Good show team NUNYA! Seriously, I'm grateful to see this young man honored and appriciated by parents that are VERY SMART. The world needs more Nunyas.
I ran juniors from 1994 till 1997 , track champion at Sunshine Drag strip 94,95,96,97, 1996 division 2 champ at us 19 drag strip. Won thousand cash race at the Lakeland strip, won Snowbird nationals in Bradenton, fun Ford in Bradenton , super Chevy I think that was Gainesville that year, won a dead on dial in award at the 96 nationals in Texas that year, 95 I was taken out in the final round at the nationals held in indy that year, plus I was 2 in points in Bradenton a couple times I think it was 95,an 96, was taken out final round at 97 division 2 championship held in rockingham that year, #2217 J/D, Fly-N-Ryan 8.90
That's a bit crazy. Now what I did was surf 25 foot waves for a decade starting at age 31! Mac in Guam Note there was an 8 year old girl that was killed in jr drag racing the other day.
A guy I've known since the 70's, his Son used to be the top Jr dragster in the Country, they own a Body Shop in Baltimore MD, which is called Moores Body Shop, his father passed away awhile back, now his Wife and Son runs the Body Shop, which his Sons name is Damien Moore. Have you ever heard of him? If you are really into Jr Dragster racing and have been doing it for awhile, then you've had to have heard of him. He's grown up now, he's about 20 something years old now.
Ohh that’s good my dad race at different locations but mainly Norwalk or Milan Dragway. He race pro mod and Im trying to get a jr dragster for myself because I love being at the track and I really want to race so that’s what we’re working on for me.

I run 7.90's at MIR, but I have been doing it for 5 years and have never seen someone have so much difficulty getting into the car. He needs the extensions after the helmet bars to make it easier to get in
U guys are lucky. It must be really expensive to do this. I have to rebuild my own motors and do mods that are free. You should Learn how to rebuild your own motor and it would be a lot cheaper and more fun.
I have a mini drag bike my fastest time was a 7.80 not bad since my motor started out as a 100.00 harbor freight motor I have less than 700.00 in it and the thing flies

Heavens to Murgatroyd you’re just an idiot you have to get a license before you can do this not a real one but one that is made for racing and these kids are likely not to fail do some research before being an idiot
what a dumb ass comment!! Without losing & failure there is NO value in success ... you must have grown up in the "everyone's a winner" generation of losers. Being exposed to such experiences can actually lead one in a very positive direction in life, career, education, self-esteem.
@The Scruffman Exactly, 50 years ago, I got a go-kart, learned about engines, mechanics, etc.. then raced karts, got my ass wiped,... but kept working my ass off mowing lawns & odd jobs to pay for my hobby... I kept improving for 2 years, then won the first of many track championships my 3rd year. Then went to Engineering school ... became an Automotive Engineer in Detroit, and now hold over 50 patents on components used in over 1/4 the cars on the roads today. A healthy progression from an inspiring hobby, is all very obvious to me .. while others chose to just wallow in excuses.
