Don't let the 1600p screen entice u over ROG ally most graphical games that are triple AAA won't run at 1600 p without integer scaling anyway...and in that situation better to use far at 1200 p. I'd say the performance is more than acceptable for what it is. Helldivers 2 Hogwarts legacy...I even played star wars Jedi survivor at 30+ fps
@@keno4893 if u want to jump in faster the ROG ally is a very capable device at a cheaper price point...but if u want something that slightly outperforms it and feels premium in ur hands then save a bit and pick up a legion go...I can't recommend it over the ally...but I can recommend buying it if u get what I'm saying

@@coolmodeeyou can use an egpu on the rog ally just like with the legion go via usb c. However the rog ally has a clear advantage due to that xg port as kt has much more bandwidth. Egpus are stupendously expensive either way 😂 (btw I am a legion go owner/fan)

I’m a console guy too but I use the ROG and I play old games (2015-2010) or indies and they are great on high graphics and 60-90 frames edit: plus the screen size it’s so enjoyable 👌 I also play Warzone on recommended settings and it goes 80 fps and it doesn’t look that bad tbh
So i own a ps5 and I also own a rog ally (z1 extreme obviously), just go ahead and get the rog ally it is very good and the fact that its a small screen the graphics never get ugly even if u set the games at medium settings.. you would notice the difference if it was a very very big screen.. but its not so its amazing as hell, the screen is sharp and the colors really do pop! Not to mention that you can customize the saturation of the screen, meaning the color.. and everything else! you can make the screen pop even MORE which is absolutely amazing!

I literally use it every day, maybe its not avail for z1 extreme(i have 7840u) but i use it driver level through radeon software which is official drivers so idk why its not avail for you. Also the input latency is not noticeable to anyone, unless tou playing online games and the only reason you feel the input latency is cuz you adding that amount on top of the server latency. If you say you feel it playing locally i am gonna say Cap. We as people dont feel that little latency as much as people say we do.

The frame gen is back end latency so its not displayed by the screen itself so what i mean is there will be input lag but whats being displayed on screen through 60hz has a higher latency than frame gen gives out Also that's why online games aren't good for game gen cuz it adds to the ping

All I learned is that running Palworld with lower resolution results in higher FPS
