i appreciate the honesty about the coating difference on the colors, a lot of people are making it seem like the white is so much better, and i also agree they could of introduced a new line of mice with this shape instead of replacing the viper shape, two different grip styles
yeah I've started to feel like the v3 pro kind of fits my hand better than the superlight, but, the bigger hump kind of makes my vertical recoil control in some games a little bit hard. but i really love it so far, might consider using it for quite a while and switch back to the superlight to see how it feels
compared to the gpx, would you say the v3 pro feels bigger? I'm especially sceptical about the front flaring out to the sides a lot and the mouse being 2mm longer
My reliable Razer Viper was starting to fail me, so I bought a Viper V3 and I just couldn't get used to it. Because the shape wasn't as flat, it meant that my hands no longer fit it like the older models. I couldn't make the same micro adjustments because of the different palm size and weight in games that I usually make with my fingers. After playing for a while with the new shape too, the flatter edges and the raised height made my ring finger kind of sore. It's probably because my ring finger doesnt have a groove to settle in anymore :c I ended up returning it. I might have to search for a Viper Ultimate, V2 or just go for the Cobra. Sucks they're zoning out the old shape though.

Nice! Other reviewers says coating on the white viper v3 pro feels rubberized and sticky like on the Kone pure ultra and they prefer it! To be honest , everyone also said they can feel a difference in the sensor compared to DAV3 Pro 3950 Focus gen1 sensor. Are you playing CS2 at all?As that's where you can feel the tracking difference and the End of movement sensor delay 5.0ms on the DAv3 pro even at 8k hz.
You’ll notice zero difference in your gameplay going from one sensor to the other. Zero. Also, the additives in the white are what make it feel unnatural. I prefer the black

WARNING: Good mouse, but the feet are super scratchy. Order third-party skates if you buy this mouse! I'm personally returning it for the OP1 8k. My previous mouse (Viper v2 Pro) didn't have this problem... The Deathadder v3 Hyperspeed's skates are soooooo good compared to both Viper v2 and v3 Pro. Too bad the shape isn't for me. If you don't mind ergo mice and the shape fits you, I recommend the Deathadder v3 Hyperspeed a thousand fold over this one! + Better skates (smooth af on my Aqua Control+) + Better side buttons (much more snappy compared to Viper v2/v3 Pro) + Better scroll wheel + Around a 100 bucks. With 8k dongle still cheaper than the Viper v3 Pro - No included 8k dongle, but purchasable via Razer. - Stiff and short cable, but you can buy a good paracord USB from a third-party seller. The cable on the Viper v3 Pro is a longer paracord, but still very stiff, so if you wanna use a cable, neither are good imo = In terms of sensors etc, you're genuinely not gonna feel a difference. Even between 4k and 8k, the difference is small.

great review man, got my copy this morning and love it but my M5 doesn't click, it registers the use of it but doesn't actually click in or out. Seems like a few people on twitter and Razer discord are having some click issues with M1 and M2 as well.
can you check if your mouse scroll moves left and right side when you push it? like it wobbles a little but not to the point that it makes wobbling sound when you shake it.
I just was planning to get the Superlight 2 until this came out I've never bought a mouse for gaming purposes, so I don't have any reference at all, afaik both them have the same price tag, so what do you recommend for me Fresh?
I think Razer Viper V3 Pro is a direct FU to Logitech's GPX. Blantly coping their shape as they have done in the past. Razer hopes to gain Logitech market share. Especially, GPX 2 was a total let down.
They updated the shape because it’s better for more people that’s the whole point. Gpx is the safest shape for all players, the new viper shape is designed to be safer for everyone. That’s your answer on the shape.
Oh no trust me. I don’t disagree with what they’ve released at all. It’s great. I just think it deserves its own name and it’s just a little confusing if the old viper is completely done.

I keep going back and forth. The viper’s build quality is definitely better, no doubt. The wight difference is noticeable. The shapes are just different enough that I wouldn’t say one is “better” than the other. Just different. Long term though I trust razer more lol

