Alan is a bartender in San Francisco with over ten years worth of bartending experience, ranging from dive bars, nightclubs, and Michelin Star fine dining establishments. He is a former lab rat in biotechnology and a fitness enthusiast.
It seems to be a common problem: people simply assume they when they own a business, they can just collect income without actually working on it.
The bar Bottoms Up - a bar that Jon recons with Maria as well- was the opposite actually. The manager was putting the work instead of goofing off, but his staff didn't listen and were highly sexually charged in their roles as bartenders to the point where one fingered herself in front of customers.
I like this guy cause you can tell he's in pain watching the incompetence of these bars. You can see he has a genuine passion for bar tending and giving customers a good experience. I'm no social dude by any means and i hate bars. But I think that's pretty cool. Bar rescue is just great trashy t.v too.
Thats why ive been so addicted to these!

Another bar where the bartenders cooked was The Hooch. The reason why the owner made them cook as well is because it's a 2 in 1 bar and kitchen. Please react to that one next! The owner was awful!

Maria Menounos is a high profile celebrity - they had to make sure no one recognised her so they treat her like a usual customer, that's why they went overboard with their disguises.
But did she ACTUALLY eat the food? I highly doubt it.

I just looked up, she was born in Boston. So now I'm wondering if she was using her native accent as part of her disguise.

Used to work at a place that the bartenders often cooked. Not like on a busy weekend or anything but because it was a dive bar, on weekday daytime shifts we often had to work alone and do it all. It was... manageable...ish lmfao. Great video as always 👍
If I own a bar, and I have women working, I will always have security. Regardless of how rowdy the bar seems to get. It’s not a bartender, especially a female, job to break up fights. It’s about liability more than anything else

i’ve worked at multiple restaurants/bars with my family but it really only worked cause we all did completely different jobs and weren’t stuck working on top of each other the whole shift AND we keep personal shit personal if im arguing all week with my aunt im not gonna bring that argument into work, i’ll bitch at her on my own time😂

They said one of the problems is that the owner doesn’t know anything so the senior bartenders have to train the new ones. I don’t see anything wrong with that. In fact I think that can be more effective than the owner training.
A senior staff member is going to know the job inside and out. They are in the trenches DOING the job. Half the time management hasn’t been in that position and have no idea what’s required other than the basics where the people that are doing it regularly can really give you the low down

WE CAME FROM ANOTHER ONE. NONE OF THE BARTENDERS THAT WORKED THERE WANTED TO BE ON THIS SHOW. EXCEPT ROBERT. SO WE WERE ASK TO BE ON THIS SHOW. EVEN THOUGH WE JUST STARTED.
WHAT U WATCHED IS A VERY EDITED VERSION OF WHAT REALLY HAPPENED AT THAT BAR. I COULD GO ON FOR AN HOUR TALKING ABOUT IT.
BEFORE THE CAMERAS GOT THERE. WE STAYED AND CLEANED THAT BAR TILL 6 AM! THEN THEY TOOK OVER THE BAR. WHEN I CAME BACK THINGS WERE CHANGED! THEY ADDED THESE BOTTLES WITH THE BUGS. THEY BASICALLY DIRTY IT UPED! THE CHICKEN WINGS WERE NOT RAW! LOL, THEY WERE COLD BECAUSE. THOSE WERE PRE COOKED WINGS. BUT ROBERT DIDN'T LET THE OIL HEAT UP AGAIN. THE MARGARITA HE POURED WAS WRONG LOL BUT THE SWEET AND SOUR CAME OUT OF THE GUN. IN HIS DEFENSE.
THEY TOOK ALL OF OUR GLASSWARE AND ONLY LEFT US WITH 70 GLASSES . THEY HELD 200 PEOPLE OUT FRONT! FOR 2 HRS!! THEY WERE PISSED AMD HUNGRY. THERE WAS ONLY 3 BARTENDERS. THIS IS A STRESS TEST, SO THEY DONT MAKE IT EASY. PLUS IT'S GOOD FOR TELEVISION! MY DRINKS THAT WENT TO THE VIP TABLE WERE ON FUCKING POINT! MIA TASTE TESTED THEM!! BUT AGAIN ITS GOOD FOR TV! THE OWNERS HAD NO IDEA HOW TO RUN A BAR! THATS WHY THEY BROUGHT ME IN. AGAIN I WAS BRAND NEW AT THAT BAR SO I HADN'T GOT MY FOOTING DOWN THEN I WAS THROWN INTO THIS HELL !
