Love the channel too... have been watching a bunch of your videos!! Love how you go into the stores and show/teach about the ingredients!
Us lactose intolerant people need a special video with all your fave cheeses and nondairy products ie almond milk and things like that, pretty please 🙏🏾
There are lists of foods online arranged by the amount of lactose present. Generally, with cheeses, hard and aged cheeses are zero or low lactose while “fresh” or soft cheeses are high. For other firms of dairy, the higher the fat content, the lower the lactose. For example, heavy cream has much higher fat content than milk so would contain much less lactose. Each person varies so you might want to look for the charts showing lactose amounts in foods and experiment very slowly to see what your tolerance might be. You probably know a few things you can eat with no or few issues so you can use those as a jumping off place.
Kiya, I have found that oat milk has more substance to it than almond milk and coconut milk. It’s my go-to for me. And yes, aged cheeses have much lower/no lactose so sharp and extra sharp cheeses don’t make my stomach hurt. Parmesans that are aged are great too! My acupuncture gal recommended anything at least 12+ months aged is ok. Hope it helps, just my findings that help me 😊
You didn't mention the Kerry Gold butter rich in beta carotene because it's made from grass fed cows. Also, if you have hunger on a keto diet, you can put a pad of this butter in your coffee in the morning and the cravings will go away. It's the best tasting butter I have ever tried as well.

They had it at the Aldi’s near me as well. The container at Alidi’s was 16oz for $23.00. I stocked up when it was on sale, for 5.00 off at Costco a couple of months ago.
You’re saying to load up on olive oil but my understanding is buy small bottles because once you open it, it doesn’t stay good for long. That’s a large bottle you are showing. I wouldn’t use that much in 2 years time. Unless you have a very large family you wouldn’t use that much for a long time.
Hey Bobby, I noticed when you were in the refrigerated section of the milk section, Costco sells the A2 brand of milk with comes from cows that carry the A2 protein unlike milk from the industrial which carries the A1 protein which causes stomach discomfort.
This was a great video for those like me who get overwhelmed at all of the products cycling through your videos - I'm only one person and I can't buy them all lol. So it's great to go back to basics and see the staples you love!!
One thing to consider is that the amount of olive oil in the container is so much, that you need to figure out if you are using it soon enough before it turns rancid. The smaller Kirkland olive oil would be the way to go if you aren't using it like you're running a restaurant.
Or if you make your own salad dressings... But even if you only used half of the bottle, that would be the same amount of oil as the smaller bottle for $2.50 less. Maybe find a friend and decant half into a bottle for them?
I only decant a bit at a time into a glass bottle with a pouring spout. The rest stays in a cool, dark cabinet. I've been buying this for years and NEVER had it go rancid.
Regarding sea salt just heard that most sea salt has plastic in it... makes sense since the sea has a lot of plastic in the water. So, ancient salts like pink Himalayan are the ticket if you want to reduce the amount of plastic you are consuming...

We have to get over this notion that "almond flour" is healthy. A handful of almonds a few times a week seems to be a net benefit to human health because of the unique micronutrient profile they bestow, but when you start making voluminous baked goods meant to stand in for traditional wheat-based breads and rolls and buns and cakes, you're eating the equivalent of hundreds of almonds at a time, you're getting a HUGE bomb of oxalates that's several times higher than what the body can safely process in a day, plus a big dose of the very same linoleic acid that is the primary reason Bobby tells us all to avoid "vegetable oils" a.k.a. seed oils. If you really need to have breads and crackers as a component of your healthy diet and want a faux wheat flour type of ingredient to use to make gluten-free breads and crackers, COCONUT FLOUR is the way to go. Very low in oxalates, very low in linoleic acid, very high in fiber and healthy fatty acids. It's more challenging to cook and bake with, but it just takes some experimentation. Get on RUclips and search for recipe videos for coconut flour breads and crackers, try them out, compare, and tweak. Nuts in general are not things that the plants which produce them want us to eat... they are the OFFSPRING of that plant, and thus are highly defended by the plant's biology, both physically in terms of having a hard shell to make them resistant to predation, and also chemically in terms of having a bunch of defense chemicals meant to make the insects/animals that eat them sick and feeble so they eat fewer of the plant's babies. Coconuts are a unique exception to this pattern in nature, at least from the standpoint of dietary value for humans, because the plant defends its babies/seeds (coconuts) primarily by concentrating its defense chemicals in a tough rind that separates the nut from the environment, which humans can easily cut away and discard. Most other plants bearing nuts, including almonds, concentrate their defense chemicals not only in the shell and skin of the nut but in the 'meat' of the nut itself.

