This is awesome! looking forward to what you guys do next to the car 🙌
Just ordered one of these and a GK angle kit! Super stoked!
Fire 86 !!
For the 91 tune, do you need uprated injectors or fuel pump? Also, what width tires do you recommend to put the power down? I was hoping 225 so I could keep the stock wheels, but wasn’t sure if it needed any wider.
any recommended support mods prior to this supercharger mod??
new clutch?
Does this unit face extreme heatsoaking issues (even with intercooler) like the previous gen did?
I would say not, check out some of the other vids , we talk about this when it was on the dyno at @Delicious Tuning
0-60 time?😮
Excited for mine 😀
Come drive this
would you recommend daily driving this setup long term?
100%
Idk anything about these newer gr86's....do they have any forged internals stock - can it hold 350whp + reliably?
Anybody got actual data....
Cool shit, especially as an ND owner. Would love to see one of these vs a Fab9 tuned hks kit ND2!
There's a guy pushing 600whp on all stock internal... have done so for atleast 10-20k miles at this point.
Jesus christ finally!
We released the dyno number a while back, takes a little time to edit and put video together
Put a IS 3.9 diff in it and its gucci
Would you recommend this for an GR86 that is mostly track driven? Time attack/time trials/GPS events. I do not trust the FA-24…. yet.
i actually would
No fuel injectors?
Yes - We added 700CC injectors for the Demand with more fuel when on the FFK Tune
350 HP out of the FA24? Shit's gonna blow up lol.
Fa24 seems pretty stout, theirs a turbo gr86 build on insta I’ve seen that’s putting 530 something to the ground from a turbo kit, no telling how long these kinda setups will last but, still very impressive
@@fsl3242 thats k24_austin, making i think 563 on a stock engine gr86
@@Gr86_del08 yeah it’s pretty crazy can’t imagine my brz making that type of power
you do know the fa24 was a variant of the ascent/wrx that's been downgraded right? the original fa24 on the ascent had a turbo on it so theatrically the block on gr86 should hold boost just fine if you're not going too crazy.
350 hp is a pretty reliable numbner for daily driving lmao its nothing too crazy
passenger riding a 350hp car: "oh my god, holy cow, oh my god daddy its so big go deeper oh my god"
I had a great time in Mexico.
I like everything about it, except the efficiency. This kit needs 15psi and E85 to make 350HP. There are guys making that on 91 octane with an HKS or Vortech blower at 8psi. This is the SPS version of the sprintex which is the most efficient one they offer. It still needs twice as much boost to make the power of a centrifugal unit. The 335 blower with less boost would likely perform much better.
yeah plus with a centrifugal you get fun blow off noises
@@censoredialogue True. But the blower whine still sounds better IMO.
I don’t have that much info but was thinking about getting a supercharger for the old 86. I’m wondering if the HKS GT2 supercharger is a good choice? I have a shop willing to install it for 900$ Asking because you seem to know your stuff! Thanks bro!
@@boost331 that’s fair. i find supercharger whine pretty annoying on smaller engines
@@censoredialogue That is my inner Ford guy talking. 🤣
Love that blower whine.
I am thinking a centrifugal blower with 8-10psi is going to be the sweet spot on there cars. Jackson Racing is said to have a kit coming out soon. My bet is that will be the king on the dyno.
🤙👊
I will message you on IG , want you to come up and see it in person
