Make the 3 pointer off limits until 2 minutes remaining in each quarter. Don't allow rest days for players. Instead, they go on the 15 day IL if they are that tired. Granted, if they play 1 second, then they will still be considered "active."
Agree with Mike 100% concerning the NBA and the 3pointer. I haven't watch the NBA In more than 15 yrs. The NBA has become pure enterainment with just who can make the spectatular 3 pointer . Unwatchable sport.
The solution is in this video. Enough with the 3's. Bad shooting, no contested rebounds, no strategy. Every single team plays the same way and its terrible. They prob need to make the court bigger considering guys these days are huge and the court is still the same size its always been. That way they can move the 3 point line back and you wont see as many shots from there as you do now.
@NothingToPointOut24 you need a team to structure itself as a lethal mid range team like the celtics and lakers of the 80s that punishes teams for taking too many Threes
i think luis robert is the guy to target, he coming off a bad year so his trade value is low. and at his peak hes a 35+ home run , 850 ops guy. play him in left. bellinger at 1st. also yandy diaz at third makes a lot of sense
Let's hope Bellinger thrives as Yankee hitting in the left hand friendly stadium. Cashman has more work to do. We need a 1st baseman with pop and who is a good fielder, and 3rd baseman, unless Ballinger plays 1st, in that case we need another outfielder. The problem with the roster last season, was it was way too heavy in talent and salary at the top, with little production after the 4th-5th spot in the lineup. The Yankees got very little production out of 1st base, 3rd base, or left Field last season.
I think the problem with the NBA is not the 3 pt shot, but the lack of defense. They stopped playing defense years ago. Also, call the games by the rules. Stop letting players get away with traveling and carrying the ball. Call it enough and they'll stop.
Love St John’s. Every team is good after turnovers. But Johnnie’s are not efficient turning a rebound into a layup or delayed break three. Luis and Richmond need to incorporate that in their game.

If the NBA wants some fan interest in the Cup, it would let the positioning of it determine the draft order. Players still wont give a crap, but fans would. I know for sure that Bucks fans would be a hell of a lot more excited this morning if they knew they were getting the 1st overall selection in the draft rather than the players getting what most of em get as a game check.
@@shiznitshnitzel4 Cause the "best picks" sure seem to be helping out the worst teams right? The NBA draft is more of a crapshoot now than at any point in history anyways. The bottom line is this is about generating interest in a pointless tournament, in a league where the ratings are terrible. Maybe the players getting game checks as prizes will continue to be a reason to cheer, for you.
@NothingToPointOut24 i dont care about the nba cup or the nba in general at this point. Your idea is horrible tho. And you contradict yourself in this response. If draft picks are a crapshoot as you claim, then why would that motivate players or teams or fans to care? The rules need to be changed. It's a 3 point shooting contest every night. To mitigate, they need to move the 3 point line back significantly, by literally 7 or 8 feet and expand the size of the court. The other option is to limit the amount of 3 point attempts per quarter by each team to 5. Resting guys for no reason is another big issue. Unless specific and reasonable medical evidence is provided, if a player is rested for a game (doesn't play at least 75% of his season's average in minutes), then that player should be required to miss the next 4 games. Stars need to play every night. If they don't care, then why should I? Finally, players and coaches, and this goes for all sports, should NEVER spew their nonsense political opinions. Sports is entertainment and a distraction from the real world. Just because the platform is there doesn't mean it should be used as a form of political propaganda from the most unqualified minds.

@JohnSmith-ds1fm Mike tunes into Hockey in the playoffs
Bring in Giambi.
Why are you whispering?
Do you think Ryan McMahon will meet Vincent Kennedy McMahon for dinner before the Yanks trade for him. And what connections do you have to introduce your sons to Lou Carnaseca
He was referring to the gym that they named after Lou and Mike graduated from St. John’s
Why is Mike subscribers are so low?
I feel like it will grow, I find the podcast very entertaining and interesting.
I'm dead serious. I would love for Mike to run for President
You can count out Baltimore Mike. Lamar Jackson sucks in the playoffs. And the Defense is not good. It’s Buffalo’s year.
i love my man mike cause he speaks facts only, he doesn’t let emotions dictate his takes like that bozo Sal! loll
LOL
Vince McMahon would be a nice option to play third base for Yankees from Colorado Rockies
"smoke and mirrors" Mike Tomlin finally lost. Couldn't pull the 🐇 out it of the 🎩 this time. 😆
Mike is SO SUPERIOR to any other sports guy--been listening to him literally since the 1980's--gets a little opinionated some times--but he's the best!!
Mike is out of his mind. The Eagles are way overrated. He brags about their passing game. They’re passing game sucks. I’m not even a fan but the best team in the NFC is Minnesota. Total balance. They would destroy Philly and will beat Detroit. Made a lot of cash on minny
Basketball blows
Nobody cares about St. Johns
NBA has turned into a clown show. Nothing can be done to fix it unless the owners grow a pair and stand up to the man baby players.
Soto leaving was a blessing in disguise or they wouldnt be getting these other good players
There is no salary cap in baseball
Imagine posting this comment. Especially after Mike explained why Soto got the money he did. He’s basically a modern day Mickey Mantle.
Yet Soto's WAR alone is better than all three players combined lol
@@GinNBoosthitting only bcuz his defense sucks and the mick was a great defensive player
Josh Naylor
The NBA is trash. You couldn't pay me to go to a game.
I really like what cashman is doing i think he is really taking it back to basics and is showing what he truly learned from stick this is plan that stick would have formulated to the tee
Love St John’s. Every team is good after turnovers. But Johnnie’s are not efficient turning a rebound into a layup or delayed break three. Luis and Richmond need to incorporate that in their game.