From what I know, certainly in the north of ireland(or northern ireland) the grain fed to cows is not gmo. Gmo agriculture was banned in 2019. Hope it helps.
Quick question. I was using pink Himalayan salt until my daughter started to pass out. Her pediatrician told me that it was because she wasn't getting enough iodine?😮..is that true? I have several bottles of Himalayan salt but since I was told I should use white regular salt, I stopped using it. I honestly would like to go back to use pink Himalayan but I'm hesitant because of what happened to my daughter.
When you read the ingredients list, There is a difference Between whole corn/whole grain corn and simply...corn. If something is listed as whole corn or has the whole grain, this means it has both the bran and the endogerm so you get nutrients from the grain. If it's simply corn, the it is a refined grain, striped of the bran and endogerm.

Following your FB videos, love the Costco tips. I recently moved 35 miles away from Costco / Orlando. So Sad for me. Also belong to Survivor Covid Group on FB. Recommend You take a look as many Need and Want a diet related to the Long Haulers / esp. when dealing with Antiinflammation foods. Diet of course is so important with this New World Crisis we are facing. New Beginnings. Thanks.
Love your Costco videos. They are so helpful.
Great video, can you do a review on:
Aussie bites & coconut cluster snacks (sell at coscto)
Also aldi pasteurized milk?
Any good Celtic salt at costco?
Can you also redo spices? Where to buy & starting out what 10-15 spices we need & some diy spice combo mixes we can make from it:
Indian, Greek, mexican/tacos, all purpose, carribean spices, cajun spice run blends...would love these videos...like if you agree :)
Thank you, have a nice day.
MORE Costco videos 💕💪🏽💕💪🏽💕💪🏽💕💪🏽
Costco is also my happy place! I wish you could add Costco Kirkland dog food. Excellent price and quality. Have you ever covered the dog food at costco?
Bobby, don’t you miss Chicago? As always, great content and info.
Bobby please find out why Costco is discontinuing Lakanto Monkfruit in the 8.99 bag!! That has been a healthy alternative to sugar and I use it all the time !!! Please check out why!! They sell a boat load at my store so I don’t understand why it has been discontinued..Thx Bobby
There's a semi-local chain called Grocery Outlet that sells those 1lb bags for $6. I find it to be not nearly as sweet as the turbinado sugar I normally buy, but it has its uses.
Nooo are they really? I gotta stock up on it then
I love the Dubliner cheese... On crackers with sliced peaches.
Collagen Peptides sometimes goes on sale; I add it to my coffee
I am interested in Costco's bison meat
I also love Nut Pods' coconut & almond creamer (3pk for $9.99)... I add Sports Research' MCT Oil to my coffee as well... All at Costco :)
Oh, and just bought the Pink Himalayan Salt... So good, love the grinder, and no plastics in this salt. Pink salt is full of essential minerals :) :) :)
I was introduced to Dubliner with a slice of Honeycrisp apple in a little white paper medicine cup -- a sample.
Is there any really good salt that is iodine-free??? I’m highly anaphylactic/allergic to iodine
I'm so disappointed that my Costco doesn't carry grass fed beef of any kind. Otherwise I love the variety of healthy choices. Thanks for all the pointers.
I saw Vital Proteins at Aldi the other week. Will have to compare pricing.
They had it at the Aldi’s near me as well. The container at Alidi’s was 16oz for $23.00. I stocked up when it was on sale, for 5.00 off at Costco a couple of months ago.
organic milk is cheaper at trader joes, whole foods, and aldies
You’re saying to load up on olive oil but my understanding is buy small bottles because once you open it, it doesn’t stay good for long. That’s a large bottle you are showing. I wouldn’t use that much in 2 years time. Unless you have a very large family you wouldn’t use that much for a long time.
Hey Bobby, I noticed when you were in the refrigerated section of the milk section, Costco sells the A2 brand of milk with comes from cows that carry the A2 protein unlike milk from the industrial which carries the A1 protein which causes stomach discomfort.
It was always my understanding that all Irish cows were grass fed as they have very mineral rich soil so grass gives them everything they need
This was a great video for those like me who get overwhelmed at all of the products cycling through your videos - I'm only one person and I can't buy them all lol. So it's great to go back to basics and see the staples you love!!
Hi Bobby can you do another meal prep for weight loss video please?
Don’t freeze the Kerigold cheese. I did and when it thawed it crumbled.
yes i saw your video and bought it and the new salt you mention👌🏼
@@mecmaneen how many years does it last you ?
