Why are leaders so jumpy when people point out what they see in the church. You are not jumping ship when you point apostasy in our leaders. God have mercy.

Spot on, God is not waving a magic wand to correct the wrongs of His people but sends prophets and judgements. Thank you Jesus, thank you Dr. Vine!!! What unbelievable corruption has entered our ranks for a long time now.
As in the literal so in the spiritual. In the first century it was the leaders of the Jewish church who were the worse enemies of the common people and today, in the 21st century nothing has changed. We have not learned from their experience. The SDA Church today is repeating the history of ancient Israel. It would appear also that in the civil arena the same thing is going on and our own government could be our own worse enemy. Cease ye from man whose breath is in his nostrils.

Our church leaders are leading us astray and they refuse to accept reproof. They want to shut us down.
I used to appreciate Pastor Findlay and still do but since he joined the GC he's there to cover up the failings of the conference. He would do better to return to work as an evangelist and stay away from the church politics.
It's like the conference is defiant and beyond reproof. It would be better for them to welcome the criticism.
Pastor Mark Finley speaks as if the GC is infallible.
Nearly all SDA members have been quiet about the SDA Church's support of abortion for the last 50 years.

So let me get this straight… Mark Finley says to sign and cry for the abominations in the church and yet he says to keep quiet and let God do the work. Sounds like a contradiction to me.

He didn’t say what they have accused him of. I’m praying for us all. But I’m speaking truth in this matter with the love of Christ and not man. This is sad. I’m not leaving the church. I had thought about it , brought it before the lord and in prayer he showed me be in his word and stand for truth & love.

The leaders keep pointing out that God will cleanse His church, but "kill" the messengers through whom God is trying to accomplish that cleansing. This defies all sense!
No New Organization The Lord has declared that the history of the past shall be rehearsed as we enter upon the closing work. Every truth that He has given for these last days is to be proclaimed to the world. Every pillar that He has established is to be strengthened. And what happens when the SDA organization itself has apostasised from the truth??? Understand EGW put time to her comment, " We cannot now!" This means by then the sda GC had not been infiltrated by the agents of the antichrist, but now my brother, we better watch... something big is coming...those who keep the commandments of God and maintain the testimony of Jesus are the true church. Physical structures, offices, and ranks can be shaken off, but the truth and only the truth will withstand the coming storm.
Amen. And Conrad Vine never suggested a new organisation, just a structure that could help direct tithes away from those who were using the money to support sin.

The GC should apologize for their mistakes and retore Ps Conrad Vine in his work as soon as possible. The work of the Lord seriously shared the tithes employed pastors to the work of the Lord.

God is attending to it through his other leaders within in the Congregation. So how does Pr Mark Finly expect God to intervene?
The Congregation is the Church. GC is not the Church. Leadership cannot shut the others leaders in the Church. GC is being told that it is wrong, should confess and repent. We are praying for leadership to admit it's SIN(S).
This is growing into a conundrum for the GC leadership. Time to get on your knees and pray for God to move out the Jesuits..
A lot of battles between christians lately because of the Pope. For example Christian Prince( i find him a very good christian) rebuked the pope and Sam Shamoun called him names , and the battle started and is on
I saw that too. Sam is way off in some areas, and both of them have pride enough to make Satan ashamed.

And of course, we do often need to speak up publicly, tears in our voices,as Jesus did, even while calling out the Jewish leaders.
Re the dichotomy in Mark Finley’s comments on criticizing the church while should also be sighing and crying for the abominations. I believe he is calling for cessation of public criticism while encouraging private sighing and crying before the Lord. I agree with Conrad Vine and the other ministries taking exception and really love this channel, (though am wishing the hilarious laughter would stop), but in all fairness, we do need to have a balance. Especially since there are things that some of us understand that those of you in the conference churches do not yet understand. (That was a free extra. 🙏😊) Blessings.

It's a great complementary talk to Conrad Vine's and I don't think it was unintentional when they planned the talks.

There are several issues with Pastor Finley‘s message. First and foremost is the point he made that God will deal with his church. This is true! However, consider the difference between a rebuke or reproof from the brethren and the judgment of God. Do we want to wait till God’s going to intervene and fix it all? At that point it might be too late for the person that is being corrected. We have a responsibility to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to give warning. For instance, if I see my brethren falter, am I to say I’m just gonna let God handle it? Is that what the Bible tells us to do? Is that what the spirit of prophecy has advised? I think not. Though, it is a convenient way to justify the neglect of our duty to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ or our own participation in the behavior. Furthermore, the ark analogy was way off. Yes, the animals did defecate on the ark and of course you would not jump out of the ark for that reason. However, you would not live in the defecation without taking care of it. You would get the defecation and you would throw it outside of the ark. If you didn’t do an occasional ark cleaning, you would run the risk of getting sick from the defecation. This works the same in churches. Sometimes the tares will begin to affect the wheat if they are not dealt with in a Christian and biblical manner. This seems to be a very dangerous position that is being taken by the very leaders at the top, a kind of laissez fair of church duty. It seems to me the more the conference representatives respond, the deeper they dig their hole. Disappointed, but not surprised.

If the word "men" includes women why didn't the prophet say that? According to the bible men are to be leaders in the church and at home not women. "I suffer not a woman to teach nor usurp the authority of the man". Women and men have different roles in the Bible in modern culture they are interchangeable. "Christ is the head of man, man is the head of woman and God is the head of Christ".

However, this "controversy" has caught my attention. When we sin, whoever we are, we should be humble, acknowledge our sin, seek forgiveness and move on. Permit me to share the closing paragraph from Sketches from the Life of Paul, Chapter 25:
"The truth always involves a cross. Those who will not believe, oppose and deride those who do believe. The fact that its presentation creates a storm of opposition, is no evidence against the truth. The prophets and apostles imperiled their lives because they would conscientiously obey God. And our Saviour declares that "all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." This is the Christian's legacy."

Regarding brother Finley's reading of Selected message vol2 pg 390. Yes God will attend to the righting of the church and that may include the removal of tares from the leadership at the GC for censoring other members who bring fourth the truth about the actions of those leaders.
Only catholic church assumed infallibility.

Or...we should just stick with the counsel we have been given.

This finley is wrong, using EGW quote that was only meant for HER early church ANTI TRINITY ( ANTI CATHOLIC DOCTRINE) organisation. Finley thinnks its the same sda. No friends, sda has gone sour in Gods face. He ll spew it out of his mouth. Youre mot jumping into the water, youre jumping ship ( to the original SDA church ship) Go back to your roots !!

Prior to social media, we
could not air our dirty laundry in the public. Now? Anything and anyone is fair game for the love of money. How can we expect the lost to respect us or come into the fold? They’re looking at the videos and laughing at how we are sparring against one another with so many contradictions? It’s a sad day.

I don't love my church. I love Jesus. When you start to make "the church" the focus, you get contentious situations like this that get in the way of the simple Gospel commission.
If you don't love the only object on earth on which God puts his supreme regard, then you need to rethink whether you are following God or not.
Pastor Finnley is correct. I didn’t hear we cannot criticize the church. We should be critical of non scriptural church policy but we are going to continue to worship.
Pastor Mark Finley is attacking Pastor Conrad Vine not good.
