The most irritating part of remote is that it doesnt have display light. it causes lots of inconvenience while you are sleeping.These days almost all ac company giving display in AC and giving light in remote but daikin doesnt have anything.

that's just the temperature icon. It just shows up when you can set the temperature.

What is the use of that 2 buttons next to good sleep button ? I've bought new Daikin ac Feb 2022 model and in that remote I've got coanda button option on the left side of good sleep button and swing option. Can u please share the meaning of that two options also. Thank you

Coanda button is for coanda air flow effect which reflects the air flow in various directions rather than common airflow.

24°C is the default temperature. Usse kam me ac chalana bhi nhi chahiye.
The problem with daikin ac is there is no temperature display on the unit , also remote is not backlit ,,so at night it is a big trouble nothing can be done
There is temperature display as well as backlight in remote , I think each model has different features .

Many times we don’t use AC for days due to favourable weather in that case can we switch off remote without taking out its batteries…
If you type any switch other than on off fan and auto and temperature, will it get locked? Is it true then why are the buttons there and can't turn on if locked?
*Is economic mode Available in dakin non inverter 1.5ton 3 star AC? I have this ac and in his remote economic function is also there but installation boy said that it will not work on this because this mode is only for 5 star ACS? Is it true?

In economic mode AC sets the temp 1-2 deg above the temp set by you it will work in any AC any brand irrespective of inverter vs non inverter
it will save some money in your monthly bill
Auto mode automatically mantains the room temp. It will increase Or decrease the temp and fan speed

रिमोट में टेम्परेचर कम/ज्यादा हो जाता है पर एसी में बीप नहीं होती।
मतलब एसी के फंक्शन एरिया से बाहर भी रिमोट (सिर्फ देखने के लिए) काम कर रहा है। एसी का एक्चुअल टेम्परेचर कैसे पता चलेगा?

Can you answer my questions please..1) in running condition the ac stops only if the power botton is pressed twice quickly..2) when need to change temperature in a running ac,on clicking the up down botton of remote the indoor unit produces beep sound with each press on remote..but sometimes the temperature change shows on remote but no beep sound is emitted or heard..so can not assess whether the indoor unit taken command or not..your comment please..
Its the issue we have also faved as no display on indoor unit and no signal transmission icon ac remote in daiken
Running the ac on cool mode with fan speed on ...is this economical ?

Sometimes it goes to dry mode and unable to up / down the temperature while dry mode symbol intact on remote screen. Even few times while switching on ac it goes to dry mode directly and doesn't allow to change temperature.

Very informative video. I have one question though, what do you mean by " dry more" ?? In the video, you said that even in the dry mode it throws cool air. Then how this is different from the normal mode ??
Dry mode reduces humidity in room.. so use it in rainy season
Those drop symbols indicate rain drops, it is mostly used during rainy season when humidity will be more inside rooms. It will dry out the air by removing humidity and cooling the room at same time.

What is the minimum temperature in Daikin. In my model, only 18 goes. While in others 16 is the lowest

company is decreasing the minimium limit of temp. every year........reason is global warming i think
It's because of the R32 gas, it freezes below 18.

The remote consistently shows the temperature even after the AC is turned off. How do I turn off the remote too when not in use?
There's no need to put the remote on off because it does not consume battery until you press a button. Ink displays consumes charge only when we press a button i.e. we change the display. Idle displays don't consume any charge unlike phone displays which keeps refreshing.

Daikin Ac donot have standard specifications. Same models have different specifications just like buying vegetables with different lot. It happened to us where same model bought has 4way swing and another piece has 2way swing. No response from Daikin. They said yeh India mein chalta hai.