@@FreshReviewsYT Got you brother , soon to find out as I have ordered one viper v3 pro and one beast x max .. and already have dav3 pro and gpx 1 .. would go with the Finalmouse Ultralight X honestly but the QC issues is so disturbing!!! I have posted your review on my socials, thanks again for your work!
ruclips.net/video/lQCuJuB4-No/видео.html he also says the input delay of the sensor is much better than dav3 pro .. And then you say zero difference .. Idk man , I'll let u know what I think tomorrow when I get the viper.
@@FreshReviewsYT Brother , just wanted to say - if you can't feel the sensor difference between Viper v3 pro and Dav3 pro (3950hs vs 3970) you gotta be playing eyes closed mate seriously lol and the white coating absolutely rocks!Best I've ever felt after almost every FPS approved mice you can think of for over 15 years. Just my 2 cents and you can see cs2 pros mostly using the white one for a reason even tho it's 1g heavier but you don't need tape grips:) Obviously, it's all about what feels best in your hand! Black is super smooth tho. Cheers!
So they did mention they spent time with 100s of Pro Players on deciding for shape and stuff... I assume this is what most people voted for in terms of "professional performance" and all that jazz
damn fresh i see the cyberboard very nice man
i was thinking of getting either this or sora v2, which one do you think is good? i play 131 grip, mostly apex
Super tough to say. If you kinda like the gpx I’d try this
Sora may be the wave. I find mice with side walls and deep grooves on the main triggers to be very unappealing for 1-3-1 as i have to bunch up my fingers.
nice videoooo mate ❤
Ty!
Do you know when a new design is released for glsswrks ?
Hi fresh. Amazing review as always. some offtop question what would u prefer on raiden xsoft jade or tiger ice dots ? Im about ask this question on stream but cant catch u online.
I might honestly almost prefer full
Size on xl just because the dots might sink into the pad
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks alot. i just enjoy dots alot. like u can put 2-3 on each side. i guess ill try jade because i stuck with tiger ice for 3+ years
Is there new glass mouse pad In the coming period ?
Glssworks will have more design s
Looking for something to replace my viper mini SE so i can ditch razer for good, but i love the shape too much
WARNING: Good mouse, but the feet are super scratchy.
+ Better skates (smooth af on my Aqua Control+)
+ Better side buttons (much more snappy compared to Viper v2/v3 Pro)
+ Better scroll wheel
+ Around a 100 bucks. With 8k dongle still cheaper than the Viper v3 Pro
- No included 8k dongle, but purchasable via Razer.
- Stiff and short cable, but you can buy a good paracord USB from a third-party seller. The cable on the Viper v3 Pro is a longer paracord, but still very stiff, so if you wanna use a cable, neither are good imo
= In terms of sensors etc, you're genuinely not gonna feel a difference. Even between 4k and 8k, the difference is small.
they should have called this the cobra and just dump the cobra all together lol
Nice video, just one question, where can I buy your mousepad?
It’s a limited run but more designs are coming. Check glsswrks
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks!
I had a viper mini that died on me recently, now Im using my VGN F1 Moba untill i get a viper mini replacement. What would you suggest, i basically want a bigger (not too much tho) viper mini. Shpuld I get the ultimate (is it outdated), V2 Pro, V3 Pro or a logitech GP superlight 2?
Love the review bro. What's the cheapest HE keyboard that you'd recommend?
Polar65 for sure
bro you havent said anything about your upcoming ziigat colab.
🙌🏽
great review man, got my copy this morning and love it but my M5 doesn't click, it registers the use of it but doesn't actually click in or out. Seems like a few people on twitter and Razer discord are having some click issues with M1 and M2 as well.
damn! Very interesting!
Old death adder was the goat. I'll never forget it :(
Although the shape of the viper changed. I like it a little better when it comes to control. Personal opinion ofc
They're shooting themself in the foot with the naming scheme.
can you check if your mouse scroll moves left and right side when you push it? like it wobbles a little but not to the point that it makes wobbling sound when you shake it.
I just was planning to get the Superlight 2 until this came out
I've never bought a mouse for gaming purposes, so I don't have any reference at all, afaik both them have the same price tag, so what do you recommend for me Fresh?
Both great.
I saw on Linsoul your collab , ziigaat arete, congrats man👍 wish you the best
Tysm!!!
Maybe similar to a X2 medium feeling? 🤔
Quite different. X2 thinner and smaller.
What are those two mice on the far right? Custom GPXs?
On my copy the left and right buttons feels kinda weird- it’s like heavy - mushy and crisp at the same time. Anyone with that problem ?
I've seen other people saying this too for me it's fine I think it's BC of the first batches but no one knows... 🤔
I think Razer Viper V3 Pro is a direct FU to Logitech's GPX. Blantly coping their shape as they have done in the past. Razer hopes to gain Logitech market share. Especially, GPX 2 was a total let down.
Do you use any sort of spatial audio solution with your headphones? I personally use atmos and can't play any game with surround output without it.
I don’t
They updated the shape because it’s better for more people that’s the whole point. Gpx is the safest shape for all players, the new viper shape is designed to be safer for everyone. That’s your answer on the shape.
