Playing through as a nomad and going with Panam in the end felt like a solid good story of a man leaving his family and trying to fit in to another all while dying. I know the game has issues but the nomads really won me over and made me like them haha. Currently just started up my Corpo play through and I’m hoping it has a similar effect in the long run.
Corpo ending with nomad was mine but it also felt right that in the corpo you pretty much tossed all friends and family away except Jackie to get somewhere and once you're dying you realize that you wanted a family around just someone to be with in your final moments, and you end up going Panam's crew/family.
Corpo plus Pnaam ending was great. You begin in the soulless manufactured heart of things, and then find something real in a nomad family beyond the city limits
Nomad life is the best life, honestly had more acknowledgements of my background as a nomad and effects cause of it than people made me think. Maybe it’s just that way for nomad? Idk but I definitely got a great experience and am gonna play again
the best one? the nomad, at least you do more shit, a little driving, a little shooting. they are all too short goddamn
not onley short, but if u play the game...no mater the path... game kinda ignors that...besite the main story in rest...neee
And you also get that car back for free if you go to that trash place, nomad and streetkid shows cool ways how you meet Jackie

All paths lead to street kid though. Nomad V doesn't put his skill as a mechanic or smuggler to use in Night City. Corpo V doesn't immediately start chatting up Militech when Arasaka starts making moves on them. In every context, V becomes just another street level merc who immediately adopts the same street slang and overall demeanor. Nomad V doesn't speak like someone raised in the wilderness. Corpo V doesn't speak like someone who has had the best upbringing. All the paths are pointless!

I like corpo the most because you escape arasaka, and then since you go through all the dialogue with corpos like takemura you have more important dialogue options.
I agree. That’s why I love Corpo the most outta all three of intros.
You start as a corp then are a street gang, and then you can become a Nomad
Regardless tho Nomad still the best Opening becuz at the start you already driving and getting action (And Don’t forget the Drip in the beginning clothes and the Time Skip training montage)

Played through on all life paths and corpo while having the most swag is probably the least fun of the three.
@@k-fedd the corpo dialogue options are pretty cool cause you know way more about arasaka then the street kid or the nomad
I like the idea of a Corpo V romancing Judy and then choosing The Star ending to leave Night City and join The Aldecaldos as a nomad.

Nomad is the best one, it looks like an opening to a comedy featuring two unlikely bffs.
For sure. I was cracking up throughout the whole intro. V and Jackie being nervous about smuggling the iguana while both trying to pretend they've done it before, the beginning with the cop and the mechanic, the ending. It all starts like a sitcom

Nomad is quite good for Panam story, moreover V feels more like a main character. Corpo, my favourite, is way more attached to Jackie which is the first NPC we stats to interact and get sentimental later in the story. Street kid is like a hybrid between those 2. To be honest, i rather to be a normal guy who lived in night city for a long time and achieve the dream that you and Jackie dreamed for a lot of time. I don't like cliché endings like the one with Panam

Honestly out of all of them the Corpo beginning seems so long and drung out..
But with the street kid and nomad.. nomad seemed the funnest

I always though that it was weird that even though street kid is the path that the developers clearly wanted people to pick its the one that makes the least amount of sense in the prologue. Like why would street kid V move in with Jackie? They had like 2 conversations at least with nomad and corpo it makes more sense nomad your new in town and don’t really have anyone and corpo you literally lost everything and it’s implied you and Jackie have history.
Chose streetkid. The dialogue options you have makes V sound tuff
It's annoying how you can't stay your own like with the corpo you always get outed, street kid you get busted like bruh
... the point of the intros is to serve roleplay, not to change the entire fucking game xd if you stayed corpo or nomad you literally NEVER do ANY of the game KEKW

Cut content? What cut content? XD The path intro that only serve for roleplay purposes since the main genre of the game is ROLEPLAY?
Plus u do find characters from the corpo path for example and more importantly some dialogues open certain things based on your path xd

streetkid was probably the worst story for me, V left night city to atlanta then it wasnt good and V came back? just go anywhere far away from night city........ V just went back to night city just to get killed by a chip
Well they were all like 2 minutes long, and had no effect. Might as well as given us the Mass Effect treatment. Only mentioned in dialogue and one or two quests. Better than teasing us with something incomplete. Or better yet, why even bother with lifepaths in the first place?
I'm wondering if they actually designed lifepaths to be like that or what we got is just a compromised version because of time constraints?
The cinematic it's epic, but ruins the livepath
