I actually prefer your audio quality to the “fancy” people. I thoroughly enjoy the loud volume and white noise aspect of your videos. I think it makes it feel more like “real life” asmr and not like I’m sitting watching a video.

Can't please everybody I guess. I've had a lot of complaints over the white noise, and then people saying they don't mind it. And now some people actually prefer it? :D Would be great to have some clear cut statistic over which one to use. :)

this video sounds more focused on your voice. I never minded the white noise - if anything it probably was more relaxing.

neighbour,dog,car,guy taking out the trash a couple blocks away , please finn, this is the best sounding asmr place because the realness of it :'C
I like the volume of your videos. It allows people to watch without ear buds or they can turn it down if need be. I've watched several ASMR artists who have their volume to low and I cant get tingles because I'm struggling to hear them.
Been watching since your first video - don't change your sound! It's awesome as it is.
The Audio is perfectly fine. People just complain about that because when they watch ASMR they have the volume to the highest, thinking that ASMR is of course the ultimate relaxation aid with volume having nothing to do with it but enhancing it. Little do they know having any kind of noise blasting in your ears is not relaxing by default. I keep the volume on the quieter side and I've fallen asleep to your normal videos (your channels aren't that different ASMR-wise).
You don't need to waste your money on an $1000+ microphone and camera. It's not like your content is supposed to be anything too cinematic anyway. It would be a complete waste of money, and you said yourself you wouldn't want to expend all your time and effort into it if you didn't have to. People just need to learn to adjust their volume and if you can hear white noise than that's just a sign that your volume is louder on it's own, not that white noise is even disrupting to an ASMR video.
Also, what do you think of the new Smash? are there any characters you want to get in specifically?

I prefer the way your videos sound and the white noise, my go to ASMR channel. Hopefully u don't change it up too much

Also the sound quality is perfect imo, i'm not really sure what you're talking about but i love that background noise when its all silent
I like the slight white noise. It seems more natural, somehow? The really clean audio can be nice but sometimes I focus too much on it, because it is so clean and sharp. New audio settings seem solid. Don't ever change.
Also Forsaken has been amaaaaazing. I wish we could game together 😁 this new DLC makes up for the last year of crap.

I personally enjoy your audio from before. The white noise was super nice. Also hardbites chips are not that fantasic where I live and they have even stranger flavours.

You sound is great. I agreed with you before that your volume was so high that i just bring down volume on my end and you cant hear much white noise at all

I have no problem with you audio! The only thing that bothers me is when the wrappers / bags / containers are too loud, which is somewhat often. It usually doesn't last long but it's enough to snap me out of what I'm hearing. Thanks again for the great videos!
your audio is great. having a bit of room tone is important for asmr as it keeps it organic. When the audio is too good it sounds like you are in their mouth and is annoying. this white noise level is perfectly acceptable.
Can still hear the white noise clearly. I think I prefer the way it was. A little suggestion if you do decide to go down the separate audio track route, it's not quite as daunting as you might think. Don't get me wrong, it's still longer to edit, but you can sync up the audio track quite easily by just clapping a few times in front of the camera and matching it up with your audio spikes on the track. Say clap 3 or 4 times with a few pauses. Easy to sync up then.
Yes, there is still noise, but it's a lot less than before. Would you prefer the audio in this video over the old ones?
And sure, I know it's not difficult to sync, but it would still mean I'd have to get a separate microphone/recorder, import two files instead of one and find a new free editing software (using Windows's own).
@@finngamerASMR I prefer the louder volume personally, but you can't please everyone. The white noise is never something that bothered me. You should go with what the majority think though. There are plenty of free software options for editing, but it's all down to time. Do you have the time to put in to do learn the software, the money to buy the extra equipment etc and do you even want to go down that route? I personally liked your videos and think they have charm that even high quality audio ASMR-ists don't have. It's up to you in the end, but it would definitely be a time and money commitment.
Hi Finngamer, just gotta chime in and say your audio quality is and always has been superior to most other ASMR channels. I can't say this video is much better or worse. The white noise has never been an issue for me; I like a little white noise. Low volume is a huge problem on most other channels so don't sacrifice your volume over white noise. FantasyASMR has incredible sound quality so if you haven't checked out her channel you might have a look over there; she's the only one I think has better sound quality than yours. Her videos where she goes through some mythology books are really good; really clean sounds on those.

Hi finngamer. I was planning on going to japan at sometime soon too, had a few questions.
Did you go by yourself before? How was that? Any suggestions for if you just go there by yourself?
I know a couple friends who were exchange students there that id meet up with but thats about it.
Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated :)
I've went twice by myself, and once with my girlfriend. Both have it's benefits! It is of course nice to be able to share the experiences with someone, but traveling alone is quite liberating. You can spend exactly as much (or little) time as you want on each attraction, eating just happens by your decisions instead of "where do you want to go" every time, etc.
Google the top 10 places that you need to visit, but leave some days for just exploring!
@@finngamerASMR how did you find the language barrier especially by yourself? And eating out? Was it relatively smooth experience or how did you approach that? Any major suggestions? Im a gamer like yourself so akhihabara is a must for sure, but in general any other places to see?

I do enjoy your vlogs, but I also would love if you could just describe or I think maybe introduce the candy a little bit. Because my attention shifts anyway play if i watch and you grab the candy. To me it feels somewhat incomplete without it. In your single meal or single snack videos not at all though. Of course I understand there's not MUCH to say about it, but we're tasting this through you man :) Either way though thank you - for doing this in whichever way feels right to you
