Brittany Sanders sounds really nice, but I’m still a little scared about my hairs growing back thicker because I am mixed and I have Indian roots and we have pretty thick hair as it is. So I don’t want to do it one time and then be forced to keep doing it because the new hairs will seem thicker.

I used to have so much hair everywhere, I payed for laser and now I dont have a single hair in my face. I feel like mu life changed because its permanent.
I get electrolysis on my facial hair (sideburns/jaw and upper lip). I’d recommend to anyone. It has reduced the hair drastically. Reduced the quality that goes and what atm still grows back is a lot lighter. It also grows back soft. If you shave it it’ll feel like stubble because you are just chuck the hair. Think about how the ends of hair on head look after you cut it really blunt. If you remove the hair entirely from the hair follicles then itll be so much softer and take longer to grow back. It’s not a one time treatment as you have to go until the hair stops but eventually you’ll have to go less and less. It is also a bit painful but nothing too bad
I didn't know it was possible to get ASMR tingles from watching somebody massage cleaner into another persons face. That looked SO DAMN RELAXING. Thank you so much for the vid hun!
I recently decided to drop out of school (I was going for Kinesiology) and you’ve actually made me want to look into going to school to be an esthetician. If I were honest with myself about dreams, I’d love a career in the cosmetology field, but I’ve never been huge on makeup or anything because I’m more of a skin care type of person, and you’ve made me want to ride on that and maybe go the same route that you have. Thank you so much. I had no idea there was an option besides being a dermatologist. 😫💖
It is a very fun career but it’s a competitive field that barely pays the bills unless you’re exceptionally good . At least this has been my experience. But there are so many different jobs you can have a with the license. You could be a state board examiner, makeup artist, instructor.. I dropped out of my criminal justice program to be an aesthetician lol
Jasmine Taylor oh I know girl, right. I would love to be an esthetician....I've thought nabout it often too. I think I'd want to go to the Aveda Institute
If you have acne prone skin or congested skin don't even try it. Personally except for laser treatments, anything that removes hair or even fuzz makes me break out and creates reb visible vessels (razor, silk and peel, hot wax, strips, gloves, creams, foams, plugging, treading, etc). Wouldn't try that to my face even if I was being paid. Not to mention the risk for people with hormonal imbalance of having the hair grow back stiff until they reach maximum length. It's a no no. Why treat your face so vigorously? There are so many sophisticated and precise treatments. Salons do that because it's almost no cost for them and it needs to be done frequently so it's easy and secure money. But overtime the skin gets thickened and looks soft only for a couple of days after the treatment. Save your money for good healthy food, good skin care and treatments that have an impact on your skin (chemical peels, injections, luxurious facials, microdermabrasion, anything else basically). Plus it not even hygienic to perform such a treatment on a skin with active acne like the girl here. You put her in major risk of spreading bacteria and creating huge acne on her face. Very inconsiderate!
sasablink I second your opinion about acne prone skin! One of things in the disclaimer said "people w/acne prone skin should not get dermaplaining." This girl OBVIOUSLY has acne prone skin! After the treatment those acne spots look more inflamed! Her skin make me cringe....! She should stop dermaplaining and work on fixing the cause of her breakouts. Then once her face is cleared up she can go back to dermaplaining.
I have acne and i get it done. It actually helps with the break outs ever since ive gotten this done ive only had minimal break outs that go away fast!
E Bangalter a. Asian skin is quite different than black or Mediterranean. It barely has any peach fuzz. B. The fact that something was used doesn't mean it's good, they just didn't have anything better, now we do. Plus I get it people doing it on their own but I find it unbearable that salons charge for it as a treatment. It has close zero cost for them and it needs zero knowledge. And it's not a treatment! Give me a break!(not you :), salons)
Thank you sister for this video. I have a 10x mirror and saw all the peach fuzz and debris on my face even after washing. Just started the 60 sec cleanse and purchased a dermaplaning tool from Amazon and will add this to my skin care routine. Thanks for your channel. 58 yr. old here. Very inspired!!!
Lilac Bunny Depends, I guess. I shave my face with a regular razor all the time-- often the cheap Daisy ones, no less-- w/o any irritation. Dermaplaning seems pretty gimmicky to me.
You are so right! I thought maybe it was a procedure where it wouldn't grow back or something but nah just SHAVING ...and it's gonna grow right back except with a blunt end.
Try it guys and you will love it. However if you have sensitive skin i will not recommend this for you. I have normal sometimes slightly oily skin (during summer) and this makes me look like im immortal that doesnt age. Keeps you bright and glowing. But my friend tried this procedure and he has acne prone skin didnt end up well he said it kinda irritated his skin and broke out from it. Also remember to put sunscreen atleast spf50pa++++ so that your new shaved face will be protected. And dont wear too much makeup or not at all. Cosmetics can irritate your skin and can alter the effects of this procedure
The same words flashing on the bottom of the screen is very very distracting for me, I kept clicking farther and farther in the video instead of watching it hoping the words would go away. It's almost impossible to pay attention to the derma planing. Maybe if you repeated it a few times but not the entire video? Or repeat it every few minutes.
She nicked an active/healing pimple and continued to dermaplane..... Girl... Unless you have some tuff skin... I'd break out in 25 different areas if this was my skin lol
nope :) She had no active breakouts at the time of service. All breakouts were in the healing phase with no fluids exposed. This is exactly why this service isn't safe for those with active breakouts. Don't ever want to spread bacteria :)
When she was doing the jaw/neck I got really nervous. I would be so scared that the technician would slip and cut my throat. Or imagine if an earthquake hit 😰
The blade is too small to do anything except leave a small scar. It would require a lot of force to puncture the windpipe and both the jugular veins and carotid arteries are about 1.5" deep (too deep for this small blade) and protected by muscle and other structures. Plus arteries have strong, muscle-like walls that can constrict when an artery is cut. Lots of people survive deep throat slashing from being attacked or self-inflicted. Don't worry about a little blade like this.
No worries! It's a fact whether you believe it or not. People do not "die so easily" from wrist slashing. That method has a relatively low success rate. (You can google that.) One of the reasons it's not often fatal is that veins are so much smaller than arteries, and carry blood at a lower pressure and volume. It would take a LOT longer to exsanguinate from a vein injury than an arterial one. The force of blood from the artery is pretty amazing, but the radial artery is buried deep and in the upper corner, so it's a lot trickier to get to than it might seem at first. Another reason it's not "so easy" is because, as previously mentioned, the arterial walls are able to constrict, to slow the spray of blood, so it would be necessary not only deeply, but vertically to mitigate the constriction.
Kenzie Katastrophe yeah she does, that’s why I mentioned “minimal” I still have some acne healing/scabbing so I’m just doubtful that it would safe to, literally, scrape over active acne versus hers, which honestly looks healed or like dry patches. Have you had this done, do you think it would be too abrasive? I do microdermabrasion so I imagine this is similar
"Is it safe for someone with acne? No. Unfortunately, if you have active breakouts, dermaplaning can cause those pustules to open & spread bacteria on your face. Yuck."~In the description.

