Yeah... That song was the one that got me into Band-Maid... First i heard "Thrill" and i thought: Yeah, that´s actually pretty cool and after THIS i was like: Where can i buy the albums, i want a shirt, are they gonna tour to europe? And here i am, i am glad i found them, it sounds silly, but they are making my life a bit better... If i need to clean my house or anything i take my cordless headset with Band-Maid at full volume and i do it with a smile on my face!
That doesn't sound silly to me at all. I think they've had that effect on most of us. Thank goodness we have them in this shite-ass year called 2020.

@@Kevin6059 Does not sound one bit silly to me, either. Good music will move most people to a certain degree. Great music will reach your soul. These ladies have a very special gift. They can reach and affect people of all cultures, nations, religions or lack thereof, languages and all of the myriad things that separate us from each other. I am not saying that they will reach everyone but they have already reached people from such different backgrounds and cultures in a way that l have not seen since the Beatles conquered the world a lifetime ago. Not the same numbers yet but still in the same transcendental way. Long before the net the Beatles would fly into Japan or Australia or the Philippines or Europe and literally be mobbed by adoring fans across the globe. While Band-Maid does not have the numbers yet they have that exact same global appeal. I know they struck a chord in me that l thought had died many years ago. Best regards.

Five, or in this case four, remarkable talents whose sum is even greater than the parts. They could play in jeans and T-shirts and be awesome, but for me the ironic statement (maid outfits) of not judging by appearances adds to the appeal.
It is the very core of the concept of the gap. If and when they become household names and the vast majority of people, whether they like them or not, have some idea of them and the gap then, conceivably, they would not need the maid costume. I am not saying when everyone likes them. Just knows them and who and what they are. Think Ozzy. For the average person all around the globe whether they hate or love him his name is instantly recognizable. Band-Maid should have close to that level of recognition before they come out in their tee shirts, jeans and sneakers. Just a thought.

Oddly, the women themselves aren't badass in the slightest, although they aren't maids either. Kanami is about as shy as they come. It's funny, but I find the whole leather "trying to look bad" thing such a cliche now, and I'm glad they haven't gone for that. The only change I think would be fun would be "bad maids" for a halloween gig.
