I feel like this is exactly what we have been missing in the dance/freestyle world. It's nice when you can watch a performance in high quality but an amazing video like this one with commentary/introduction and interviews is something that we should have more and more ! How many times were you blown away by a performance of somebody and wish you knew the story behind it and wanted to know more about that dancer ? This felt like a short film and I absolutely enjoyed it. Thank you Fair Play Dance Camp for doing something like this ! Videos like this is what we need and what will make our community grow :) And for Paradox,I always admired you and I wish your injury will heal soon ! This performance was beautiful and I could watch it all day :)
i was there in fairplay, saw this live and trust me i am not exaggerating what you saw in this video is just 1% of the vibe that Paradox created there.
This video is going to be my guidebook. Look at him. Feel what he's feeling. You inspire many of us to grow and not give up. Your training is much more than about muscles and body. It strikes very deep sensation about who I am and whom I want to be. You helped me understand myself better and thus become not only a better dancer, but also a better person. I regret only about one thing - not meeting you earlier so that I could get fueled by your energy and philosophy.I can't describe how greatly thankful I am for your work and perception of dance, art and life purposes. May luck and virtue follow you wherever you go and wherever life takes you. Peace.
I felt EVERYTHING. And I think I can honestly say that we all caught a snowball from this man, we are all inspired in this very moment. Thank you for your amazing soul.
_I've been injured myself. I lost someone very precious to me just a week ago. The pain I've been feeling is indescribable, I honestly never knew something this complex and agonizing could be felt._ _The first three days were the worst, outwardly speaking. I cried, grieved, regretted, hated, among other forms of emotional expression._ _Up until today, however, I've experienced something exceedingly worse than that. I've heard of emotional detachment before- emotional death, if you want to be hyper-literal- but I never thought I would experience something like that. The way I've been feeling is incomprehensible, almost a paradox in and of itself._ _I haven't been able to feel_ *_anything._* _I've tried dwelling on the negatives, my loss, and all of my regrets, and I haven't been able to muster more than a shred of emotion. At the same time, I've been grateful for it, I was grateful to have an escape from the pain. But that also made me feel guilty, though even that was dulled._ _It's a truly disgusting and appalling defense mechanism- especially when the person you lost was bound to you through deeply entwined spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical levels._ _I love dance. I don't practice it avidly myself, but I take great joy in watching others interpret music through dance- living out their passion and showing the world what it means to them. It's beautiful, mysterious, and absolutely astounding._ _And Paradox is one of my personal favorites. I came online looking for footage of him today. I wanted a reaction video, to see someone else's appreciation for him (as I feel he's severely under-appreciated in the reaction community), and that reaction brought me here._ _I'd never seen this performance before. It was entrancing, and it helped put my restless and chaotic collection of thoughts at ease. But Kevin's message at the end is what broke these last few days of emotional death for me, even but if for a moment._ _His words helped me realize that in spite of all my self hatred and anger with the world for what's happened, I made a genuine difference in this person's life while they were here. And they made one in mine. What we had together was life changing for the both of us- wonderful feelings and memories that lasted the both of our lifetimes._ _I can change my perspective thanks to this video and Kevin's passion and philosophies. I understand that it's okay to feel, and it's okay to be hurt. So long as I don't forget the good that came out of our bonds, and acknowledge that I_ *_did_* _make a genuine and lasting difference. My snowballs weren't thrown in vain._ _Thank you Kevin, for sharing this with us- with me. The snowball you threw here reached me, and it's made a difference in my life. Please don't ever stop._
This dude just sends chills down your spine. Powerful story man. Sorry for your loss. Thank you for being so vulnerable and making such a great impact.
I really like his style. He’s very lyrical. I know he can go hard too! This piece was everything! I’m new to him. Saw the battle of him & Larry of Les Twins & thought he’s arguably as good. N that battle coulda gone either way. But I saw his spirit on the side while he watched. He was clapping for the other guy. His energy was so refreshing. So I came to check out more videos. He’s got a new fan.
After seeing the video for the 100th time..I will stand now comment people of Dance community/world..Paradox remains my favorite dancer..he blinds so many styles together to make a piece of art..big up Homie!
@Kevinparadox thank you for everything you do and have done for the dance community. I am so sorry for your loss and please know that we see your love and her teachings in your movement. ✌️ and may the force be with you.
Wow... I was so waiting for a new Paradox video... Please Paradox don't stop dancing. I met you in Romania and.... Since then you've inspired me so much I'm such a better dancer! Thank you Paradox and Merry Christmas.