@@phoenixaa89 it matters because it's sanitary. She removed a bunch of dead skin and dirt etc. So I would assume after that is completed she would wipe clean her face, change her gloves then moisturize her skin with clean gloves instead of the same gloves used to remove the dirt and dead skin 💁
Your hair has three cycles and constantly falls out and grows back. This only takes the tapered point of the hair off, not affecting the growth of the hair. If you didn't like the feel of it growing back (because of the direction the dermaplane was done in) it will only eventually fall out and regrow again

Coley227 save your money and get laser or electrolysis. That’s permanent, this “Dermablading” is literally just shaving.
@@LaDivinaLover Dermablading is taking peach fuzz AND dead skin off the face. You can use a razor if you just need to get the peach fuzz off for cheaper I guess.
I used to have so much hair everywhere, I payed for laser and now I dont have a single hair in my face. I feel like mu life changed because its permanent.
Ditto
YES! That's what I was going for! Thank you!!!
Thisss
I had the same reaction... how strange!
New subscriber here and yes, this gave me that weird belly tingle feeling. Watching this has made the start of my day chill as hell. 🧡
Kathleen Clark lol that's why I watch hair shampoo and back massage videos, they relax me so much 😅
This girl is beautiful.
jenn peters beauty is subjective, you can see her face and her smile and features so let them think she’s beautiful
jenn peters who hurt you
jenn peters lol
Well I mean if you turn your device to the side you can sort of see most of her face. Enough to tell whether she looks pretty
Yes, I was thinking the same thing! She is absolutely stunning!
Just from those first few knife strokes. You can already see the difference! I’m excited to try this.
Hey girl why did you drop out if you don’t mind me asking? I’m planning on majoring in kinesiology
Best of luck to you ❤
Girl same I really love skincare but I don’t think I would be able to live comfortably being just an esthetician because of where I live :(
It is a very fun career but it’s a competitive field that barely pays the bills unless you’re exceptionally good .

This is soooo bad for the skin , look how she scratch the same area more than once 😩. Also her face hair will grow crazy 💔
DD Xlife Is it? Lol, I would love to try this at least once in my life😁
HELLO DI it removes dead skin and the face hair does NOT come back like crazy. It does help and is very relaxing
I just woke up. From a nap that this video put me to sleep for . lol.
I've been doing this for over a year now and it really does make a difference. It never stopped making me anxious though 😅
So all I need is a #10 surgical blade and I'm good to go? DIY dermaplanning here I come.
Please update.
Sakura Kasugano DON’T slice a huge gash into your skin. I did this way before I knew what it was but use a eyebrow razor works well.
Yeah, I just use an eyebrow razor to do my face I would be too afraid of someone taking a scalpel to my face
I thought of this too aha😂😂😂
Rals Becket me asf 🤣🤣🤣
highkey want this to be done on my whole body
Haaa
Isn't this called shaving old style with a knife
Nah because its a surgical 10 blade
pretty much..
And it removes dead skin.
Yes it is shaving with a small blade
Denise Martha Sascha Baronin von Cohen
Yeah, but it has benefits for your skin. Can’t live on with 10 layers of dead skin.

