Thank you so much for this teaching even though l am old in marriage l never heard this way you both are great councilors in marriage continue please in this teaching
My Role model to talk about anywhere i go, most times people usually ask me who is this pastor Kingsley okonkwo i like talking about ! I just smile and ask them to go on RUclips and search for him, And most times the come thank me later for the messages
On the joint account point, I want a joint account for bills, groceries, house needs, etc; another joint account for savings; then an account for me as a wife to buy my personal stuff, and an account for him as a husband to buy his personal stuff. And we’ll agree on what percentages of our income should go into these four accounts in total. Speaking as a single lady, waiting for God to send me on my marriage assignment soon. Thank you Lord!
What about your retirement and investing for the future. Savings gets depleted. You have to invest so the principal multiples. As a single woman start doing those savings and investing now and look for a man who is doing the same. Never get with a financially illiterate man they will spend their money and yours too. If a man has no bank account but walk around with substantial amount of money in his pocket is heading for pauper street. People who are financially literate don't walk around with loads of cash.
@@eileenwatt8283 I already have retirement and investments covered. He can add to it depending on what he is coming into the marriage with. The more the merrier.
After marriage I suggested a joint account to my hubby but his response was no. His reason was that I don't work and he can't be the only one putting money into the account. He said to wait until I get a job. Few months later, he saw my prospect of earning good money and asked me to open a joint account. So I asked him why he had a rethink over his previous decision but he said no reason. Then I said I am no longer interested. I said if you don't have a reason then I don't think it's a good decision. Simple and short. Selflessness should be mutual in marriage. Selfishness should be out of the question. One good deed deserves another and vise versa. Marriage or not. Only then will a selfish person have a rethink. If you keep letting go of bad attitudes and forgive all the time. Positive change can never happen.
AFTER LISTENING TO YOUR TEACHING, I FELT LIKE I JUST ACQUIRED A NEW CERTIFICATE. AND NOW I WANT TO GET INTO THE WORK ZONE TO APPLY THE WISDOM ACQUIRED. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH PASTOR KINGMIL
I never regret the day I come across pastor Kingsley and pastor Mildred online . You have been a great blessing to me Every of their teaching always come at the right time for me. God bless your home
God bless you PK & PM, a big thanks for the teaching. I'm not married but finances in marriage was something I wasn't quite clear about, somehow I used to think it had to be 50-50. But tonight I have gained a new paradigm and I'm willing to go 100 for love.
Can I ever be tired of PK and PM ministration. Each video is a whole big bag full of lessons to learn. Thanks so much Sir and Ma for been a blessing to us. I'm really learning alot following u. And the lessons learnt has improved my life alot.
West africans you're so blessed with well acquainted articulate persons with d wisdom of transforming societies,Really l thank the invetors of technology for bringing us closer,am blessd based in East Africa -uganda
This was an amazing teaching and I was tremendously blessed by it. Thank you for allowing GOD to use your family as an example of the godly standard. GOD bless your home forever.
Wow! I have been waiting for this topic for a long time. Thank you Pastor K & Pastor M. I’m actually like Pastor M. It’s good to hear how both of you handled money in your family given that one is a saver and the other a spender. This is good stuff. 😊🙏🏾
My understanding of joint account was, it is one account where all money from both parties in the marriage is put; it appears that nobody including myself are into joint account, a joint account for projects is perfect
POWERFUL Ps Kingsley and Ps Mildred, I am sharing the link with anyone I believe needs this wisdom that I have learnt, thank you servants of God for this service 🙏🏽🙏🏽God bless you ❤️
Questions to ask your partner about finances 1)Where do you spend your money? 2) How does the money belong to? 3) Who determine how the money is spent? 4) If for any reason, the person lose their income, what would you do? 5)What is your view on your partner's spending 6)Who is better with money? 7) Who pays the bill ? 8) When you are giving away money? Who decides 9) What type of account in your relationship Notes i) God is my source ii) God expects us(men and women)to work with the blessings released on us iii)Marriage is not 50-50. Don't look marriage as a covenant and not contract. Laying down everything to your partner iv) Be financially responsible(dony be a waster) iv)Don't live beyond your means v)Be on same page with your partner vi)Save for your projects
Wow.. Profound revelations 🔥 Thank you so much Pastor PK and PM for these great message! Very timely too. Sharing this video with all my amazing family and friends 🥰💜 God bless you both 🙏
They’ve done some teachings on that already. What marriage is and what marriage is not. If you subscribe to both of their channels, you’ll see the past videos.
I'm blessed with this. At least I've realized my financial habit and also learnt so many things. You're a true blessing to our generation. God bless you 🙏🙏
Pastor K and Pastor M, thank youuuu so much!!! So many important things to learn here. I particularly love the point about contentment being great wealth.
You two are great counselors' .I am really learning from your wisdom and experiences. God richly bless you both. Pastor K and Pastor M please consider coming to Ghana
That's so true. I tell women not to look for rich man. Women would have more peace if they earn their own money and invest it. It's surprising how much trauma and suffering women eliminate from their lives if they follow self sufficient. It's so sad when a woman have to rely on a man for allowance. He who controls the purse controls the other. A lazy partner is a liability to the relationship. Don't be a liability be an asset.
Thank you for this lessons. I got them just in time to save my marriage and my spending habits. Waiting for next one....that one you keep saying we meet tomorrow 😅 please post it here we have a listen ...😅😅
Pastor I'm reckless ooo 😭😭😭I really really need this teaching and can I stop by in church to get some of these materials. moreover I'm not married but I pray and I'm preparing for a great marriage.i have the most amazing relationship with one of the most amazing women in the world and she's financially stable but I'm struggling to meet up cause of financial issues.
This is great 😃 ... I've been looking forward to your teaching on finance cos This is an issue that has wrecked homes. But I have a question, some things don't seem to add up. How was it possible that you both ran a joint account from the beginning and pastor M was still able to save? And she always had money. Does that mean she had some money aside from the beginning when you guys were having a joint account. Cos I followed the message closely and I understand it's of recent she started having some "flexing money" which I believe is very important for a woman. Please I need a little clarification here. Cos I've seen cases where having a joint account did more harm than good. Thank you
woow..this is full of wisdom. Thank you Sir and ma. I have a question about the Joint account and spending money. i think i understand that spending money is for personal use..like anything youd like to buy for yourself or your wife, then what is the use of the joint account? I feel it should be for stuffs like lands, cars, rents, kids, both shopping etc..If im right, Pst Mildred mentioned that Pst Kay wanted to buy a land and she added from her savings. Please can you shed more light? it sounded like he wanted to buy the land from his personal savings and she added for him from her personal savings too.
In this day and age, money is also life, especially when children from previous marriage is involved. Better to get a man whom I'm in agreement with. Prenup is required to protect my children's legacy, especially the first 30 years of second marriage. I consider money is like a powerful rottweiler, the handler needs to train the dog well, and most importantly be the Master of rottweiler (money). If we never lived together before marriage, how to know the man's money habits 100%? We only know 50% after marriage, and we know the other 50% when he/she gets retrenched or lost in investments/retirement savings. The true colours only show out after 10-20 years. So have a prenup, have family joint acc, have indiv accounts for both parties. If I can trust him when he goes to work in the office and not cheat with his clients, I should also trust him when he has his indiv account?
Thank you so much for this teaching even though l am old in marriage l never heard this way you both are great councilors in marriage continue please in this teaching

God forbid u remain single.
