenses a lot more back then.
