Hello. Can you please give me the part number for the 3.0L, 6 valve kit on Denso? I need the package that includes the "retainer rings" you mentioned. Thanks. DC
I did this with my Denso Toyota injectors, same injector pulser, similar ultrasonic cleaner and submerged the injector nearly fully (as he did in the video). Did each injector for around 10 mins taking a break halfway through as everything gets very hot. Rebuilt with new rubbers and pintle caps. Car started misfiring on cylinders with cleaned Injectors. Also started leaking fuel from the body of the Injectors. I had to buy a new set of remanufactured Injectors off eBay, runs perfect now. If you're going to do this, I suggest only submerging the tip of the injector in the ultrasonic bath then manually pulsing through some carb cleaner. Do at your own risk.
When the injectors were in the bath did you connect them to a battery to hold them open? If so, no wonder they got too hot - that would have possibly caused the leaking. You can see in the video that I used an injector tester to pulse the injectors open and closed for about a minute. let themrest and repeat. That should be plenty. When the injectors are in the bath, no fluid is running through them to act as coolant.
Cyd can you please do a step by step of the areas that we can change the vacuum hoses on a B207 engine ? A how to for vacuum hose replacement please ….
Do the entire vacuum system not just some hoses, start with the pump itself. Indeed it would be nice if we had a complete schematic of the vacuum system.
I'm gonna do a video. I suggest using blue vac hose - that way you can see at a glance which ones you've done and not done. You'll need some 4mm and 5mm. A 3m coil of each should do.
regarding the removal of the micro filter. using the filter remover. it can only takeout the plastic part ofmthe original filter. the metal part will remain inside. how can you pull it out? you cannot just leave it inside and just push the new filter because it will cover the half of the new filter when you tap it in and the flow of the gas will not be normal as before.
Hi, I have a Honda Civic 2012 1.4 I-VTEC EX. I was wondering if it is possible to rebuild its injectors? If so, is there a link you can send for the rebuild kit required? We are based in London. Other than that, is there another solution? I have checked the injectors, one has an electric problem the other doesnt spray but I can hear the ticks.
No video yet, but I am trialing something at the moment to see how effective it is (got a 100 mile motorway dash coming up in a month and hoping for HOT weather for the test run). It's something cheap and easy to do, so fingers crossed it has a positive effect. Assuming it seems to work, a video will follow.
This is very good but if you don't change the pump low pressure mesh pre filter and the high pressure side filter you may still encounter a problem with acceleration. And the end side of the fuel rail where gunk usually piles up.😅
If your microfilter is clogged, you'll be replacing that from the kit, but otherwise you'll need to clean them as well. With age, the o-rings become prone to small air leaks so there's a big benefit in replacing them. Follow this guide to clean the injectors ruclips.net/video/8rHmN2AC_mk/видео.html. It's cheap and easy to do.
Thanks for the video(along with all other video helpful videos too) I recently discovered that my Opel Signum 2.0 T has the same Saab 9-3 B207 L engine. That’s how I found your video, thank goodness. When I took the injectors out the outer sleeve came out with it. It also has an O-Ring. Your kit unfortunately doesn’t include the O-Rings. Can anyone help me out with the measurements for this outer sleeve O-Rings please? I’ve measured(with the ones on it) and came to the conclusion that it might be 20mm(I/D) and 3.5mm(C/S). It would be great if someone could confirm or correct. Thanks. Regards, Gracious
Huh❓ The kits have the upper and lower o-rings, so I'm not sure what you mean. Are you certain you have the same Denso injectors? Get my email from the 'about' section and send me some pictures. Try to get the injector markings in one of the pics.
Thanks for the reply. I was referring to the Siemens/deka one which you offer with both O-rings and filter basket. The sleeves sit on the engine block. The outer o-ring on the sleeves seal the injector from outside debris. The o-rings directly on the injectors(bottom ones which is included in the kit) seals the inside part of the sleeves. „The sleeves are like a bucket and the injector are placed inside the bucket“ Will send you the picture.
Don't know, but the siemans green fitted to earlier B207Rs were 176ml/30s, these will be similar if not a shade more 'cos they are fitted for bio fuel engines
@@CycloneCyd is there any chance when replacing the stock injectors on the video with the green ones fitted to earlier B207R without a remap and sometimes after 1-2 hours of riding the car record P0201-04 Codes?
@@badrhari14 Normally those codes mean the ECM has had it, BUT I don't know if changing the injectors from Denso to Bosch would also cause them. Can you fit the Densos back in to see? Service them first though
My injector problem was fuel leaking up through the electrical contacts and coating the pins, then turning into varnish. I'm guessing that's not fixable with a rebuild kit! LOL
YES, for the Denso: www.buymeacoffee.com/cyclonecyd/e/79386 If you need the Bosch blue or green, get in touch by email (see 'about' from Homepage), I can get those at the same price.
But one thing you havent mention is why your servicing them in the first place In my opinion shouldn't use silicon grease as it could mess with 02 sensor ( if ya look a head gasket sealants you can get same issue )
Over time and use, the injector pintle becomes blocked with deposits and also wears. This affects spray pattern and fuel metering resulting in poor atomisation. O rings harden and split or shrink and leak.
As I told you earlier, did "sealing" service for Bosch but I didn't get inside of injectors cause I didn't know. Could you also do kits for the Bosch injectors?
