Before 'we' went to Africa, tribes were killing eachother, some of those tribes even made cannibalism a practice - another thing all of our cultures have done, at a time. Before Europe and the US messed around in Asia, Asians were fighting eachother (Japan especially was very kind to its neighbours...). And of course, our culture does the same... Russians and Europeans have been fighting, since forever. It never stops... Jebus screwed by Roman oppression, but it became Imperialism. Same for Muslims. They too imperialised and have been fighting internally for over 1400 years, leading to Saudi Arabia vs Iran, basically. Turkey and Syria as respective partners, and the US and Russia behind that. And all the while, all those countries had internal struggles, between people of the same color.
The US is so 'succesful' around the world (in dividing and conquering) because all the other cultures have internal struggles. The US picks a side and tries to reinforce that side - for profit and influence... Sometimes under the guise of morals/freedom, bla. China started to play similar games over the last 30 years. Russia tried, but was slowly humiliated, leading to them taking Crimea and messing around in Ukraine, for NATO wouldn't stop expanding... Which they promised, but conveniently forgot about.
The dark ages were even more rotten, them world wars were about profit, mostly.
My long and boring point; like whatever you want, but this misery is neverending. It's why Jebus believed love and forgiveness is the answer. Love for others that is...
What we see today is an increase in people who love themselves very much, a very bad omen. Together we stand, divided we fall...
