I am going Corpo, because it's the only one in which V and Jackie have a pre-existing friendship. So it makes what happens to Jackie all the more poignant. Also, there's something to be said for the story of the guy who lost everything, and fighting to get it all back.
@@tiredkirbo423 Yeah. I still replay from time to time and Corpo is the best way to go. You get some interesting convos with Dakota and Panam if you do a Nomad, but nothing big. I think the ONLY thing I remember about Street Kid is being able to walk past a bouncer to get into a club but you can deal with that plenty of ways that are just as easy. Corp has the most unique dialogues and the most relevant to the story.
When you start as a street kid you will have options to deal with the clandestine world of night City, when you start as a corpo I imagine you will have options to deal with the.. "corpo" type of people of night City xD, but starting as a nomad you will know almost nothing about the City and almost no one that lives there. I will go nomad as my first character because of that.
Same. Makes the most sense role-playing wise for the player. I know next to nothing about the city and the locations in it. So 1st time through would make sense to be a nomad. Plus that life style appeals to me.
Nomad feels more like me, relatable in being new to the city and living on the outskirts, the way of life resonates with me as well traveling is in my blood... otherwise street kid all the way (;
Nomad: A story of a person, who knows values of family and relationshionships, someone who had been oppresed by corporations for his entire life, but now is sick of it and will sick for justice and will eventually mature, will get supercar, upgrades, money but still keeping values. Always was a good person. Street kid: A story of a person, who tries to survive for their entire life, has done awful and great things, always ready to be thrown into the dump and always ready to stand up for themself. Corpo: A story of person, who had been an psychopath for their entire life, until their fall and getting a different perspective on what a human they are.
I think I would start as a Nomad, as a player I'm not suppose to know how to navigate in the city which will also be the case for a Nomad character. After finishing the game I would play a new game but now I know the street as a player so I'll play a Street Kid char because they know the street like me. Then again once this 2nd playthrought is done I'll play a Corpo kid, with the NG+ systeme I could keep my upgrade wich make sense for a corpo char because they're rich that'll explain why I have so much upgrade since the begining. On another hand I can play Nomad - Corpo - Street since I think a corpo char won't know the street like a Street kid would same thing during a 2nd playthrough, so a 3rd playthrough as a street kid will make more sense because you know the street better than your 1st and 2nd playthrough. In a 3rd hand we can say that the Corpo char was a Street Kid then he know alot of things about the street
Dude couldn't decide for Corpo or nomad but with this I feel like going the way you said and start as a female parts but may change that cause you can change it in the game
Im going corporate for my first playthrough, then nomad for my second and streetkid for the third. I feel like going in this order will really give me a great perspective of cyberpunk life
I think I’ll actually be going the opposite way :) Street Kid first, Nomad second, Corpo third. Mostly because I’m afraid I might love whoever the Corpo restricted romance option is lol. (Or they might not even be available to my gender but I’m not willing to risk it)
@@disconnectedcable9084 as I understand some characters will only be romancable if you're their preferred gender, lifestyle and if you go about romancing the right way
Same but I think I wanna do nomad first, cause he’s more new to the city, and corpo second. Then by the time I’m a street kid, I’ll know the city as well as he would.
Is a shame how much people talked about how much time they would spend creating a character and the lifepath they would choose, 5 months ago. But now we know that doesnt mean nothing at all, just a diferent intro and dialogue choices that dont change anything.
Definitely Nomad first. I've always been a bit of a loner or outcast, so I fit that vibe easy. Plus there's nothing cooler than some random nomad entering night city and becoming one of the most feared melee users (samurai) within it
@@cyberwarlock4084 Corps are the biggest gangsters, lmao. They take money from the lower class, control the media, can do nearly everything without consequences. No different from any other gangsters that's from the slum. A lot of people in the gang life really only look out for them selfs. unless your a family gang/ culture based gang.
Jack Ness Jack Ness nah street kid is the Real g here. The street kid has lived in the Streets and know all the gangs in and out. They grew up in the Streets
@@noahball5342 The street kid knows who and what gangs to avoid. But v in this story isnt affiliated with any gang members. So I doubt he knows more then just the basics.
@@frankzsausage1560 I think you can‘t really compare these life paths to Blade Runner properly, because it is rather something in between street kid and corp. Since Rick Deckard is nothing of a buisness man, like I think the corp life path is ment to be played and lives in, I‘d say not the wealthiest living conditions, like Tyrell does.
@@professorjones9559 well true but tbh from all 3, corporate is just what’s really the closest to a blade runner background which is to fight for what you think is right against the status you obtained, maybe not a Rick Deckard similar background but an officer k one
@@frankzsausage1560 Probably you are right, but i‘m still unsure what to play first, but at the end we all will play the game thru three times. Firstly I defently want to be a Blade Runner/altered carbon style charackter, but in one playthrough also a cyberpunk cowboy xD, so... yeah
Imma be corpo and roleplay as Detective Miller type character from The Expanse: a kid who came from nothing but worked his way up to the government, but then came back to his roots.
Imagine wanting to play as a corporate trust fund baby instead of being a badass survivor who rides through the night, this comment was made by Nomad gang.
A nomad is a person who doesn't stay at one place for too long, a wanderer. They're a traveler going from place to place with nothing but the shirt on their back and traversing the wastes with their trusty automotive steed. Seems like an apocalyptic type character, a survivor. I can imaging that seeing the city for the first time will be fitting for a first play through with the nomad imo. I think I'd like the nomad more because of how I'd get to see how the character reacts to the big city and as an outsider it will be interesting from a gaming perspective too.
I’m confused what do u mean as if nothing ever happened cause I picked street kid and beat the story so if I pick corpo or nomad will I essentially just have the same missions and meet the same characters I met in the street kid story ?

