David Oistrach is the violinists violinist, everything he plays is simply the best.I fell in love with his playing when I was 10 years old, listening to his performance of the Suk Love song,I am now 75.
nice, considering the original tune this was based on (most probably) was played by a woodwind instrument (or at least that's how the muzsikas ensemble plays it)
David Oistrakh's work is far and away my favorite performances i.e. interpretations of Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances for violin and piano! Far superior to both Henryk Szeryng and Yehudi Menuhin attempts, Oistrakh's performances are perfection in motion!

This is only one of the reasons why Oistrach is my favorite violinist.
I heard a live performance of David Oistrakh in university days and was moved.

Splendid!
bellisima interpretacion.
