One of the most delightful things about this and the most scale is rochobby put the front axle far enough forward. Like it’s supposed to be. Makes me wish they’d do a 1/6 FJ40 next because hardly anyone gets the axle placement vs the body right on that one. I think WPL comes closest but even then it’s not quite right. And we know how good this looks with wraith axles. Just imagine that look on the landcruiser

I have the '41 Willy's MB Jeep and it already has a GI Joe driver as well. But what I'd like to know is what do you use to secure the female passenger down with ? I like the female and male together. Where can I find this military female ? 😎
I'm impressed as to the MB's durability ! I would have thought those flimsy front or rear bumpers would have broken during that trail ride ! Nice work !

I’m on the case! So far I bought the Hobby Wing Quickrun Fusion system for it and changing to Traxxas Sport shocks and the Traxxas 400 metal gear servo, back lights, back magnets and the receiver to use the FlySky

If you were to modify it, what do you recommend? During the war, the US marine corps were sometimes issued slightly fatter tires for their jeeps but aside from looking better, idk much about them. Are there any scale tires that would fit these wheels?
They do sell some scale accessories for it. I changed the servo to a Traxxas 400 and changed the shocks to Traxxas TRX4 Sport shocks. I’m putting in a HobbyWing Fusion 1800kv motor/esc. I put Bronco wheels on it .. there must be scale MB specific wheels available ... I changed them for function rather than realism
Also changed the receiver so I can use the FlySky GT5 with it ... makes it much easier to control

@@RickysGarageVibes I designed adapters for the wheels and put Jeep MB dual wheels front AND back. From the side it looks like a normal Jeep...from the front it looks Abbie-Normal and mean. Nyms.

Did you do this whole run on one battery
All on one charge! The battery is 5200mAh 11.1v 50c
My well used 3s 2200mah lipo runs for around 50 minutes, so a 5200mAh will last a couple of hours no problem.... 👍
