It is a smashing exclusive product for eradicating your telangiectasia (rosacea) minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend Sam at very last got great success with it.

    Great video! I think my rosacea (type 2) is due to hormones. I constantly just get hormonal acne and then flare ups. I used Soolantra before which is good but now I am trying mandelic acid serum, Himalayan crystal soap bar and ozonated olive oil and shea butter. It seems to help and I also notice that when I’m less stressed my skin heals.
    Another thing is that if I go on a holiday where I swim in the ocean a lot, my skin also heals. So that is why I use the himalayan crystal soap bar. Just have to be careful not to run my skin at all but to pat the salt in and then rinse in the shower. Otherwise it will irritate me.
    I am kind of hoping my rosacea will get into an inactive stage at some point as it gets really annoying that my skin no longer is smooth and glowy as it was before. Oh well fingers crossed and good luck my fellow rosacea patients.❤️

    Have both types of rosacea which had been getting steadily worse over 15 years. Tried all sorts of prescription topical treatments and none worked. Rosacea always cleared up on antibiotics, but I don't want to be antibiotics long term. Tried multiple elimination diets and it was none of the usual/suspected causes. Finally figured out (for me) the cause of chronic inflammation was seed oils and processed food. Cut out all seed oils, dressings, mayo and take daily Omega 3 fish oil. In less than 4 months rosacea is 95% gone and none of those other "triggers" bother me. I always knew the inflammation was coming from inside and have been eating clean low carb (no added sugar!!!) and high natural protein/fat and have lost 30 pounds as well. Be well 😊

      Hi, I had trouble finding any skinproducts I could use at all, even the ones made for rosacea.
      I now keep a bag of peas in the freezer for flareups. I press it on my face, just a few seconds, sometimes twice, when the burning and stinging starts. Then spray every 15 mins with thermal water until I feel better. I am still a bit red, but nothing compared to earlier.
      Worth the try ;)

    I developed rosacea during an extremely stressful time that coincided with a course of antibiotics. My theory, the combination of that allowed the inflammation to take hold and for rosacea to present on my skin. Since then, I have healed my endocrine system from the long term effects of stress. I am not overweight; I eat a mostly organic balanced and vegetable-laden diet and I do not drink alcohol nor eat sugar; I am fit; and I take anti inflammatory type supplements, such as fish oil, evening primrose oil and probiotics. But still, I have erythematotelangiectatic (That word is a mouthful!) mosty on my cheeks that can come and go in severity throughout the day. I have not been able to reduce the severity with any foods and I use all the right skincare products for it. I'm at a loss as to how to get rid of it!

    After a very stressful fall, and hyper-busy Christmas, the skin at the hairline turned bright red, and irritated, also up into my scalp at the front hairline, rough scaly scalp with and horrible dandruff. The red roughness didn't stop there, and soon was all the way round my eyes. I have purchased several products both in our local health food store, and online, only the colloquial oatmeal soap, cortisone cream, has helped. My question is as a 47 yo I am seeing that foaming cleansers aren’t my friend but I am seeing improvement with 2 bar soaps. One with zinc and another with sulfur. What are your thoughts on using these long term as I age? I also have some spots of seborrea that is why I use both. One in the morning and the other at night.

    If you blush or flush a lot, you grow more red blood cells within the cheeks. In return are more pathways to vessels and capillaries. That is how rosacea occurs. It's like when you workout, blood travels to the area and will grow more red blood cells.

      Josh you are so right that flushing leads to flushing and more rosacea and more vessles and more and more and more of the unbelievably complex immune misadventure in rosacea prone skin. Just how it all works is still a great mystery. • @DrBaileySkinCare
      @DrBaileySkinCare  4 года назад +2

      Moisturizers are products made from a blend of ingredients and one or more of the ingredients may be the culprit. Many contain ingredients that are taunting such as naicinamide, antiaging ingredients, propylene glycol and other potential irritants. Have you tried going with just one single ingredient at a time such as pure jojoba oil as a night oil. That would eliminate variables and could be an interesting test. It is often what I do when someone is struggling to find a good moisturizer. Most of my patient do well with my Daily Face Creams, but they are composed of many ingredients.

      @@DrBaileySkinCare I find that occlusive creams which often include something like shea butter, or mineral oil trap the heat already present in my skin, and my skin reacts as though it has a severe sunburn. According to one of my derms, she advised not to apply oils because "when oil is placed on skin it dis-regulates the cells below. Cells needs to bind and absorb with water, not oil, in order to be hydrate.". Plus, she think that would not be ideal for me specifically because I have follicular plugging. When I have severe hot flare ups, the one and only thing I've found that my skin can handle is fresh aloe vera.

