This exactly what I wanted; I've been looking into a versatile modeler and the GE200 fit the bill perfectly. The EVH is my favorite amp and I'm glad to know that the Mooer is a decent contender (definitely prefer the EVH but my wallet doesn't.)
the next model ge 300 is coming so you might just wanna wait a bit. Don't get me wrong the ge 200 is a fantastic unit I pretty much only use that thing at home. Sound is great workflow with pc is great and IR compatability is great. The only thing I really feel the ge200 could've also used is an fx loop but that's bitching on a very high level.
lol was searching for real good sounds comparison for hours. This sold me on the GE 200. If anyone has any suggestions or experience with other pedals that sound better i would like to know. Otherwise this for its price is winner.
yep i got ge200 for tours and ge150 to record my ideas in my phone (otg function) and sound the same, but the ge200 its better because u can move the fx block and in the ge150 dont
cool but i wonder if you use the additional poweramp tube colour to match the ge200 little but more sizzle the real one has might be better? I know on mine switching the tube-type can really bring the shaping up a notch. I see on the video it looks like you have the cab disabled. Maybe upload the IR you're using directly to the GE200 and use play with the power tube settings on the GE200 to get it even closer.
What's the dsp like I'd love yo try the whammy effect and or pitch shifting but I know on the pod go that takes up half the dsp power before you pick the amp
@@AntonisKoumpari I'm sorry to keep on bothering you further, but I'm pretty new to using amp modelling pedals. How did you manage to import a ".wav" file on the Mooer? It didn't work out when I tried it earlier, since all of the files of presets on the mooer end with ".mo"
@@AntonisKoumpari yes of course. But I was not able to import wav files in there... They just were not shown in the window, when I clicked on 'import' in the software setup.
So you plugged your pre amp out into your interface. Into an IR in your daw. I’ve been asking around and hopefully you can clarify. Some people are saying you need to run your cab or else you’ll blow your tubes? Or have some sort of dummy load like a torpedo load box?
@@AntonisKoumpari Do you have any recommendations? I can't get a signal unless i crank my amp. Which defeats the purpose of recording in this method. I have it set up exactly how stated into some IR's. Would greatly appreciate any tips.
@@bobtheatog if you are about to connect it to your audio interface and then to your DAW then you probably already have active monitor speakers. they have already their own amps so they will take care amplifying the Mooer which is a pre-amp.
Thanks for your answer ! Didn't remember that Presence affects the power stage, and not the preamp. Amazing comparison anyway ! I have the GE200 myself, and it's an incredible piece of gear, especially for its price.

Dont buy it, sounds good for the power of the amplifier
Killer tone with both machines!!!
OOOOHHH I NOTICED THAT RIFF CLOUD CONNECTED VERY USEFULL VIDEO

Check out the ampero also
Dude your guitar playing and song choices are bloody top notch, I just purchased a second hand ge200 and can’t wait for it 🤘🤘🤘🤘
No differences on my phone speaker
I wonder why....
Close enough for the price. I'm assuming the 150 sounds the same.

I 've tried it, off matches it better as it should, because the amp doesn't have 2 power amps

Like for cloud connected riff
I run the ge200 to my amp and it doesn't sound anything like this...any suggestions?
Disable the Cab block, and plug it in the FX loop instead of the main input.
@@CarlosFuentes-dx1qi my amp doesn't have fx loop input...
Then set your clean channel the most flat possible and plug the ge200 into the main input, DISABLE THE CAB BLOCK
@@CarlosFuentes-dx1qi thank you brother,i ll try it!!
Sounds awesome! Can you upload your impulse somewhere? I'd like to add it to my Mooer Ge200
I used a Fredman Catharsis impulse, don't remember exactly which one
@@AntonisKoumpari okay, thanks!

Could you share the IR ure using with this??sounds great..;)🤗🤗🤗
google search catharsis fredman, they are free!
Are you able to do the 4 cable method and run an amp and cab, as well as run direct to the front of house, simultaneously?
no because there's no fx loop.

the presence doesn't do anything because I got the preamp out signal

ow Narnia riff 1:00
the real amp has more girth. no doubt.
Gojira!
Don't lock the door on me

You got so close to the real lamb of god tone
Sounds totally different in my opinion.
