@saturnGEEK Well, since the machines are limited by their human programmers, that wouldn't actually happen unless someone wanted it to. So what you need to watch out for isn't rogue robots, it's crazed programmers.
The voice is cute, and maybe even the way the robot looks, but the overall concept is disturbing. I'm always weirded out when people talk to non-human objects as if they are human (ventiloquist dummies, robots, etc.).

I'm sorry, they should get rid of the kids voice... I find that scary as hell... In "the nightmare on elm street" series I'm more unnerved by the summoning chant by children voices than the burnt, pedosexual killer that's Freddy Krueger.