Peach fuzz doesn’t technically grow back thicker, but it can look thicker because the tip of the hair is thicker due to it being cut
Yh but it tapers out as time passes, making it eventually look the same as is originally was
Doesn't make it technically thicker but it looks thicker because they are tapered for one and second they are now on the same growth cycle.
And actually that's what "growing thicker" means for all hairs not only peach fuzz.

Lily Zingaro it's very easy to spread bacteria and cause worse acne. I'm happy for you but be careful.
Umm this technique has been used in Asian for hundreds of years. Just going to say that
E Bangalter a.
What’s the Benefit of dermalplaning? I didn’t get it for the first 50 tIme...
I read those over and over again, and again....before i realised it s the same shit

A better video would be her After 3 weeks from now, are those blemishes better or worse, same close up process, no makeup?
@Sarah Dougherty ..good for you, that's great!
Yes, would be much better
Sarah Dougherty question ! Does your face seem to feel stubbly for a few days when growing in new hair ?
Thank you sister for this video. I have a 10x mirror and saw all the peach fuzz and debris on my face even after washing. Just started the 60 sec cleanse and purchased a dermaplaning tool from Amazon and will add this to my skin care routine. Thanks for your channel. 58 yr. old here. Very inspired!!!

Dermaplaning....its just shaving your face
illusion yeet Yeah but have you seen a lady actual shave her face with a regular razor? Super irritating. This lady's face didn't even get red!
Lilac Bunny Depends, I guess. I shave my face with a regular razor all the time-- often the cheap Daisy ones, no less-- w/o any irritation. Dermaplaning seems pretty gimmicky to me.
Dermaplaning is not just getting rid of hair, it's getting rid of dead skin as well
You are so right! I thought maybe it was a procedure where it wouldn't grow back or something but nah just SHAVING ...and it's gonna grow right back except with a blunt end.
You get deeper exfoliation than with an at home razor. You don't typically get that much dead skin from shaving but it does exfoliate some.
I was so nervous when she got to the forehead near the hairline.....I’m all about preserving edges lol you did great!!!

Is anyone else oddly satisfied because of this?
Did anyone else do this kinda thing in elementary or middle school to their arm with scissors or something
I legit did that in 2nd grade during class when we were watching a movie and I cut my arm, lol
I DID! LOL then I'd act like I was doing a peel with Elmer's glue. Thanks for the memories! ❤️😍
Blithe yes
Yeah and I thought I was just extremely dirty
YES
I was wanting her to shave her pimple too...finally she did...I felt so good😄...de stressing therapy,😁

I couldn’t do this I’d be chopping pimples off left & right😂 this is amazing!
She nicked an active/healing pimple and continued to dermaplane..... Girl... Unless you have some tuff skin... I'd break out in 25 different areas if this was my skin lol
Mike Frank what time stamp ?
Sasha Cabalquinto 6:45
i wouldn't be surprised if she got more acne after that because the bacteria from the pimple would have spreaded
She shaved quite a few pimples
nope :) She had no active breakouts at the time of service.
By the nose i was dying
sarah bee Not that I don’t believe you but I wonder how do people die so easily from wrist slashing than? Because it’s a vein rather than an artery?
You seem over-anxious.
I assume someone with minimal texture would be eligible to get this :/
Michele Davis this girl has texture and pimples on her face I think you could go for it too.
Yeah that’s what I figured.
Cross OveR ah. I did not read the description. I could do this maybe on my good skin weeks lol.

I hope she changed the gloves when she was moisturizing her face.
Why would it matter 💀
@@phoenixaa89 it matters because it's sanitary. She removed a bunch of dead skin and dirt etc. So I would assume after that is completed she would wipe clean her face, change her gloves then moisturize her skin with clean gloves instead of the same gloves used to remove the dirt and dead skin 💁

Phoenix Alms you’re literally an idiot and gonna stay an idiot if you continue to be like this. Do better.
Peach fuzz has always been my main concern about growing back thicker
No
Yup! That’s why you leave peach hair/vellus hair alone! It does grow back thicker on some people!
Your hair has three cycles and constantly falls out and grows back. This only takes the tapered point of the hair off, not affecting the growth of the hair. If you didn't like the feel of it growing back (because of the direction the dermaplane was done in) it will only eventually fall out and regrow again
Next time, show all that you've removed and a before/after shot. 🙄
K
The annoying comments saying "it grows back thicker" shave it on the regular and who cares how it grows back get rid of it before it's a problem.