@@jkco4300 I usually finish it in 6 mos or so. And I cook for myself and my 15 yr old man-child.
@@mecmaneen I (solo) haven't either, but I, too, wonder... I keep it in an opaque bag in the seldom-opened cabinet.
Thank you for the good tips
Just wanted to confirm, as an Italian, the greatness of Parmigiano...truly the king of cheese. A piece of advice, eat it plain!
Regarding sea salt just heard that most sea salt has plastic in it... makes sense since the sea has a lot of plastic in the water. So, ancient salts like pink Himalayan are the ticket if you want to reduce the amount of plastic you are consuming...
Love this info! Does Costco require a mask in Florida?
Yes, they do...
Every store and business in south Florida has a mask mandate. We never stopped wearing masks, even now.
Kirklands grass fed sometimes taste old.
I appreciate you so much! I thank God for you and your family. Teaching us to buy healthy foods is priceless. ☺️💥🤸♀️💜
I think this dude might be better then thomas delauer
Hi~ I'm new to your channel (as in as of this video) but I like the way you don't just say "This is a good product" but explain what's good about it as well as how it compares to others. I've Liked, I've Subscribed, and I look forward to a lot of great vids from you! THANK YOU for what you do!
Bobby, why don’t you buy the organic free range eggs from Costco? And where do you buy your chicken and meat at?
Thank you for helping me create my shopping list for Costco.
Great job 👍👍
I just found your channel. I saw the one about olive oils, good to know that the brand Kirkland from Costco is good. Question, why you wouldn't buy the organic eggs from Costco? Thanks!
Great video Bobby as always. Sad that Baba is going back to Bulgaria.
6.49 for 5 lbs pink salt , you can get 1 lb for $1 dollar pink salt at dollar tree , if your frugal
Like me , Bobby approved this salt
In one of his videos
8:46 PLEASE tell me how you take this? It tastes awful and if you mix it with your tea 🍵 or coffee ☕️ makes your beverage taste awful as well. The benefits are wonderful but I’m having a TERRIBLE time swallowing this thing due to the incredibly gross flavor 🤮 🤢
Hi Flavcity! And Brad! I have the Costco Himalayan Salt and just a very light sprinkle on top on food, and I'm good! The Pili Nuts are a good idea for Mothers Day! 🌺 I just put some Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in my green tea- pretty good! Those Siete chips with the avocado oil in them are the way to go, for me! The tomatoes from Nini are definitely something I will have to try! And I will also miss seeing Baba cook wonderful meals for everyone! Thank goodness that she'll return!! Take care! 💕☮
Thank you! Cinco de Mayo around the córner🇲🇽
I'm always amazed to find Costco outside the US.
Costco is so overwhelming to me! I appreciate this video. It's so helpful!!
I’ve been avoiding wines and olive oil from California because I’ve read they have residue of glyphosate - is that true?
Hey, what's the best vegan food for lowering blood pressure? Thanks and love the videos.
From what I know, certainly in the north of ireland(or northern ireland) the grain fed to cows is not gmo. Gmo agriculture was banned in 2019. Hope it helps.
yeah yeah.. love the costco happy place vids. always learn something!!!
What would we do without you! 💜
How many carbs per serving would you use ? Love your videos very informative and I agree that in a few years the next pandemic is going to be diabetes
Bobby your my best shopping-buddy’s ever!!!! Thank you.
Literally love this guy
Costco also just raised their price on Kirkland pecorino Romano wedge . Still a great price for a great healthy aged cheese.
WOW! I’m s glad that I found your Channel! 2022 is going to be the year I try to get my health back!! Thanks sooo much!♥️👍👏
100% grass fed beef patties aren’t available nationwide :(
costco organic milk have fish oil in it
I have a question, if I’m doing. A fry, which oil should I use for more health but also a budget friendly aswell. Seeking to do a fish fry.
You can use olive oil but I use avocado oil for heart better
I would say avocado oil because it burns better. Go to vistco
You mentioned the eggs, and that you don't buy them but not why?
When you read the ingredients list, There is a difference
Between whole corn/whole grain corn and simply...corn. If something is listed as whole corn or has the whole grain, this means it has both the bran and the endogerm so you get nutrients from the grain. If it's simply corn, the it is a refined grain, striped of the bran and endogerm.
Bobby, you by pass another terrific extra virgin olive oil by Costco, the KIRKLAND EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL TOSCANO from Tuscany Italy. What makes it special above the others is the harvest date fall 2020. It's origin is a single source region. Also, in a dark glass bottle to keep it fresh.
