I've been an FoH engineer for contemporary churches for nearly 10 years. You nailed it, my dude. I'm dead.
The barefeet...stop! 🤣 Every single thing about this is so spot on!
Once again you nailed it Alex. I love how acurate this is. As a worship leader this is spot on. Thanks for another great video.
Alex... thank you from the bottom my my heart. This was amazing. Almost tempted to send this to our music director and say... make it happen!
Soulful and ironically definitely more uplifting than I thought possible.
As a a Helix owner who plays through it on Sundays...I feel attacked! 🤣 Though after I got one, the other guitarist ditched his entire amp/pedalboard and picked one up as well!
I've been saying this feels like a worship song for years... thanks for making it happen!
The accuracy with this is amazing 😆
Some worship leader please find a way to get this into a worship service
"Key of deez nuts" almost killed me. One of the churches I played at was a lot like this. High School and college kids running worship might not have been the best idea the pastor had.
This does it, another series has been born again. I love how the sound guy muted the overheads. Awesome slapping video as always, Kudos for more Alex.
Intentional pun with the “born again?”
@@matthewdeemer579 sort of :D
Keeping the “keys” going brought back some memories. 😂
I hope this one blows up too so we can get more worship band covers. I was listening to Hero/Heroine at the beginning of the week wishing for more. The style is so spot on and all of your covers are absolute bangers!!
The worship prep is 150% spot on. I laughed so hard.
I LOVE IT. Much better produced than most church livestreams haha. Keep them coming, I want to show them to my band and production team for pointers! LOL
If you want it to be really authentic, gotta lower the video quality, camera changes when the operator isn’t ready, mess up the lyrics verbally, but include them on the screen like closed caption style… but then the lyrics person has to go to the wrong line, etc. I’ll say it again, it’s so funny how accurate this is. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS DUDE
Another praise drummer checking in, 18 years in the ministry, still putting in my IEMs.
Growing up in a smaller “mega” church, being the sound guy throughout high school, this is spot on and I love it.
“Is your compressor on??” 😂 heard that too many times as a bassist
Saying "Everyone seemed to love it" is an understatement!
THIS IS STRAIGHT AWESOME. I am NOT AT ALL ASHAMED to say I'm Christian and STILL love traditional worship and Christian music as well as mainstream music. What could be wrong about blending them together? Infact, blending them just makes new creations of GREAT MUSIC. Alex Melton is a TRUE MUSICIAN + UBER TALENTED.
Dude. This was insanely accurate but also … really freaking good too!
Everything about this was sooo on point! Incredible! You nailed it as always! 💯🔥
That song slaps too. I would I unironically listen to this lol
I hope y'all realize why there's no ads on any of Alex's videos, so he doesn't get hit with copyright and can keep pumping out these amazing songs. But he never ever misses and keeps nailing every concept he comes up with. Thank you, Alex, this is so fucking awesome.
I’m in tears 😂🤣 This is absolutely masterful. So true it hurts
This has to be one of the best and most accurate videos you've ever done, especially that outro lol. As a musician that's been on several worship teams, this is so freaking accurate, even down to the keys and service wrap up 😆. We need more of these 💯