    Hi Dr.
    I have rosacea on my nose (pustlar) as I have tiny little spots (almost like a rash on my nose). It’s the bane of my life since I was 16. My nose throbs often and it’s affected my career and life in general. Confidence I guess. If I have a busy day - if I then go out in the evening my nose will be red and oily. Its a nightmare. It aches almost too and just looks sunburned. It’s oily (greasy looking too).
    I’ve been on a health kick last few months eating loads of veggies and staying away from sugars etc. I am feeling and looking way fitter but my rosacea is worse. Perhaps the veggies?
    Also - I’ve been tested and have SIBO. I’m positive rosacea comes via an imbalance in the stomach.
    The feeling of sunburn is the main issue. God how jealous I am when I see people touching their nose and it stays the same colour.
    Thanks from Sydney. 🙏🏼

    Loved your video. I developed rosacea last summer after a month and a half long round of prednisone. It's been a really annoying reality to get used to but I am trying to do what I can. I've suffered from eczema since I was 10, so about 23 years. In my teens, during an excruciating outbreak, I learned from a holistic dr. that so much of what caused my eczema was diet. At that time, 23 years ago, not many medical professionals believed it was diet related. However, I cut out the foods he told me to, wheat/dairy/sugar, and slowly reintroduced them to see which I had an issue with. I found wheat and sugar to be an issue, but not dairy. Perhaps that is now different since I have rosacea. Anyway, I wanted to ask if you've heard of the Medical Medium books and the celery juice trend? I've been reading about so many people healing their bodies from the inside out and "curing" their skin conditions using those tools. So I've been thinking of giving it a try but was also very intrigued to learn more about your eBooks for rosacea and anti-inflammatory diets...however I couldn't find it via the link you provided. Where on your site are these ebooks? I appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge and research. Thank you again!

    • @DrBaileySkinCare
      @DrBaileySkinCare  5 лет назад +1

      Hello Natasha, I have heard of the celery juice trend and think it is intriguing. I love juicing and love a cleanse approach to setting our physiology onto a more neutral setting relative to inflammation, and then seeing how it feels and behaves. We can learn a lot about how our lifestyle choices impact our health issues that way, in my opinion. The ebooks are under the 'Advice' section. Up on the gray navigation bar at the top of every page is 'Advice' over on the right. Hover over that and you see a drop down. Ebooks are there. They are also listed at the bottom of the Advice page. Funny the link did not work. I will have to explore that. It is the sign up to receive an ebook by email. Thanks for watching and good luck with your rosacea.

    Hey there Dr Bailey, I have had rosacea for a long time now. I got IPL and it worked great! I assume I have the type of rosacea that is triggered by using certain types of skin care products unfortunately! Now I have taken notes from your video and will hunt for a better cleanser and moisturizer ! :) I am probably moving to Florida, from Canada so I guess I will have to get a good sun screen too with non irritating mineral zinc oxide broad spectrum! Thank you very much for the video

      It is hard to specifically say. Generally, we do know our skin barrier weakens with age. Immune disregulation is more likely with age as well. Basically, things we are prone to and did not suffer in youth can become unmasked with age. Just some thoughts ;-) Thanks for finding my channel!

    No idea if I have rosacea but I know I have sensitive skin and ended up messing up my skin barrier last winter. I have to keep humidifier on in winter or I get red blotchy skin and just flat dots that aren’t super noticeable but do seem like hyperpigmentation. One day perfectly clear skin next day blotchy then clear again. Contact dermatitis? Allergy pills help but I try not to take meds.

    Thank you so much for this video! It's among the only one on the topic that has made me feel less overwhelmed by my condition, as opposed to more. And thank you for mentioning seborrheic dermatitis, the first derm i ever saw told me that's what i had, but then another one told me i had Rosacea. I spent a good amount of time confused, wondering, if the first derm had confused my erythematotelangiectactic (oof, what a word) rosacea for SB, and not knowing on what front i should approach my skincare routine? But now that i know they go hand in hand sometimes, i feel better equipped to handle it all. I've ordered your anti-redness kit, hopefully it will help!!! I've yet to find a cleanser that doesn't make me feel tight and like my face is on fire, so im crossing my finger for your zinc bar.

He says it's harmonal or perioral dermititis it's been 2 weeks. He put me on minocycline and a topical cream. I go back in 3 weeks, I'm a little nervous about the antibiotics cause I always hear they are not good for you. Reallly trying to pay attention to triggers. I will continue to watch your channel and videos and hope to learn more. You are so knowledgeable. Can you suggest a cleanser and moisturizer? Last dermatologist suggested CeraVe ,,I'm not sure about that. Thankyou..I'm also 58 and never had a skin problem. He said this could take 6 months or longer to get better ,.if it really does get better?

    I loved this video! I have a little trouble with skin sensitivity, and I'm not sure if it's the first type of Rosacea, or just environmental sensitivity. But in any case, this video was super informative, and I'll start incorporating your advice in my daily life. Also, I wanted to ask what type of chemical exfoliant would you recommend? Thanks so much Dr. Bailey!

    • @DrBaileySkinCare
      @DrBaileySkinCare  4 года назад

      chemical exfoliation is tricky with rosacea. I typically use physical exfoliation in skin conditions characterized by perturbed skin barrier integrity. It’s been such a weird journey with my rosacea. It was seemingly all temperature related (direct sunlight, being outside over 75 degrees, being outside under 50 degrees, warm/cold showers, and exercise).
    Me and my derm eliminated mites. On ivermectin for 9 months with no results. Then I had a bout of perioral dermatitis in May. Very stubborn. I was on antibiotic cream and Elidel, it kept returning within a day of stopping topicals.
    My derm put me on antibiotics and I continued the antibiotic cream, but ditched the Elidel. By chance I’ve figured out my rosacea is bacterial. Since being on antibiotics my redness has drastically decreased, even after taking hot showers or being outside in the summer.
    It’s bittersweet because I know I can’t be on oral antibiotics forever, and I don’t know if it’s safe to use an antibiotic topical for a long time either. 😔
