The two homes belonging to the Grabber’s parents because when he spoke to Finney about the phone, he said it hadn’t worked since he was a kid meaning he inherited the two properties in later years.
Clay's genuine concern for van stigmatization is precious
"A PART TIME MAGICIAN WITH 2 HOMES?! I hate the 70's" LOLZ
Please, come back. We miss you guys🤗
where did you guys go
The Grabber grew up in the house Finney was in, so I assume the mortgage on that house was paid up and his parents had the deed transferred to him. Then he bought the house across the street… no real expenses outside of the mortgage, since it wasn’t occupied. That’s how I make sense of it.
What happened to Juice Labs? 😢
He definitely inherited at least one of the homes. Because he told Finney that the black phone hadn't worked from since he was a kid.
The mother committed suicide and the dad was concerned that he'd lose his kid in the same way. He was afraid. He wasn't a bad father..
People forget this suppose to be the 70s not like now we wasn’t aware back then that people like him walk among us

Hope you guys make more videos soon. Meantime, always great to watch the old videos. Your Hill House reaction is the best!
Best intense, psychological movie I've seen in a long time. I've seen it twice so far. It's one of those movies that are a great rewatch. The story was original in it's clever idea of using the Grabber's past victim's ghosts being the one to help Finney and prevent him from being yet another victim. I never seen any other concept like that in a movie. I also like the touching moral of the story about a bullied boy, who never stood up for himself, finally getting the courage to stand up against the biggest, baddest bully of all and becoming the little hero. The young actor, Mason Thames, who played Finney was incredible. He played the shy, kind-hearted kid so well that you immediately like his character and root for him from the very beginning. If you think about it, Thames had the tough task of carrying the movie on his shoulders since most of the movie's scenes were of him alone in the basement. And when not alone in the basement, Thames had go toe-to-toe with Oscar-nominated Ethan Hawke and he held his own very well. The sister was good, as well, with her tough spunkiness. The climatic ending was such a great payoff as well. I found myself shouting at the tv, "Go Finney!" It's rare to have a horror movie have touching moments in it where you find yourself tearing up. I found myself tearing up when Robing calls Finney and gives him the pep talk he needs to carry on and the moment we see Finney making an appearance across the street and he and Gwen make eye contact, she runs to him and they embrace. The closeness between the siblings was very touching. Gwen never gave up finding him and was rewarded with a happy ending. I'm so glad you guys did a reaction to this movie and as always, I enjoyed your commentary. Glad you all really enjoyed the movie as I did.
Billy showalter wasn't the first victim, the order of the victims are:
For anyone who don't know the guys are coming back in August
My single mom raised 5 kids as a sales clerk back in the 70s and my friends dad raised 4 kids on an ice cream sales salary. Times have changed.
