Hi Andrew, I think they would be fine doing Dales Gorge (which encompasses Circular Pool, Fortescue Falls & Fern Pool) and Hamersley Gorge. I also think they'd probably be fine doing Weano Gorge but if you decide to do the Handrail Pool Section, I'd use caution climbing down the rail. I'd highly recommend some really good grippy shoes. The first part of Hancock Gorge would be fine but towards the end with the Spider Walk, it can be realllly slippery - someone actually slipped and hit their head when we were there, thankfully they were okay but I'm not sure I'd do it with children but in saying that it depends on how much water is flowing through so if it's quite dry it might be ok. We didn't do Kalamina or Joffre so I can't comment on those but I hope that info helps! :)
@@zaylatwine4220 Thanks for the in-depth response. Very much appreciated. Yes, the Spider Walk does look a bit sketchy. Which is a shame because the reward looks amazing. Happy travels.
@@andrewgriffiths2317 you're more than welcome :). The other do-able gorges are just as beautiful so I'm sure you'll still have a great time. Enjoy Karijini!
Hi Zayla,
How do you think two 10 year olds would go through the gorges? Is it safe for kids, or would you pick and choose which ones to do?
Thanks.
