I started sign language at the age of 11. I am now currently 13 and know two songs and learning this song. Sign language is such a beautiful language to learn. my Bible teacher for 6th grade was deaf; She had inspired me to learn sign language. You did an amazing job signing this! Keep it up!

I love this song, but I didn't read the description or anything so it was really powerful to me when you turned your head and I saw the hearing aid (or is it a cochlear implant?). I felt so much more emotion after the head turn. I didn't speak until I was almost 3 yo, but I do talk. My mom taught me easy ASL as a toddler since I didn't talk. I have since forgotten most of it but have a real passion for the deaf/ hard of hearing community and have finally decided to learn ASL and learn it well. I think their community never gets enough credit and it needs it!
Thank you so much for the kind message and yes its cochlear implant, got it 10 years ago. Profound deaf in left ear and worn hearing aid on the right...then lost all of my hearing in the right thats when I got cochlear implant. 😊