I'm definitely gonna play through all of these, but for my first play through I'll just roll a dice or something. You don't get to choose where you grow up so I'd like to have an organic character where I decide how I want to play based on my environment.
Me: waits years for cyberpunk to release, buys the game 3 months early, watches for every piece of news about it and reads the book Also me: when the game releases, stares at life path choice for 5 hours, can't decide between street kid and nomad
@@TheDom998 I don't really want to play a corpo. I'm not feeling the capitalistic nature of the corpo 1%. Although I'm sure eventually I'll end up with a corpo playthrough. Have fun tho!! So looking forward to the game!! :)
I’d say stick with nomad for your first play through. The experience of never being to night city before and traveling there from the outside is something we are all actually doing. You can of course do whatever you want and all the starts are gonna be badass.... but..... for a feeling of being an outsider to the city is seriously appealing to me because I feel like an outsider right now to it because I haven’t walked the streets yet.
Street kid all the way. Making my way up the ladder. Born in the city Live in the city Die in the city Edit: This is the most likes I've ever gotten. Thx 👍
I’m honestly gonna start with the street kid. Nomad isn’t that of thing for me since I hate starting off slowly and with little to no things to do. Corpo sounds cool, being one of those who start off at the top and maybe turning your back on the people you’ve always worked with, but that’s like starting with too much. Street is in the middle. Not too much, but not too little either
Actually, if we're talking alignment, I'd put my Corpo as True Neutral like how a sociopath would do anything as long as it benefits him. So if I can benefit from being a good person, I'll be good, if it's better to be bad, then I'll be bad, if I have to follow the rules to get to my objective, I'll follow it and if I have to break the rules, then I'll break it. I'm actually inspired by real sociopaths for my corpo characters, I remember reading an AMA on Reddit by a sociopath and somebody asked him why he never killed anyone and he replied that it's because the likelihood of getting caught and thrown to jail is too high to take the risk and since he wouldn't profit from being in jail that's why he never killed anyone. Same with friendship, if he'd benefit from being your best friend, he'll be your best friend ever but as soon as he doesn't get anything from that friendship anymore, then you'll become nothing to his eyes but a burden. Same with romance and everything else. So here you go guys, that's how I plan on playing my corpo, basically whatever it takes to get to my goal, the end justify the means kind of mentality.
@@user-nc4yb8rd3g No footage has been released for the exact start for any of them. They do show bits of each. The garage scene is the Nomad start, The car jacking scene is the Street kid start, The landing ontop of the club scene is the Corpo start. I just feel that the topic of discussion in the video should line up with the specific scene it refers too because at first it confused me.
For me I’ll go with a nomad with a quest to prove himself and make the corporations fear him specially considering he hates how the corpors treat others below them, and he’ll make sure they’ll be the ones groveling before he coldly executes them. He’ll evolve from using his old car to a more modern cyber bike by honoring his tribe, but still keeping the values taught to him, his icon is more important to him since he is a big samurai fan and wears the clothes proudly, one of the few possessions he keep close, next to his cut and gun. Also little cybernetics cept for the arms and eyes. Feeling that he doesn’t need anything else but the skills and techniques they’ve learned throughout their live Corpo: as a person who knew the Arasaki corporation. They knew how to manipulate others. But once they want something they’ll take it willingly or unwillingly and night city will be their’s to rule and to make their own. Definitely more of a cold blooded assassin compared to the more tactical style nomad
I will go corporate on my first playthrough the reason is simple corporations in this game universe rules the world and i am pretty sure the late game will have a few big corporations as either the enemy or at least as an interested party. But street kid sounds awesome too, i mean the allure of climbing up in the world from the very bottom is really tempting.
Yeah, Corpo is definitely me. Although, unlike everyone else, I’m going to at least try to be a likable Corpo in Night City. I don’t know if that’s possible, but I’ll try. After all, some Corpos are worse than others. I may actually side with Militech if I get fucked over by Arasaka, which, let’s be honest, will most likely happen. Hell, if Johnny Silverhand & Morgan Blackhand worked with them, they might not be all that bad. Another way I could earn Night City’s respect is side with the Voodoo Boys to take down Netwatch. Trust me, go watch Kazuliski’s video lore on Netwatch, & you’ll understand why. I know this sounds like wishful thinking, but hey, I’d much rather be a likable rich person than a selfish, elitist, stereotypical snob any day. I always loved likable rich characters.
@@JonesyCreations Well, I didn't mean to "talk like so egotistical Chad," I just wanted to give my opinion about what I want my character to be and why. I'm not looking to try and get laid here, geez.
You guys are gloryfying this game way to much. Many people have seen gameplay and to be honest looks really damm unfinished and kinda dead when it comes to NPC and AI interactions.
The answer to this is easy. Whatever path the person wants. Then, after their first play through, try a different one. Then, do it a third time with the last one. I would make a crappy RUclips influencer. That would be my answer for all games.
@JustChizzin Normal? If the game is easy up the difficulty? I play to optimize, love making a build that matches my playstyle and feels strong, I select whatever difficulty is challenging to me, which often is hard, sometimes extreme, sometimes normal.
My 1st character will be my attempt at Albert Wesker: a corpo male, modded to the point of being so OP that he can dodge bullets ala matrix and punch all the way through people. Also glowing eyes behind "agent" style sunglasses and a suit is a badass look.
This is why I can't record gameplay lmao. I have to spend 2 hours in character creation getting more anxious by every passing second because I'm not actually in the game.
So the most important thing to me here from a storytelling pov is that you can start with one life path and transition between them depending on decisions, etc. I'm really intrigued by the idea of starting a corpo life path and then becoming a streetkid or nomad and how that might affect the progression.
My first playthrough will be a tony stark aka ironman type: corporate background with high intelligence/cunning/modifications so high engineer/tech/speech skills. Does the right thing (mostly), but as long as it benefits him. My second playthrough will be the opposite, stever rogers/captain america type: nomad background, high brute strength/stamina/speed/reflexes and does the right thing despite of the outcome. Third type is after i fully understand the mechanics of the game: street background villain who’s grown to hate the system and really all other people since he’s never received an ounce of kindness. High stealth/ weapons/cunning, grown to use his silver tongue to avoid situations or get his way, does everything, good or bad, purely for his own benefit
Coming from someone who was inspired by Edgerunners to purchase this game, I might be the only one who wants to start from the streets like David and be most popular merc in town. F Corpos and I ain’t no hillbilly.
If you haven't played it yet, Let me give you a warning. This entire video was bullshit and the path you choose barely affects anything. They only add extra dialogue options that allow you to skip a few combat sections.
Definitely going nomad. Love biker stuff, so when it starts and he’s wearing the biker cut and his taking his patch off that confirms it. Can’t wait to begin, that biker cut won’t come off and hopefully I can keep the patch
Nomad to me will be the best for the first playthrough as you start in the badlands and get a nice clear introduction to the cityscape, plus I like the idea of being an outsider to all the mess that Night city seems to offer.
Corpo for me, seems like an interesting story of someone who had everything then lose it all trying to survive in a world filled with street gangs and having to learn new ways to deal with it other then doing it the corpo way
I gotta go with Street Kid. I was raised in the Ghettos of different cities. I been around gang members, dealers and such. And as an immersion player, that type of lifestyle will be easier to get into and relate to. Gotta live by the streets till you run the city.
Im going to play 3 playthroughs inspired by reincarnation, as follows : Nomad: being new to the city makes sense to start with this. In the next life will be a Street Kid: as if by some luck coding from implants that were harvested gives this character an instinctual know how but not nearly enough about the world. Lastly corporate: This character will have augmentations from the last 2 reincarnations that give my character the utmost strongest sense of the city, how to survive, and how to reach the top.

