Wow, phew! If you had ordered any A6 or A5 books, they would not have survived because the packaging was switched to paper rather than plastic this year. Crossing fingers my A6 and everyone else's orders will not meet water/rain. 🤞 Thank you for sharing and remaining as calm as one can possibly be. :)

I’m so glad your contents weren’t ruined or damaged with the box being so wet! I bought the Mega in the bright green because I thought it would look nice in my navy Galen Leather cover. I found it very helpful having all the note pages in the mega so that everything I needed was in one place. But…the bunnies were so adorable and my hubby wears bow ties, so I couldn’t resist getting it, too!
Oh my! When the box just disintegrated in front of my eyes. Glad everything was ok. The bunny weeks is cute, I do miss how the bow tie fabric feels. I can relate to comparing new potential covers to the ones we already have. That way I will end up buying less.

Unrelated to this video but I'm loving your content and have binged so many of your videos this week as I'm planning out my hobonichi weeks life for next year. Do you have a video explaining how you structure the small supplemental notebook that you keep/kept your family medical info (doctors addresses/numbers, prescriptions, etc)? If you dont, would you consider making one? I know that the info there is private so you'd need to do the extra work of creating a mockup, but i'd really love to see how to set that up. I'm also a homemaker and i'm drowning in medical information and keeping track of kids sick records. I would love to try a system like yours because it sounds so easy and essential. please consider it!!
Thank you! I don’t have a video about the booklet, but mostly because it’s just in list form and nothing very organized😆. The first page is the name of each family member with their current meds and allergies listed under each name. The rest of the pages follow this formula: name of facility, name of family member who goes there, doctor’s name, address of facility, phone number, fax number. As we move, I just continue to add the new facilities.

Sarah I know the stress with FedEx I was on a shot once a month for my migraines which had to be put in the fridge. I got no notice and when they dropped it off they did not ring the bell or knock so it set out in 90* weather all night I was so mad it is a $700 plus shot. They said to take it right away but I was scared but did it. I no longer on the shots they gave me too much stress. Love and light to you and your family!

Your box faired better than mine. Mine was also delivered by fedex… and the box was completely smashed. The hobonichi notebook I ordered got a bit smashed.

Hi! Is the ink used in the English weeks the same color as in the Japanese version or is it darker? Usually it looks darker in the A6 English vs the Original. I was just wondering. Thank you!
It’s the same color in the English version. Some of the titles like the days of the week and the months are written bigger and bolder in English. But the grid is the same size and color in both versions.

I don't know what they mean. Also, they ask for postal code but will not accept my zip code. Is that what they mean? Sorry to ask, but I know you're a pro at ordering from them. Thanks!
Oh no! I’ve never come across the email formatting or zip code issue. I have an account with them so all my info is populated from the first time I set up my account years ago. I can’t remember what I did! I hear you can email their customer service and they’re very helpful. The only advice I have is to set up an account before trying to order. I’m so sorry!

Somehow, I cursed you by commenting that the only thing that would damage the red box was significant moisture… sorry! Mine came in a larger outer ordinary brown box. I was very glad to see that the items inside weren’t badly affected.
What did we do to deserve two videos back to back?? I get what you mean about your Weeks all coordinating. I used pastel colored Weeks in 2017 and 2018, the three botanicals and then the 365 Days cover for this 2022. I ended up hating it, but I think I'm at peace with the fact it won't match with the precious years at all...I think. lol

Please let Hobonichi know how terribly Fedex delivered to you. Last year Fedex stole half my items (I can see exactly where the weight of the parcel changed, and took screenshots before Fedex erased the information). Hobonichi replaced them, but I had conversations with them about how Fedex is a terrible delivery option, and how they should consider using another delivery option since Fedex damages or loses more than they actually deliver.
Yes, I agree. I asked JetPens not to ship to me via FedEx anymore. In all my years of JP purchases, only 2 ever arrived damaged, and they were the only 2 shipped by FedEx. I’ve had problems with other online companies who ship only by FedEx. It’s becoming a deal-breaker for me. Not to mention FedEx tracking info is useless, including listing delivery dates long past! Terrible delivery option.

The Bunnies weeks is perfect. I love that the bunnies are realistic, not cartoonish. The bow and shamrock are cute touches. The embroidery is on point as usual! 🥹

FedEx. 😡 2 years ago FedEx didn’t even drive up our driveway to deliver my Hobonichi box. I guess the driver was too tired and chose to just toss my box out by our pond. I was searching everywhere for it! When I found it, it was soaked…. But in perfume or something. I suspect that a perfume bottle in someone else’s package broke and drained onto my box.
