Wow, I’m really happy this came up in my RUclips recommendations. I’ve been writing, recording and performing music for my whole adult life and decided I’m going to pursue sync licensing in 2020. I’m doing as much research as I can and even this short video was really helpful. Thanks for sharing it!
There really isn't a formula for this, it's all in the feel of a song. Generally, faster tempos can equate to excitement but can also be used effectively for fear. Slower tempos work for sadness, but can also work for beauty or love. It's important not to assume a tempo sets the emotional stage for the song except for the generalities. I hope that helps.
We're actually a website that teaches people how to get their music into TV & film. We don't do any recording here, but if you're interested in online recording, we have a sister site called Sundown Sessions Studio sundownsessionsstudio.com that does exactly this. Just drop an email to info@sundownsessionssstudio.com with any questions you have. Thanks!
Hi Angelina, if you are asking me the trick is using monitors that help mixes translate to other systems well. Find a monitor that works really well for you and then be sure to also check your mixes on other speakers as well before committing, for example in the car etc. I hope that helps.
I really enjoy your videos, your guest’s are so very informative and honest 🙏🙏
thanks for that
These interviews are great! And you do a great job as a listener and asking all the right questions 👍🏼

Hi, do you have any Advice on your mixing process as far as translating to other speakers. What is your mix approach. Thanks for your time.
Hi Angelina, just to be clear when you say other speakers, do you mean other languages? Thanks, Chris
