New Fog Light Set from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ia-1...
This video shows you how to install fog lights on your 2011-2019 Ford Explorer. Fog lights aim low to light up the road ahead when visibility conditions are foggy, rainy, and snowy. Unfortunately, they are also positioned low to the ground, putting them in harm’s way. If your light has become damaged, you can replace it with an engineered to fit TRQ part, and drive with confidence the next time bad weather strikes.
This repair was done on a 2015 Ford Explorer Sport 3.5L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2011 Ford Explorer
2012 Ford Explorer
2013 Ford Explorer
2014 Ford Explorer
2015 Ford Explorer
2016 Ford Explorer
2017 Ford Explorer
2018 Ford Explorer

Really All you need to unbolt is the 3 bolts on the bottom and you can fold down the plastic enough to work on the fog lights. Saved me alot of time.
Thanks for the idea. Just change mine and this worked just fine and much less time. Thanks!
So you don't need to take the wheel off?
This process is for 2011-2015 explorer. There was a facelift for the 2016-2017 Models, and another minor one for the 2018-2019 models. making it three different fog light designs for this generation explorer
Great video. Very thorough. I appreciate it. Everyone knocking the video because you went through too many steps? Com on guys and gals. If you have the lift and tools in the shop use them. I went in for a simple LED bulb replacement and noticed that the entire fog light was smashed including the plastic mount that wasn’t replaced in the video. So when I receive the replacement parts it’s definitely going on a lift, wheel off, skirt pealed back and standing on my 52 year old feet.
Here’s my question. The plug and play connection to the bulb is also smashed and will not accept a new bulb. Is this an easy replacement?
Would love to see you make this change on the passenger side where the washer fluid tank totally blocks access!
I completely agree. I want to know the same thing.
Homie is doing way too much. He doesnt have to remove the wheel nor the wheel well liner. 😂 he probably charges $400 for this when it only really take less than 30 min to do both sides.
Probably should remove engine and transmission also...
At this point just throw away the car. What a pain.
Maybe it's me but I think you ought to test that bulb before you put everything back together.
Has anyone replaced the glass in front of the bulb? mine is broken
+@markwiebe6101 We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
lol did you strip them out putting the bolts back in...
Bro why did you remove the wheel and detach fog lamp?🗿
This is not the same as 2016-2017 or even 2018-2019
