Tales Of The Unexpected brought me here, could not get over her beautiful eyes, and Joanna Lumley style voice. She plays 'Polly Knox' in a tale about being kind to others as you never know when the kindness will return you the favour. Lovely lady, and great actress. This lady is proof that personality, grace and staying humble is everything, just look at the responses and how many of us are in awe of her, and she's very quiet - you don't have to be loud to make a statement. The same couldn't and hasn't ever been said for someone like Beyonce for example...
I love you Eleanor Bron .. we were all standing around in a pub in West Coast Canada tonight and you came up and all of us remembered you and god amighty we all damn near fell on the floor with huge love for you, Irish, Lancashire, Yorkshire, me a London boy of 72 (wow, surprised I was slightly younger than you!) all of us would dearly love to take a run around the block with you one more time, thank you for giving us those wonderful years, your huge fan Bullus.
"If i fell in love with you".....and I did fell in love with you when I saw Help...I was 11. You might be older Eleanor...but you're still smart and beautiful.
I was watching a late 1970's or early 1980's episode of 'Tales of the Unexpected' recently and a lady appeared on screen who I found impossible to stop looking at due to her having very striking looks and screen presence. Well, I made a point of paying attention to the cast list at the end and needless to say that the lady in question turned out to be Eleanor Bron .Then a little bit of investigation on Wiki allowed me to find out that her name was actually the inspiration for Paul McCartney when he penned his classic Beatles song 'Eleanor Rigby' !
I might be the only one who only remembers her for the scene in which she struck Alan Bates (in "Women in Love") with a glass ornament, and Bates went out into the park with blood streaming down his forehead.
Oh, she is so very beautiful. I loved her so much in "Help!" :))) I wonder if her and Paul ever had a brief involvement. I do love the fact that she was the inspiration behind Eleanor Rigby. :))) I think it would've been interesting to see her and Cher in a film together as relatives.
I think she should go with Paul, because him and Nancy's age difference is too large apart. Eleanor was married to Cedric Price until his death but Eleanor still loves him, even if she did marry Paul.
I like Eleanor bron she very pretty the woman I like her she amazing actress been movie little princess I love the movie I like Eleanor she the best beautiful 🤩 💜 best the musical fantastic beastles best actress she very beautiful best eleanor bron
Isn't it amazing? No, really. Til now I'd never heard or seen Eleanor Bron interviewed, so it's a shock to see she is NOTHING like the harpies and brittle, bitter women who she usually played on screen.
she was a fantastic villian in a little princess..
She's so soft spoken and completely sane, intelligent. Nothing at all like the neurotic messes she plays so well on screen.
One of the most beautiful women, elegant and graceful, she's absolutely divine
Still a beautiful and elegant woman. I can say no more.
Neither can I. Classy and beautiful.
MrLeglamp that was a help reference! Very sharp!
Say no more.
Please, say no more.

Very classy, articulate person.
She had an affair with Lennon...

Wow! I love this woman. Not only very insightful and articulate but actually beautiful! I would date her in a heartbeat!
I was 14 when I first saw Bedazzled and thought how beautiful she was then and I'm 62 now and she's still beautiful.... Inside and out.
I have loved her since she appeared in a Beatles movie. I was 7 years old. I love her still.
The movie was “Help!”
Lennon loved her...many times...
Have always loved her, and even more so now. x
I have been a fan of the wonderful Eleanor Bron since the sixties. Thank you for posting this.
She nailed it right at the end!
"If i fell in love with you".....and I did fell in love with you when I saw Help...I was 11. You might be older Eleanor...but you're still smart and beautiful.

She is 83 now

She is unforgettable.
Yes, a unique talent.
She's got total Princess Diana vibes in this clip 😍
I've only seen her in 4 or 5 roles and she is one of my favorite actresses.
I am "Bedazzled"
I can't believe she is the lady who did the voice on BT! Took me 25 years to find out!
May I ask what BT (British Telly?) is? Thanks.
British Telecom - the phone company.
Clipstone Films Thx!
I might be the only one who only remembers her for the scene in which she struck Alan Bates (in "Women in Love") with a glass ornament, and Bates went out into the park with blood streaming down his forehead.
David, you are not alone. A memorable scene indeed. Thanks for reminding me.
Wish I had more memories of Eleanor Bron - we old-timers must stick together.
It was a lapis lazuli paperweight :-)
For ever gorgeous!
Thank you from Moscow
She is still very attractive. I loved her in the film bedazzled.
Heartbreaking to see her age. What a charming girl she was in Yes Minister.
A very relaxing voice and very graceful. Loved her in A little Princess
My first crush. Bless you, Dear One.

Apparently she had a dalliance with John Lennon at the time, not Paul... ;)

She's such a nice person. I love her as Patsy's mother in AB Fab. I know she's done more and I'm going to check her filmography.

Miss Minchin 😰
I wish she would get together with Paul and Ringo.
I honestly think she should go with Paul
@@lilmissrockchick4962 Paul is taken…
ha la Fama Mondiale perché ha fatto la signorina Minchin
She reminds me of Vanessa Redgrave. But she also strikes me as quite masculine - in her younger photos, I swear she looks transgender!
Pooey Not to me. There are many photos of her young. V feminine. Perhaps you mean in films or on telly.
We Jewish women are beautiful 😉
