Getting annoyed by a bird interrupting a fashion moment, casually talking about shimmering snow while driving over cultists and laughing over exploding leopard pieces with an innocent and happy "I'm not a psycho!" topping it all 😂 Fantastic times in the foothills! Amazing video as usual Suzanne!

Took me so long to notice the stamps being added to Lara's passport for each new location she travels to. I love that when the Fia Mannera capture her on the oil rig they took the time to stamp their logo in her passport. Also just noticed the most recent patch changed the skybox for Tibetian Foothills to show distant mountains which look really pretty.

Ironically what you said about the underwater levels not receiving as much of a glow-up was fixed by the latest update! Much nicer lighting and water effects now

Funnily enough, using the snowmobile and squeezing past the blocks without moving them is an achievement! You could have shown off and gotten rewarded for it. 😅

Blowing up the snow leopards was excellent. It’s funny because the pieces fly all over and it’s not bloody. More cartoonish but excellent nonetheless.

Been playing this game for 25 years and never noticed that secret leopard tunnel at the start of the level. 🤯
In my explorations with photo mode I looked around the final snowmobile battle area and it turns out before the snowmobiles trigger, the drivers are already there. Squatting. It looks so funny.
& I've said it before, but as you loved this I cannot wait to see your reaction to The Cold War!

The sad thing about the hand is they put the effort to pixelise the exclamation mark when you were in the original graphics, but the hand still looks current. I dont know if they tweaked it in the latest patch though

27:35 Red herring. I tried to get the goon on the snowmobile to chase me there, hoping to lock the gate and trap him. I also tried jumping off Lara's red snowmobile and clinging to ledge, hoping the goon would careen over the cliff. Both attempts just got Lara killed. 😵💫

I'm not a fan of the action indicator. The hand is cool but for me it takes away from the challenge of finding things.
I wasn’t a fan of it either but the hand is very entertaining 😂

I made the mistake of playing most of this game relying on pistols and I wound up with an overflow of ammo when I reached the last levels. So good thing you went much less conservative with the ammo!

Thank you 🥰 I used to do that when I was younger. I’d use pistols for everything and shoot everything from high ledges, but like that, I’d end up with loads of ammo at the end and had missed out on the fun of using the guns and combat 😂 I like to try and use and enjoy weapons now 🥰

The new patch has improved the sky box on this level and Barkhang - the mountain ranges in the distance have returned, albeit at much better quality.

27:40 I think this is the way the devs intended you to go after clearing that ramp. You do a running jump across the gap, then climb down. That's how I did it the first time.
Good job killing the scooter "boss" in one go. I always had trouble with him and died at least once, because he kept running me over.

Fun fact: Did you know that stepping on certain tiles is what usually starts the music? So if the music suddenly stops due to a secret chime, try retracing your steps to where the music first started.
36:15 I think you could always do that, but I'm not 100% sure. You just need to be on the move constantly.
I think the devs expect you to drive into the water with the snowmobile, even though you can get to the end with a very precise jump, too.

13:14 I think there’s an achievement for making the jump to get around the blocks rather than dragging them out of the way, so you might end up reliving that childhood experience in order to get the trophy.

27:39 I’ve speculated that this area is for the benefit of any players who were so focused on avoiding the snow boulders to the right and the crevasse to the left that they didn’t spot the climbable wall leading down to the cave with the drawbridge key in - a way of showing them what they’d missed.

Heads up new patch has a bug of Lara missing dialogue in her home in 1&3
It's not a bug. They were forced to remove those lines of dialogue. Sony and Nintendo have a policy of not having misleading instructions for training levels, and unfortunately, having lara say things like "press Action" instead of "press the X button" goes against their mandate. It's silly, I know, but that's the reason. The only way to fix it would be to have Judith Gibbons and Shelly Blond re-record their dialogue to say which modern controller buttons the player has to press.

That is true. If you don’t shoot a monk they will not only leave you alone, but also help in combat against enemies. Barkhang is one of my favourite levels ever too 🥰
