Very nicely done! the take offs, patterns and landings were all well controlled and precise, the approaches, touch downs, reconfiguration and climb always were all very nicely executed, smooth and controlled, precise runway use and staying centred throughout, nice hold offs once landing the mains, I could not really see anything not too like, handled like a pro!! there is never any shame from making mistakes, the art is realising them and and applying what is learned to eradicate them, good pilots critique their performance even with 20,000 hrs in, happy flying!!!.

You are amazing on the radio, you had perfect control of the airplane at all times, and managed the stress of a first solo with complete grace and confidence. You will be an amazing pilot! Very well done!!
Outstanding. Confident, capable and in full command of that lovely little C152. Great job in the circuit and comma with tower. Greased it in all 3 landings. Never behind the airplane. Mistakes? Nah. Everything you slipped up on was compensated for quickly and beautifully.
I remember my first solo. The traffic pattern was right traffic and when I looked over to the runway as I entered the downwind, that’s when I noticed the right seat was empty. Most of the time on solo you do things so mechanical to your training that you don’t really comprehend that you’re all alone. It’s the euphoria after you land that you did it that will be the memory forever. Remember, you can’t feel the airplane with a death grip. Max, two finger, like your taking a shot; which you’ll do later on because YOU SOLOED!! LOL!
I made my first solo in a Cessna 152 as well ... I remember when the controller told me "left hand downwind" when i had done a "right hand" just before with the instructor on board. Dam' ! And then the (thanks god)scattered clouds appearing in the downwind leg.... Well... Compass + Horizon came handy. I was glad i had some good training and also glad to land. My advice : don't be in a rush to get your license in the summer and be without supervision in the winter. Either pass the exam in winter Time or take hours with a flight instructor again in winter time.
I was a flight instructor for many years and eventually went on to fly for a major airline. My advice to you is keep flying the airplane as beautifully as you do. As far as mistakes, unfortunately you’ll make some more. Even with 17,000 hours I’ve made mistakes that I’ll take to the grave. Keep up the great work my friend!!!
What mistakes? You did an excellent job, stayed ahead of the plane, sounded like a pro on the radio, and of course, good landings. You belong in the cockpit -- best of luck for a bright future in aviation.
Well done, nice landings! Congrats from an older pilot in Australia. I hope you learn well and go far. I'm a fair weather pilot but unable to fly anymore due to medical issues. I can just enjoy through you youngsters.
I like to watch golf. Seeing the pros discuss their coming shot with their caddies, taking 5 minutes to figure things out---I'm impressed with the number of life and death decisions one must perform just for one flight. Great job.
Damn, you nailed every landing....so cool to see. I still remember my first solo in 1986. CFI made me park and got out of the AC while the engine was still running and told me I was on my own. It really didn't dawn on me until I took off and no one was in the right seat--then I was nervous but just did everything like I'd been doing it with him there. What I find amazing with you is not only your greased landings but you stayed on centerline each time. Congratulations and since this was a year ago I'm sure you've gotten at least your PP cert now :)
You did fantastic. When I soloed, it was in a Cessna 152 and my instructor taught me to land with Full Flaps. I remember how the Airplane Jumped off the runway and climbed so fast without the extra weight of my flight instructor. My first landing was perfect, I added power for the Go part of Touch and Go, and the airplane seemed sluggish. It wasn't accelerating, like I had thrown out an anchor. I looked out the side window and I was 10 feet off the ground and going nowhere. I had forgotten to raise the flaps. So, I kept it pointed down the runway and slowly raised the flaps an increment at a time. I was climbing like a rocket again. The Cessna 152 just didn't climb out of ground effect with full flaps on a hot Texas day. What fun that was. Have fun on the rest of your adventure getting your license.
Thank you! Oh wow! I experienced something similar when the flaps wouldn’t come up after take off in a touch and go. It was startling at first but luckily they eventually came up.
Congrats! It’s a great feeling doing your first solo . Also a surreal realization you’re alone and are the only one responsible for getting it back on the ground safely . I hit some moderate turbulence on my first solo and almost pooped my pants

Hey, I was a 17-yr-old kid, scared out his wits, and was making sure I had everything right! Oh, and back then - NO HEADSETS! Just the scratchy speaker in the wing root by my left ear. To talk, I had to pick up the corded microphone, just like an old-fashioned CB radio. (damn, I'm old... ;) )
Oh wow, well glad everything went well!
Ah the memories. I just started flying again after having stopped for 30 years. It seems like things have changed somewhat.
congrats amiga!!! a day you will never forget!
Gracias!!!!
Nicely done! congratulations!
Thank you very much!
I'm a little ways away from solo yet (just started lessons) but hope to do as well as you did!
Thanks so much i hope everything goes well and as planned. Have fun!
Thank you for posting this !! I did my first solo at KEMT back in 2000 - So many good memories : ) You did a great job - we ALL make mistakes on our first solo, I forgot to turn on my transponder. LOL
Thank you! Oh whoops!!
40 years ago in a brand new 152!!! The good ol days. Cessna had a program $2,990. I washed airplanes for the $$$$$. First solo Martha's Vineyard. ;)
I think you did pretty good! Congrats! I hope to be there one day.
Great job. Just don’t forget the mixture. Good luck.
Excellent job on all the landings & very well edited video as well.😀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🛩
Thank you so much Brent!!!
Those mountains in the background kind of look like the inland empire of LA/Pomona or Ontario, CA. Excellent job on the video, flight and touch and go. May I ask if you used an online ground school and which one?
Close! El Monte and just west of Baldwin Park. I’m mostly using text books PHAK and AFH
Congratulations!!
Thank you!!!
Nicely done. Congrats on your first solo!
Thank you very much Benjamin!
Nice, I fly out of KPOC. Love to fly to KEMT from time to time. You familiar with Universal Air Academy?
You'll never forget your first solo as long as you live. You did very well.
Thank you very much!
you are so cute!! i just did my first solo a couple months ago as well, i was so nervous my stomach was hurting lol you did so good!!!! i fly out of a non towered airport so i’m a bit jealous of ur skill to talk to atc lol
Wow I'm so jealous, you are doing a really great job! Congratulations with your first solo!!
Thank you so much!
Well done! Definitely felt my first solo there!
That was beautiful!
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
Ayoooooo LOL. Thanks Tommy!
Congrats! You made it look easy!
Thanks!!
Landings look good. My biggest radio mistake was in response to " are you visual with the Fokker 100 on finals" I'll leave that to your imagination, however there was a lot of giggling in many flight decks around Edinburgh airport at the time... Happy days!
Well done, a memorable milestone in your flying journey, great landings!
Can I ask how you record the audio with ATC please?
congratulations on your first solo grav! I finally got around watching this. I love to see it! you look so chill most of the video too! everyone in the comments got hit by nostalgia lol.
Astrooooo thank you lol!! Thanks for watching and your comment, means a lot.
When you can walk away from your aircraft, it is always a good landing! Brava! 😊
Thank you Andrea!
