it´s crazy all of this mediaplay. but BTS and BP is promoted very differently. BP is more about their image being models and trendsetters their fans are very young and use all their time on social media gushing over how beautiful they are. they see a singing barbie doll and don´t care what´s going on behind closed doors. Bts music is consumed studied and has the power of healing. people listen to BTS we dont just dance to their songs. they make their own music and artist like that can keep going forever and not get tired. they keep getting inspired to do better. so BTS has a long career in music. so when medias keep comparing BTS and BP in the same category it´s just so wrong. it´s like one is selena gomez and the other one is MJ. even if they both do pop the artistry behind these artists are enormous. and i wish more people would focus on BTS music and not how many awards they won witch is great too but their music quality is being overlooked because many think it´s all do to army. but also because boybands have that negative image, so people want to avoid them. but funny enough there is not the same hesitance with a girlgroup, men likes to watch cheerleaders dance too, so girlgroups are no different to them.
To be fair, I don't look down on BP fans for loving them because of their looks because as Kpop fans, all of us appreciate how handsome and pretty our idols are. What I don't get is how they still see BP in the same level or even higher as BTS, when BP has time and time again, showed little to no artistry and even participate in shady stuff like in the video. Landon, I know what reactor you are talking about. I've never seen any of his videos, but I have a different take on this situation. As an ARMY since 2014, I've seen the best and the worst in regards to reactors on RUclips. I've seen reactors who are. (or claimed to be) the most open minded and accepting people but never get or appreciate BTS' message and lyrics. I've also seen reactors who have reacted to BTS and have said dismissive, xenophobic, homophobic, awful things about the group. But, in continuing to listen to BTS, some of those same reactors have been truly effected by their music, their lyrics, their message. And now they are loyal ARMY. With all this discourse, I have not heard anyone say he has attacked, dismissed, or disrespected BTS. Because I believe in these 7 men and the love, light, and positivity they bring and give to everyone, I can never dismiss anyone who allows themselves to listen to BTS, be it for clout, curiosity, whatever. If we, as ARMY, want to effect change with BTS, then they can't just "preach to the choir". "BTS finds you when you need them most." We can't expect someone to possibly grow and change their toxic mentality if we discourage them from listening to the group and possibly learning from them. That's my 2 cents on the matter. In the interest of further discussion, I wanted to make sure I'm understanding your comment. Are you saying that BTS and Andrew Tate are the same in their messages to the world? That both should be celebrated for their messaging?
Landon, I know what reactor you are talking about. I've never seen any of his videos, but I have a different take on this situation.
As an ARMY since 2014, I've seen the best and the worst in regards to reactors on RUclips. I've seen reactors who are. (or claimed to be) the most open minded and accepting people but never get or appreciate BTS' message and lyrics. I've also seen reactors who have reacted to BTS and have said dismissive, xenophobic, homophobic, awful things about the group. But, in continuing to listen to BTS, some of those same reactors have been truly effected by their music, their lyrics, their message. And now they are loyal ARMY. With all this discourse, I have not heard anyone say he has attacked, dismissed, or disrespected BTS.
Because I believe in these 7 men and the love, light, and positivity they bring and give to everyone, I can never dismiss anyone who allows themselves to listen to BTS, be it for clout, curiosity, whatever. If we, as ARMY, want to effect change with BTS, then they can't just "preach to the choir".
"BTS finds you when you need them most." We can't expect someone to possibly grow and change their toxic mentality if we discourage them from listening to the group and possibly learning from them.
That's my 2 cents on the matter. Hope it made sense.

In a country, ie the US for me, where Asian diversity is not taught or even acknowledged, ignorance is inevitable. That's when you take the time to educate not denigrate. If you give people the knowledge and they proceed to offend and disrespect, then I, speaking for myself, would guard my energy an walk away.
