in this video i will show Leaking Fuel Injection cleaning, most people will tell you to replace it
back in 2014, i had 2009 GMC Acadia and the dealer told me to replace the leaking fuel injectors and cost me close to $1000
but in todays video i will show you HOW TO clean GDI injections if its not sparing well or leaking fuel, and when you have that problem, you will ask ur self why is gas coming out of my exhaust
the injectors not sealing gas and it leaks into the cylinder and comes out from the exhaust

You should go look at how to get those Direct Injectors in and out before you think that this is really DIY. They are NOT easily removed and installed like port injectors.

The addition of ethanol into gasoline now a days makes using OEM O-rings and gaskets even more important, as ethanol is known to corrode rubber components.

    Two quick ultrasonic cleaning tips:
    >Put the injector inside a small plastic bag and fill the bag with the cleaning fluid. Then fill the ultrasonic cleaner full of water and it the bag in the water, means you don't have to fill the ultrasonic cleaner full of cleaning liquid.
    >Never put metal directly on the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaner, it can damage both parts, a think sheet of plastic or paper is enough. Look at the more expensive ultrasonic cleaners and you'll see they have cages to stop objects sitting on the bottom.

a single puff of smoke from the tail pipe thats only there upon first startup is also a leaking nozzle/fuel injector because when you shut it off at night it drips all through the night into the cylinder untill the fuel rail pressure subsides, and makes a pool of gas on the piston top that turns into that puff of smoke when you start it up the next day

A cheap way to clean injectors out is to soak the nozzles in a small cup of injector cleaner. Let them soak for an hour or more if they are nasty. If they are dirty it usually turns the fluid in the cup orange. Once done spray off the nozzle with some parts cleaner spray.

You cannot set metal directly on the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaner, that reflects the energy back into the transducer and you will destroy it. You need to use something to act as a spacer a little plastic tray works great.

  • @IMPORTANTVIDEOS7

My friend turn the injector where its front part is facing down into the liquid so the sonic waves can go up in the little holes that are clogged. You are just laying it on its side and if u clean it also like i pointed out it will allow those holes to really get clean. Just tryin to help.

That cleaner is hard on the rubber, you should remove the gaskets from the injector before throwing them in, also would be ideal to put a piece of plastic between the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaner and the metal part of the injector.

I dont recommend doing on car injector cleaning, my very first car, I got this done, all good, but when I leave my car for a few hours, it had trouble starting, but after a cranking for a while and the battery doesn't die out, the car will start fine. Turn it off, and it will start again fine.
Now if I left it overnight, it will not start in the mornings, battery will die trying to start, if I hook up a jump starter or hook it up to another cars battery, keep cranking and it will eventually start.
Mechanic didnt know what was wrong and they had my car for a week.
Long stoey short, the on car injector cleaning caused the issue, there was no way to test the injectors if they were leaking, because of the fuel pressure, fuel leaked onto my spark plugs making them wet and couldn't get spark. Injectors removed, I had 4 leaking injectors out of the 6.
Get your injectors cleaned outside of the car, then they have the ability to test for flow and leakage, this will save you alot of headache.

Super common, the pros have been doing this for a long time. You can use isopropyl to clean as well...

    Thank you for your videos...
I think after replacing many parts, sensors and miscellaneous costs...far too much money.
    Its the fuel injectors...
So got o ring repair kit, and some cheaper injectors to swap out incase there cracked.
Either way you have been helpful and ive learned a lot.
Wish me luck...its been a painful game of wack a mole.

I just run sea foam in the fuel tank every oil change. Never have had to change an injector on any car in 30 years. Oil change put half a can in the engine before you change your oil, the rest in the fuel tank been doi g that since the mid 1990's, works for me and is 10 bucks.

Apparently there's a seating issue for it to drip afterwards. Which looks like you got it right, running a pure solvent through. The Sonic device?? I do not know much.
But just a note that might be of benefit. Note car engines used to be a cast iron, where now any number are aluminum. But after many miles on older cars, a car would get carbon build up on the cylinder heads, which would make the car run rough, difficult to start, etc. But, what some would do is get car warmed up, then some would choke off top radiator hose so engine would run hot, then they'd have ahold of the throttle rev engine up and pour water into intake. I know for a fact this works as I sunk a car. Not intentionally! Drain the water from crankcase, pull sparkplugs roll engine over, water shot out about 10'. Sprayed WD-40 down carburetor and into cylinders, which it removes water. Put plugs back in,Fill crankcase with new oil. She purred like a kitten like coming off showroom floor.
Now I never heard of it, but some have said that some have had cracked the block doing this. As a whole, I do not believe it was a problem as many used it.
It's my understanding that the water is cool relative to the engine, so it contacts the surface of the metal surface which shrinks in response to cooling, where the carbon does not, so breaks off and gets blown out exhaust.
New aluminum engines????? I do not know how they'd respond.

Try once a year adding 1 quart of ATF to 10 gallons of gas. The detergent in any ATF is one of the most powerful known to man and will clean anything. I've used it for years and I have never had a bad fuel injector.

Hello there . Question for you mr Ali or any tech out there what if I took the car to a tech and he cleaned the injectors but even though it regained part of its hp but still I smell raw gas when starting it or driving it . I took it to another technician who said after doing ultrasonic that i had a faulty injector . After watching your video im wondering if i poured like four bottles of injector’s cleaners in a half full tank , could it fix my fuel leaking ??
Or im wasting time. Point is I couldn’t find new injectors and hesitant to buy used ones but I may need to swallow it at the end if nothing helped .
Another technician said to try ethanol in gas tank !

You could have put something that sinks and takes up the displacement instead of adding more solvent
