In the Kitchen with Bethany: Salsa Recipe

- I know it’s easy to buy Salsa and it may seem too labor intensive or intimidating to make your own, but we have a fast, easy and delicious Salsa recipe to share with you that will show you just how approachable it can be to make it yourself. We use the food processor which some may see as “cheating,” but we just see as smart :)
Ingredients:
1/2 of a Purple Onion
3 cloves Garlic
1/2 large Lime, or 2-3 small Limes
3-4 cups of small Tomatoes or 4-5 large tomatoes
Cilantro (a heaping handful)
Sea salt to taste (we used a sea salt with chili blend for extra spice)
(Optional) 1 Jalapeño hot pepper, remove seeds for less spice
(Optional) 3 Tbls. Kimchi (we used this to add spice)
1 Tbsp Honey
(Optional) 1/2 Papaya or mango
1/2 Avocado (cut up into small squares)

Bethany I came across your channel by chance today (01/09/20). The first vlog I watched was of you, Adam and Wesley making pesto. I gave it a ‘like’. I’ve really enjoyed your healthy cooking segments. I agree with you about the poor quality oils used in many of our food products especially vegetable oil (which sounds healthy but isn’t). Education certainly is key. I watched your movie ‘Unstoppable’ last year at the movies. I was drawn to it by your resilience. Truly amazing. Thank you for sharing your story. I’ve recently watched a movie on DVD called ‘Ride Like A Girl’. It’s about the first female to win the Australian Melbourne Cup. She too was resilient but as a jockey. I highly recommend it. I look forward to catching up on your other cooking vlogs. Maybe one day you may write a cook book with all your family’s easy to prepare and healthy recipes. I would certainly buy it 📒

Bethany salt you're using is just sand and glass. Tablesalt is bad with cappitol B. You can learn a LOT from Alana about food. A) animals shouldn't die in a world where vegan everything is available - cheese, yogurt, burgers, beef, pork...everything, even ice cream. Live compassion. It's easy - you just chose. God gave everyone a choice to be compassionate. B) vegan is healthier. It shouldn't take a heart attack for a doctor to be honest. Last year a new study proved vegan athletes outperform non vegan athletes in every sport. C) the healthiest source of salt is seaweed. Sea salt. In Okinawa people used to live to 200. We weren't designed to die at 80. It's just that meat and dairy are acidic so the body gets worse piece by piece and feeding dead bodies to little kids is just disgusting
