I’m so ready to see how much more powerful KOTOR 2 is. I remember running force lightning on my light side guardian when I was younger because it was so strong so seeing it on a counselor will be crazy.
@@logeeman8 haha yeah I always ran force storm on a max light side consular! I just loved the power, but also wanted to not be dark side. Always worked out anyway :D
Single best Force power to use against final Malak: Force Breach. It shreds his immunity to make him vulnerable to Force powers and trivialize the fight.
Is this build applicable with lightside alignment though? ("It's not Force Storm, it's Electric Judgement" - Plo Koon, probably.) I did a force-focused build playing lightside in KOTOR 2, and at least for that game the penalties for using dark side powers with LS did not looks significant enough to stop feeling badass. "UNLIMITED... JUSTIIICE!!!"
The build could be applicable for lightside since the light mastery gives +3 charisma so you would still gain some max force as well as some powers would gain modifiers to success. The overall loss of alignment usage could outweigh by having more successes. As well as stasis being light side could allow you to stun more efficiently and then hit your dark side damaging while they are defenseless.
You can stack wisdom items (+7 WIS before star forge), LS mastery (+3 CHA) and master valor (+5 WIS and CHA), for +12 WIS +8 Cha. This can get you a grand total of +10 to DC (6 from WIS, 4 from CHA) and force points per level for the duration of valor. Easily surpasses the dark side mastery bonus. I'm not sure how the math works out with death field and force storm regarding force points and their consumption, but for force wave light side is strictly superior. You'll get more damage per cast for sure, since your DC will be almost unreachable for most enemies.
Could've have a watch a full 30 mins of this woth more higlight clips but great vid and might even try a force only attempt myself. Been playing this on ad off on mobile and it's honestly pretty great
I've been trying to keep it more interesting with speaking audio over the gameplay without having dead space but I could start incorporating longer videos with more game play coming up!
i loved this sort of build, if youre smart about it you can even combine stealth with 3 characters, position them in the bulk of enemies and then use force storm on all 3 while in stealth
Really enjoyed the Video! I also really love "Force only" playthroughs in both games. Why didn't you go with Force Breach? Wouldn't that have made the battle against malak even easier? Or does it not matter with that many points in Charisma and Wisdom? Also, i thought the music was a bit too loud at times, but i only had trouble understanding something one time, so it wasn't too bad
I have gotten that comment for the music and hopefully my new videos are a better reflection of that! I’m still learning so I appreciate any feedback. I didn’t use breach mostly for the fact my high charisma and wisdom was carrying even against all dark Jedi and Malak part 1 fight. I think it would make hitting force chokes easier but other than that I spent the powers on buffing myself instead.
I think that light side force damager is still better) you have access to circlet os saresh and qel droma robes, that is +7 wisdom, and then star forge robes, so it is +10 wisdom) and light side mastery will provide +3 charisma)
@@logeeman8 too bad that there are not so many great dark side items in the game...light side has better items, better alignment bonuses and better damage against DS
such a classic game, one of the best but i never could finish a dark side playthrough. Mission is my favorite character from KOTOR and could never follow through with killing her
@TheRealCHIMShady oh probably, it probably wasn't crazy back then due to lower frame rate I'm assuming, then again I just shut off the blur now compared to back then haha
I mean... that's the easiest way to play the games... even my light side consular/watchmen is force storming to win with a focus on charisma every level
This is awesome to hear. Thank you I appreciate it! I think I'm coming into it more in some recent videos and I'm working towards a better telling that I feel works with my personality :)
Force Storming the Nar Shadda cantina like a god mode maniac

The only way to do it😂

I did drain. Iirc, it prevents him from healing with his pods
I just bought this game last week and I'm playing it for the first time ever. I got kotor 2 as well so I'll be marathoning that one after this
Good luck friend👍
Lucky!!! Have fun, please check back with updates🥹
enjoy. they are among the best games ever made
How’s it going?
They're both incredible games, and you gotta play them multiple times each to get a full understanding of why they're so good, Goodluck my friend

I think you can turn motion blur off in the settings, actually.
I believe you can but I find it weird not having it with sprinting fast without it. The animation is awkward haha and it helps know I’m goin fast👍

They add huge bonuses for sure, never finish a run without them on light side regardless of build. Just to get the wisdom defense alone.

I’m not sure if there’s a way to let her go or not or if she fights you regardless, but it definitely provided impact to running dark side!
There is a mod that lets u turn her I belive
Get the wookie to do it for you.
I love playing a dark side force stormer
Fyi sneak attack doesn't work on force powers. And only force storm damages force points, shock and lighting do not.
on PC u can turn off screem blur with the speed
It wasn't as bad back in the day but if you use a widescreen fix the low resolution blur effect made me crazy nauseous

Your sound isn't good. The music is too loud compared to your voice. And max sound is pretty low generally.
Everybody a critic lol
