this makes me so happy. i’ve always wondered if a theme was chosen for a certain type of episode or if they were chosen at random. @1:35 is my jam.
On the wiki page it says 25 music cues were for the title screen, and that they were just rotated.
"Over the title card, one of about 25 brief musical cues evoking the closing theme is played."

It's jazz. I think what you meant to ask is what is the name of short pieces of music like this called. I'm still searching.
