What about Turkey Instanbul?I got admission also in Yeditepe university Masters in Economic or Masters in Accounting and Finance. Which do you advice me to go for,is it Neapolis University in south Cyprus or Yeditepe university in Instanbul Turkey?
Heya sir. Ive lately been wating to study in Nicosia community college. What do you think? Will i be able to work and pay fees for the second year by working part time?
For studies in SOUTH CYPRUS: International students are generally allowed to work part-time for up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and full-time during vacations (e.g., summer). Jobs are often in hospitality, retail, or service industries, and wages are typically around €4-7/hour for such roles. Managing work and studies can be challenging. Ensure your program allows enough flexibility to work part-time without compromising your academics. Some colleges offer partial scholarships or discounts for excellent academic performance. Look into these options. It’s a good idea to have savings or financial support for the first year, as finding a part-time job might take time. Recommendation: You can potentially fund part of your second-year tuition through part-time work, but it’s advisable to have a backup plan (e.g., savings or a scholarship) to avoid financial stress.
I just secured admission in Neapolis University south Cyprus Masters in Accounting and Finance,I am a hustler who would want to work while studying. Are you saying I can't get a better JOB?
Yes, BAU Cyprus (Bahçeşehir Cyprus University) is recognized both locally and internationally. However, the scope of its recognition depends on your objectives (e.g., further studies or employment). Here are some details to clarify: Recognition Overview 1. Local Recognition (Northern Cyprus): BAU Cyprus operates under the authority of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation, and Coordination Council (YÖDAK). It is legally recognized in Northern Cyprus and Turkey. 2. International Recognition: BAU Cyprus is part of the Bahçeşehir University Global Network, which includes Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, a highly reputable institution. Many of its programs are accredited or designed to meet international standards, which can facilitate global acceptance. 3. EU and Global Recognition: Degrees from institutions in Northern Cyprus may face additional scrutiny in some countries due to the political status of Northern Cyprus. If you plan to work or study in the EU, UK, or US, it’s important to: Verify recognition of the degree in your target country. Confirm whether the program is accredited by international bodies or meets equivalency standards. 4. Accreditations: Some programs at BAU Cyprus are recognized by specific international accreditation bodies (e.g., for engineering, business, or health sciences). You should check the specific program for its accreditation status. Key Considerations Further Studies: If you plan to pursue postgraduate studies abroad, confirm the university's acceptability of a BAU Cyprus degree. You can email the university to find out. Employment: Employers may request equivalency verification in some countries. Northern Cyprus degrees are widely recognized in Turkey, parts of the Middle East, and some African countries but may need equivalence certification in the EU or other regions. Recommendation: If your primary goal is to work or further your education outside Northern Cyprus, research recognition in your desired destination and explore global accreditation for your program.
I guess there is but I cannot guarantee a job. South Cyprus is Europe (EU), so, it is better than North Cyprus which is not Europe. And I believe the chances of getting a job in South Cyprus is higher compared to North Cyprus
hi sir,I'm postulating to study computer science in Cyprus international university ,i'm just confused after hearing that.what do you think about this university?
This video doesn't give proper context. It all depends on the university you go to. There's so many tiny universities that don't have the right accreditation. EMU, CIU, NEU, Lefke and GAU are all internationally recognized. And with jobs, all student part time jobs are low paying, anywhere in the world, and a lot of people want higher paying jobs but don't even put the effort in to learn the language that will open up your opportunities a bit more. I will admit though the currency issue is completely unfair. I was there 6 years, worked 3 jobs while studying and have lived in 3 other countries since and never had an issue with recognition.
I don't think you watched this video from the beginning till the end. I did mention that there are some good schools in Cyprus and i never said the schools there are not recognized; I gave credit where due. I think you need to re-watch the video again with an open mind. Having lived in North Cyprus, Turkey and Europe, i know the difference, and the main point in this video is for those who intend to move abroad for hustling. NORTH CYPRUS IS NOT IDEAL for them.
