I never messed with HIDs, I straight swapped from stock halogens to LEDs, if y'all looking for another great brand look into Lasfit, they stock all types of bulbs for all types of cars for a great price, I have them all over my cars inside and out
Its not that theyre bright. Theyre aiming up at them. You have to adjust them and aim them down. When you install led headlights the leds that light up in the bulb have to be side by side. Lit up like a regular bulb. If the leds lit up are top and bottom they shine your high beams. Have to rotate the bulb so that the leds on the bulb that are lit up are side by side
It's your day time running light system bro that was messing with your lights. I was having the same issue and even worse it was flickering like crazy! Look up inside your fuse box inside the engine bay, can't remember from top of my head which ones they are but if you take out those two fuses it disables your day time running lights.
Nice lookin truck. Did u focus the angle of the bulbs? Once u do that, you'll notice a huge lighting difference. Or just do the led projector retrofit for ur low and high beam. They'll look like ur truck has low eye lids.

You shoud have test them at the same place, hids you test them with a street light on! Leds you rest them in a pitch black road! Can't really tell the difference
