Thank you so uch for all you both are doing. You said... "Men learn from you how to treat you." Enquiring minds would like to know, please... Does this still work in marriage? Is there a way for him to relearn or for her to reteach after years of being married? Thank you
Wise answers as usual. The question still remains about non-Christian marriages though. Many, if not most work through the conscious or unconscious application of principles and through storms that Christian marriages sadly do not withstand. The same goes for interfaith marriages. I'd still like clarity on this area.
Whether you're Christian or not, if you follow some good principles, your marriage can be great, just like non-believers can succeed by working hard. Similarly Christians who don't put effort into their marriages won't have a good one. While Jesus desires prosperity in all aspects of our lives, His primary purpose wasn't centered on marital success or earthly success. Prior to when Christ came, people had successful marriages. To address an atheist's successful marriage, the key lies in sharing the gospel, acknowledging that while earthly success is possible without Christ, eternal life requires a connection with Jesus. It is indeed possible to gain the whole world and still lose your soul. Please note this is not to say as Christians we shouldn’t prioritize having godly marriages because marriages outside of Jesus works also. Not at all, as Christians our goal and view of marriage is different from the world. Like Pastor Mildred will say Christian marriages are for ministry.
Honestly he’s just trying to make his point that there’s no point believing in God because he’s following the principles that God already put in place in universe and it really funny to me that he’s somehow trying to convince people there’s no God
