This is my exact build, I built a pc with a ryzen 5 2600 and rx 570 in 2020 and I just upgraded the gpu a couple months ago to a 1080 I got second hand for only $160. It works very well for all my task which is just 1080p gaming and the occasional video ediitng.
Bruh i bought a pc off FB marketplace fir $300 that cane with a 1080. 😂 it works perfectly for me. And my gaming laptop is now repurposed fir my college work
I think using the Ryzen 5 4500 would give you far better results, it's only £75 so wouldn't be much more then the Ryzen 5 2600 and is basically a Ryzen 5 3600 but you can buy it new instead of used which gives you a warranty too.
The prices are a HELL of a lot better than they were a year ago. Even graphics cards have come WAY down in price, but only some graphics cards have become really well priced, while others remain very expensive relative to the performance they give. Some motherboards are also really expensive, but it's still possible to get very affordable motherboards too. The RX 6000 series graphics cards became easy to find at heavily discounted prices back around September and (even more so) in October of 2023. For a while, it was easy to find a 6700 XT for 330 USD or a 6600 for about 210 USD, and both have been available off and on for around that price (often slightly more than that in Jan and Feb of 2023). Pretty much all 6000 series GPUs have been available for very good prices off and on with various discounts. Intel graphics cards also look like a great deal right now, though they require a system with resizeable BAR to be worth while (meaning that they are less likely to be a good choice as an upgrade for an older system).
It was at 1080p in eSports games. AM4 still has a great upgrade path from a Zen 1 or Zen+ CPU. CPUs like the 5600, 5700X, and 5800X3D are all great choices.
Great video, just what i was looking for. Id like to build something like this but I'd like to upgrade the CPU to a ryzen 5 5600 at a later date (when i can afford to). Is there a motherboard that supports bith 2600 and 5600? Thanks
A lot of B450 boards will support a 5600 after a BIOS flash. Just make sure you look at the processor support listed on the motherboard manufacturer's website and you should be set!
Hey man quick question, where did you find a GTX 1080 for such a decent price? Looking at upgrading my 980 to a 1080, thankfully got the same processor which is a great processor.
I would still take a Ryzen 2600 over a 3100, especially for flipping. Those 4 cores will have trouble for anyone browsing or watching vids while playing intensive titles like Warzone or Hogwarts....know from experience
2600 can be had for $40 ez these days tho Funny my current rig has i7 2600 and will upgrade to a320m+r5 2600 worth $90😂 Shud be decent to squeeze rx6600

Flipping a Gtx 1660 ti + i5 8400 PC myself - built it for ~$350 and hope I can flip it for $550
Great video!!! keep em coming

Skip the 4500 and get a 5500 for $78. It's a way better cpu

Pls make console killer PC builds
Only £400? What a steal! I’ve sold several computers in the past few months with lesser specs for more $$.
Isnt the gpu bottlenecked? If so, are there any potential worth upgrades for the am4 socket. Or should I just save up for completely new build...

Great build, great video but what's the name of that case?
Thank you! It's called the Ionz GE336F

I found it on eBay. I think I just got lucky with putting in a low offer😅
How many fps in valo?
I wouldnt go for a 2600 personally, I would go for the i3 10100F or Ryzen 3 3100 thanks to the faster single thread perforrmance
Either option is good. The Ryzen 3100 is overpriced here in the UK. A 3600 would be a great option too
@@ProYamYamPC CeX has 3100s for around £50

@@coolumar335 ah true i guess but if you're building a budget pc i doubt you'd be wanting to play all the newest stuff

How very dare you point out that my GTX 1080 is now 7 years old! xD
My bad lol. It’s still performing well🙌
Good video
