The sea almost got David there! Thanks for being honest about the limited things to do in the islands. The scenery from the fort was incredible. And I'd love to see the GoT thone, so cool!! Those Old Town views are stunning 😍 I love taking little day trips too.
Came across your channel a couple days ago. So glad I found it! You visit such beautiful places, and give such great details! Your videos are so very informative! I’ve watched four videos of the Balkan region. We plan to visit the area and stay in Montenegro for six nights, but would love to do a one day trip to Dubrovnik. Would you suggest a couple ideas to get there? I’ve been reading that the full coach/bus experience is a nightmare. Ride lasting 4 1/2 hours. Are there one day guided tour pkgs? We also thought about breaking up our trip and doing four nights in Montenegro and two nights Dubrovnik. Maybe it’s worth a little inconvenience of checking in and out for that short period of time! Then just fly out of that airport to Scotland. Still deciding. Thank you for taking us along your travels!!😊😊
Glad our videos have been helpful so far! I don’t remember the bus ride being terrible, but then again I was there in low Season so there were no crowds and no traffic. We can’t advise about high season, but low season November-December the bus is no problem. Unfortunately I don’t know of any day trips from Kotor to Dubrovnik, however there are plenty going in the opposite direction Dubrovnik-Kotor.
Thanks for the awesome tips, guys! We're really hoping to make it to Dubrovnik this summer, so we'll definitely keep these day trips in mind while we're there! Looks like you were treated to some spectacular views on the boats and the islands, especially on the cruise back to Dubrovnik. Also that was so cool you guys saw the throne from GOT! Looks like you made the most of your 30 seconds as king and queen of Westeros 😂
Love that you guys were able to make it to Mostar in a day trip! That's so cool! Both Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls look absolutely worth taking a day trip to see
Yea David for navigating to the first stop 🙌😁 Ahh your shots of the water are so pretty. It still surprises me how clear the water in Croatia is. That sunset sail back to Dubrovnik was so beautiful 😍 So we don't watch GoT...but I would still want to sit on that throne 😆 I liked how Lokram had so many spots to find if you wanted to roam around!
We also did the Elaphite islands tour and found it so strange that the tour operators didn’t actually give any idea of what to actually do on each island. We did a bit of wine tasting and Olive oil tasting but only because someone else mentioned it to us. We preferred when we went to visit islands by ourselves rather than the tour. Dubrovnik is a beautiful place to sail back towards each evening, love the calmness of the area.
If you are going to Dubrovnik, let us know in the comments below! We hope you love it as much as we did! Please subscribe to see our next adventure through Bosnia and Hercegovia!

Yes, we felt the same. If it was warm enough to swim I think we would have been well entertained but because it wasn’t it was a bit dull.
