I love that you don't keep your hair under wigs and in weaves. It's the main reason I follow you. Love your channel!!!!!

I love that too. Once I successfully grow my hair to armpit length, imma ditch my wigs and weaves(to the bearest minimum at least). What's the essence of growing my hair when I can't flaunt it openly? Lol

    1. Hot oil treatments on scalp and massage for 1/2 hours (castor oil/others)
    2. Avoid direct heat eg flat iron/blow dryer
    3. Track hair progress with pictures
    4. Trim hair often
    5. Keep your hair moisturised especially in dry/winter seasons
    6. Sleep with satin bonnet or scarf
    7. Be consistent in hair routine

Girl my grandma used natural boiled coconut oil and castor oil in my hair when I was a kid and my god my hair was like Dianna ross. Those oils alone is naturally good for scalp and hair. First time on this channel love it.

Thanks so much for the tips and your hair is growing beautiful!! I noticed the length retention with my hair since I stopped flat ironing in 2020 on my wash days. You are absolutely right about straightening your hair when it's already straight lol! My hair looks great even without the flat iron. I do just about everything else you mentioned besides hot oil treatments! I need to start back doing them as they are an added bonus to your hair care regimen.

I noticed extreme growth when I started using 'wild growth oil' its difficult to tell how much it is grown because my hair is curly wavy but I noticed a difference compared to last April. I can see the thickness as before my hair was very thin and curls was limp, but curly. I also stretch my retouch time.