Oh no trust me. I don’t disagree with what they’ve released at all. It’s great. I just think it deserves its own name and it’s just a little confusing if the old viper is completely done.
Nice video again fresh. 560s, epos h6pro open, or pc38x, which one is better for playing valorant??
For valorant it’s anyone of them. Small maps with common angles. I do prefer iems for Val because some sessions can get sweaty and long lol
@@k.w5804 Did you have them? did you tried it on valorant?
The only decent option is the 560
IEMs do work very well for val
its a new age mamba more than a viper
I loved the Viper ult rn I’m a ULX cheeta do you think it would be worth to switch? Like I looooveed the viper ult I used it for 2 years
It’s worth a try. It’s a good mouse
I easily prefer the white coating over the bkack
Most people probably will (at first).
Razer Viper V3 Pro or Razer Deathadder V3 Pro? I can't decide at all. 19.5cm x 10.2cm hand. Claw grip variation.
If you’re claw gripping, the viper.
@@FreshReviewsYT I thought Deathadder was better for claw because of the hump? Sorry just a bit confused
Hi, if you ever used the SE - how does the viper v3 pro compare to the viper mini signature edition? For FPS ofc and excluding the price difference.
Very different. The mini will feel flat. Thin and smaller
have you ever heard about the iems called ND-DD3
they have these 3 physical slider that allows you pick pick what curve you want from 3 pre programmed curve
i wonder if its any good in games
Haven’t yet
nd dd3 is not good buy kz krila or kz zvx for gaming
Hey @FreshReviews, what's mouses you recommend if i fingertip?
Tough call! Really depends on hand size. I’m a little over 21.5 and like the beast x
@@FreshReviewsYT Cool thanks, my hand size is like 18-19cm, should i go for the small then :O, and just add the grip tape they have to increase the width
That low key cyberboard flex though 😎🤑
Haha nooo not trying to flex but it has been awhile since I reaaaaallllyyy wanted a keyboard. Love this thing!
@@FreshReviewsYT Its such a beautiful and crazy board!
@@Desmond987 it really is haha
I like the faker coating so should i get black or white?
Probably white. But if you haven’t tried the smooth touch coating the black might be worth a try. It’s addicting
seems dope
Any changes to the scroll wheel? Will it crap itself after like 6 months? Both of v2 pros did that to me.
It seems ok so far
I love my white viper v3 pro im ngl but WHAT IS THAT KEYBOARD? ITS BEAUTIFUL.
Hahaha thanks. It’s the cyber board r4
i bought v3 black but its so hot and sweaty compared to v2 black.
Should i consider switch to v3 white ?
And why v3 is generating so much heat suddenly
I don’t know what you mean as I don’t have that issue. I would try the white.
Hi may I know what mousepad you use in the video ?
Akari
look how they massacred my boy viper mini wireless (i will forever shill the viper mini shape) great video tho mr fresh!
Ty!
Fresh please help me. Would you say the shape between the Fantech Helios II and the viper v3 pro are very similar?
No they’re not
Would the V3 pro be an upgrade over the Dareu A950 pro or should I just get the Hyperspeed V3?
I think it would be an upgrade yea.
Got this yesterday and it immediately felt like an upgrade from my L ULX.
How’s the shape feel compared to the L. Bet the build quality feels much better
I keep going back and forth. The viper’s build quality is definitely better, no doubt. The wight difference is noticeable. The shapes are just different enough that I wouldn’t say one is “better” than the other. Just different.
Long term though I trust razer more lol
hi ! i been using the g pro superlight for years now and ive had maybe 5 or 6 of them because the left sidebutton keeps going inside the mouse so something inside breaks and i hate it. i love the mouse but i think i spam the left sidebutton too hard, do u think the viper v3 would be a better option ?
Probably yea. It’s a different shape as a result of the hump and where it hits but it’s worth a try. It’s in the same size bracket
Got mine today the clicks aren’t good imo. Too hard. Pre travel pretty high on my unit and post travel. Might return this and try the zowie u2. The shape is better then the v2 tho
I don't get the glazing for this. for 100$ less you get the exact same mouse but 12g heavier with better clicks in the v3 hyperspeed. The U2 is a much better mouse imo unless you cAnT PlAY WitHoUGhT 4k/8k placebo person.
The shape is very important. U2 ftw
Black one bas lighter clicks idk why
I like wrapping my ring finger on the edge-corner of the superlight, how does the edge of the viper v3 mouse feel? The DAV3 I couldn't use it because of the sharper edges, is it the same for this mouse?
It’s a more pointed edge
@@FreshReviewsYT Finally caved to my mouse addiction and bought it. I thought the edge would be an issue like DAV3 but its not at all. Loving this mouse more than the GPX2
man new vid and I even have tacos let‘s gooo
Tacos ftw!!!!
I like both GPX 2 and V3 PRO but confused to buy i am new to fps gaming
which is best for competitive Fps and future proof
Whichever shape you prefer. Both are just as good
@@FreshReviewsYT I am beginner to fps , my hand size is (19x10 cm)
I have doubt on V3 PRO size how is V3 Pro compared to GPX 2 for valorant or say about both pros & cons
@@rexzo2683 what did you decide?
What about the coating?? I had the white DAV3 and its coating was trash it made me nervous about razer’s mice 😥
Coatings are good