My man 👏🏽
Nice dude 🎉🎉
I’ve gotta go street kid man. Just speaks to me, love the idea of growing up in the city, then getting power in it.
That's genius, I'm gonna replicate this.

It doesn't matter what you pick, within 30 minutes it'll be as if it never happened anyway.

This game seems tailor made for an evil playthrough as a Corpo, where you embrace the dark side of the city, instead of freeing it.
I hope there will be an option like this. I would like to play as Agent Smith, bringing the free people back to the system
Nomad seem to be the good guys. They represent family and freedom.
Well CDPR has said you won’t ever be “king” and “beat” night city. The corporations will remain, makes sense to ally with them as much as possible

I definitely will be playing as a Corporate with all my initial points into Intelligence and Cool.
Feeling that he doesn’t need anything else but the skills and techniques they’ve learned throughout their live
Corpo: as a person who knew the Arasaki corporation. They knew how to manipulate others. But once they want something they’ll take it willingly or unwillingly and night city will be their’s to rule and to make their own. Definitely more of a cold blooded assassin compared to the more tactical style nomad

So the most important thing to me here from a storytelling pov is that you can start with one life path and transition between them depending on decisions, etc. I'm really intrigued by the idea of starting a corpo life path and then becoming a streetkid or nomad and how that might affect the progression.
I’m just now starting Cyberpunk and I think I’m gonna go street kid mainly because I want to be in that crime life , growing up off the streets feel
it's already said in the demo mission: Only the corp gets what it wants.
Like how he showed street kid start during the corpo description
