In the early 90s I attended the than Diharoa Community School just opposite the Kila Police Barracks and this gentlemen would rehearse during the day. Whilst watching this and listening to the Wan Kantri tune really brought back some childhood memories. Thank you for sharing.

PAPUA NEW GUINANIANS I'M SO VERY VERY PROUD OF YOU!!!
YOU ARE GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED!!!!!
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH.
PROUD TO BE A PAPUA NEW GUINEAN!
Beautiful rhythm on the traditional dance PNG. Superb from Fiji .
Not from Fiji, the dancers are from the Raun Raun Theatre in PNG.
Ah cymbals man, always the highlight of the show. I remember you sir, one time during a performance at the Sogeri National High school's singsing, you gave your conductor's stick to one of the audience and told him to conduct the police band.
Thanks for the memory Mote!
❤️❤️❤️ Grew up listening to the police band every morning...
Every movement seems to represent something very sacred, I wish I knew! 🤷🏼♀️
watching this with Alu Kapa (solo clarinet) and wife....they both send their regards

How can i ever get enough of RPNGC Police Band!
Brings me back to childhood memories when they came and performed at the Primary school I attended in Port Morseby. I really enjoyed it! Love this performance! ❤
OMG I love this. Makes me wanna cry. xx
This was one outing I always look forward to in those days, beautiful memories.❤
If only the constabulary still maintains the momentum and commitment like how it was back then. Though the video is some time back, just watching it gives me pride! I hope the constabulary can revive the police band and give back its former glory. The pride of PNG. 😊
Thank God 👋👋👋 I wholy love the PNG police band
Brought tears to eyes
Simply awesome! I always love listening to the PNG Royal Constabulary Band. The "One country " tune brought a tear to my eyes, thinking of Late John Wong. And the performance by the RaunRaun Theatre is very impressive as always. Thanks for sharing.
Doing it's rounds on Facebook and the internet following Grand Chief's passing. Thanks for sharing.
